What a fun, colorful, interactive book.

Not only do we get a fun book, but we get to learn so yoga poses that are easy and great for children. The book is simple enough for younger children to join in but I feel that the trying of the yoga poses will be fun for a wider range as well. Likely great for any beginner learning yoga I bet.

The pictures are simple, big and bright. Very clean for all ages, very practical for any child to relate to. Not the greatest style, technically but the basic touches show a lot of heart in what is shown.

I do worry the interest will quickly wear off for older kids. Ages 5 and under will likely love doing this book again and again but I worry about the 6 years old and up. It might be fun a couple times but the story is so simple I see boredom setting in. So the age interest is a bit more restricted than I might like. But it is very accurate to the summary!

*I was given a digital copy of this book for review. All opinions expressed are strictly my own.

This was such a good book. I loved reading it as an adult.

It is 51 pages and it is all about yoga. It illustrates a family that goes to Bali and through their adventures the little girl of the family learns yoga poses.

The book does a very good job in showing a scene that would be similar to the yoga pose such a showing someone on a scooter and then showing a similar pose (chair pose) and showing people surfing and then showing the pose (warrior 2 pose). There a plenty of poses to get your child started in yoga. I have done yoga for years and I think this is just a great way to learn. Plus it is a healthy way to exercise and to get rid of stress. Kids have stress too! And you can do this with your child. I think it would be special time to spend with your child everyday.

At the end of the book are a lot of great things. First there is a summary of all the positions with the names and the illustrations of all of the poses. So they are all in one place to look at.

Also at the end of the book you learn how to count to 20 in Indonesian which is the language of Bali. The page is very colorful and you want to learn the numbers because of that.

Then there is a section of simple phrases such as hello, how are you?, and my name is in English and Indonesian. It shows two girls talking together. There are a lot of phrases and this is good for children to learn while they are young. New languages are better to teach to young children. You never know they may want to learn to speak Indonesian!

Then there is a great parent/teacher guide and a lot of links.

I cannot go on without mentioning the illustration. It is fabulous. It is very large and colorful and it keeps you interested. It kept me interested! So I would imagine it would keep a younger child interested.

I think this is good for children 8 and up. Just double check that. I do not know what the book recommends. I am going by my nephew who is 7 and I think he is just about ready for this type of book.

Overall this was a great children's book and I would recommend it to any mother's that I know for them and their children.

The age audience in my house is 4 and 6. My four year old adored this book. She had so much fun doing the poses and felt like she did something great. The story was cute to appeal to this age group. I would recommend it for ages 3-6 and higher for kids with pervasive development. Adorable book!

Hello, Bali: A Kids Yoga Island Adventure Book is the latest book published from Kids Yoga Stories. (We were lucky enough to receive an electronic copy of the book, which I printed and bound for my girls to read.) The story creatively guides a child into 15 different yoga poses that were inspired by the author's trip to Bali. The book includes colorful illustrations, a list of the yoga poses in the back of the book, a guide to counting in Indonesian, a guide to basic conversational speech in Indonesian, and a parent-teacher guide.

Each page in the main part of the book has a short sentence about the scene and a yoga pose inspired by the scene. The scenes are playful, with bright, vibrant colors that attract a young child's eye. The actions in the illustration are mirrored by the yoga poses, displayed by an illustration of a young girl. As an example, the child surfing is shown looking just like the warrior 2 yoga pose.

The poses in this book are significantly more challenging compared to the previous Kids Yoga Stories book I reviewed: Good Night, Animal World: A Kids Yoga Bedtime Story. However, this book certainly appealed more to my oldest daughter, who is seven, whereas the Good Night, Animal World book appealed more to my toddler. My seven year old enjoyed the challenge of completing each of the poses in Hello Bali, and she often would jump back and forth between pages trying the poses in series.

What I enjoyed most about this book was the additional information included at the end about Bali. My daughter had never heard of Bali and was excited to learn some of the basic language. Even though this book is recommended for ages 2-5, my seven year old was extremely engaged and excited to show her younger sister how to do each of the poses.

Both of my girls have enjoyed reading, posing, and rereading this book. It has been great watching my youngest gain balance and strength doing these exercises as we get ready for bed. Seeing her stand on one foot, considering she just turned 2 in May, really shows the benefits of consistent practice. Make sure to check out the whole series of books from Kids Yoga Stories.

Written for young readers Hello, Bali is a wonderful adventure story with a teaching element hidden into the stories. Young readers will enjoy reading about Anamika and all the different things she does on Bali. As they follow her they also learn the various yoga poses that coincide with her adventure. After enjoying the story, your young reader will find a glossary of the mentioned yoga pose. As an added bonus there is a basic Indonesian dictionary of numbers and a few phrases.

Hello, Bali is a fantastic teaching tool for your young reader. With the beautifully done illustrations readers will enjoy reading "Hello, Bali" again and again. The young readers in my family enjoyed it so much we had to read it three different times in one night. My nephew reminded me his birthday is next month. They all know I usually buy books as gifts to encourage a love of reading. Pick up a copy for yourself and watch your young readers become absorbed in it.

This is a wonderful new concept in teaching children to relax and exercise through Yoga! Emily Gedzyk has provided the illustrations in vivid colors with cute yet simple characters. The scenes depicting Bali Island are very well done. With each exercise stance, there is a circular picture of a young girl performing the stance in the same simple, colored dress - so easily followed. The rest of the duel pages often have another recreational stance with the same pose which is enlightening and fun to relate to.

The child receives the whole exercise in story form. It is very clever. It is easy to show a group the pictures as the story is read . The book is a large 81/2 by 11 inch story book.

There are key words listed and emphasized at the end of the story, plus, parent/teacher guide with Instructions. It, also, has key words in English & in Indonesian in the back pages of the book. To top it all off, there is a coloring page at the very end.

This is a remarkable innovative idea to present, exercise, foreign language, & literary learning all in one lesson. This is one of several countries-languages this series presents. Directed at the toddler and elementary age student.

I heartily review this book offering a Five Stars rating.

Hello, Bali: A Kids Yoga Island Adventure Book combines yoga and an adventure in a delightful children's book. The story follows Anamika and her family as they vacation in Bali. The brief text describes their adventures exploring the island and invites the reader to join in. Each island activity has a matching yoga pose with a drawing of Anamika modeling it for the reader. These poses and pictures are also included in a guide at the back of the book. Young readers will have fun pretending to surf, ride scooters, and act like a dolphin, while they expand their vocabulary and improve strength, flexibility, and coordination. The simple text makes the book accessible for a variety of ages and invites readers to have conversations about what they see in the illustrations. This provides great opportunities for storytelling and language development. While reading, we had a long conversation about the waterfall picture and about the concept of surfing. The watery illustrations full of cheerful colors and reflect the relaxed vibe of an island vacation throughout the story. Overall, we found Hello, Bali to be an inviting and active adventure we are sure your little reader will enjoy.

I really love the format of these kids yoga books, and Hello, Bali is no exception. The illustrations are gorgeous, whimsical, and fun! The text is clean and simple while at the same being packed with information. This book would be a great introduction into a study of Bali as it touches briefly on many different aspects of life and culture in Bali. The yoga also flows seamlessly with the text. It feels like it absolutely should be a part of learning about Bali and not at all like a tacked-on extension activity. The Indonesian phrases included at the end are also a lot of fun and a good way to extend the learning from this book.

Having lived in Bali for four years, my family really enjoyed this book. We were able to follow the author's journey and were able to recognize the places she had visited. The book does present a very white-washed picture of life in Bali, but I think that's okay for a children's book, and my children certainly enjoyed the literary journey back to a place they called home for a time.

As a yoga fanatic, I am beyond thrilled with this book. I believe that it is never too early to introduce kids to the benefits of yoga, and different cultures and places.

This was a charming book with a good balance of rhythm, storytelling, and great illustrations. Each page showed a fun way to connect different beginner yoga moves with the story. This book takes reading to a higher level - making it an active adventure. Perfect for the toddler years.

What really drove my rating up was the information included in the back of the book. It was nice to have a page that detailed all the poses from the book as well as the local language. It's little things like that that make this book special and worth adding to your library.

5 stars!

Well, I love Bali, and I try to love yoga! I enjoyed this book–how the author intertwined a story with the simple yoga poses. The illustrations were great, the writing simple and easy for kids to understand. I liked how the author infused the Balinese culture into the book. Makes me want to go back to Bali! And maybe do some yoga too :D

If you have a kid who’s interested in yoga, or if you want to get your kids interesting, get them this book. Easy to follow, easy to read, this book will get your kids up and moving!

Read this with my son and quite enjoyed it. He's too young to sustain the poses, or at least pay attention long enough to sustain one. It was a great workout for me and makes me want to get into yoga. =)

We have had the pleasure of reviewing Good Night Animal World, another Kids Yoga Stories picture book by Giselle Shardlow earlier this year. Hello Bali continues in the same vein offering an introduction to yoga poses that can easily be done by children as well as a glimpse into the culture of beautiful Bali.

When my kids were little, we all did yoga together as a family and the Kids Yoga Stories provide an excellent introduction to some of the more common yoga poses such as the triangle pose, chair pose, cobbler’s pose, resting pose among many others. In each of the stories, the author uses a piece of the landscape to provide a model for the pose, which is then depicted in a bubble at the bottom of the page as well as in an “index”of poses in the back of the book. So, for example, on the page introducing the “Dancing Ganesha” pose, there is an image of two Indonesian dancers to help children visualize how their body should be shaped when in this pose.

As with all Kids Yoga Stories books, there is a section at the back of the book providing an introduction to the practice of yoga. Parents, teachers, caregivers and so on are provided with tips regarding safety considerations, the use of props, teaching children to breathe and relax as well as so much more information. This section is an excellent add-on.

Hello Bali is filled with beautiful imagery associated with the landscapes of Bali such as the ocean, the jungles, waterfalls, mountains, and more as well as aspects of the Indonesian culture such as the markets, the dancers, temples and more. These are used as a backdrop for the introduction of individual poses. At the back of the book, the author included a simple map of Bali, a lexicon introducing the numbers 1 to 20 in Indonesian as well as some simple Indonesian phrases, “halo” (hello), “selamat pagi” (good morning), “nama saya” (my name is…). All in all, Hello Bali is a lovely, albeit, simple introduction to Bali.

My Bottom Line:

Hello Bali is a unique and educational picture book combining an introduction for children (and their caregivers) to yoga poses with a peek into the landscapes, language, and culture of Bali. The illustrations are delightful, the text is simple, and the yoga poses are well-depicted. The add-ons in the back of the book make this a must-have for any children’s library. I highly recommend Hello Bali as well as the other Kids Yoga Stories by Giselle Shardlow to children ages 2.5 and older.

As an Indonesian who has never been to Bali, a beginner in yoga thing, and an illustrated-children-book lover, I found this book was totally fun and helpful.

The poses were simple and easy to follow, and by giving the illustration and information about the pose, which was based on things Anamika found while she's on the adventure, I can help myself to imagine the actual pose. Those simple poses were helpful and applicable, especially for me who often sit in front of computer all day (and night, too).

When my niece and nephew came over, we read it, practiced the poses together and had fun with it. They laughed when they have to pose just like the mountain, swimmers, animals, etc. So I guess even for older children (they're 9 and 7 years old), this book can give so much fun, too. The English was pretty simple that my niece, who's already learn a bit of English, understood it pretty well. Even my nephew grasped the idea based on the informative and easy to understand illustration, though its style was not pretty special for me.
Also, by following the adventure of Anamika in every page, I can also explain them a little to my niece and nephew about Bali, and what you can find there, so that next time they (we) get a chance to go there, we know what it's going to be like.

I enjoyed the information about basic language in the back of the book. And the Parent-Teacher Guide part, I loved it! It helps me to remember what I should do to help young readers like my niece and nephew to gain more info based on what they're reading. It also help me trigger them with more knowledge.

I have to clarify a bit though, about the English-Indonesian translation in the back of the book. In a digital copy I received (maybe some of you got the same copy), "Welcome" is translated as "Selamat Dating"
The correct one would be: "Welcome" = "Selamat Datang".
I guess you can blame the mistake on the auto-correct mode. :D

For me, it'd be great if there's a simple introduction for kids about what is yoga before the adventure starts. Also, an information about how long you should do the pose? Probably count to 5, or 8, or 10?
Overall, I enjoy this book and got curious about the other series from the author.

This is a fun book!! Anamika is a yoga kid from India who is on vacation in Bali with her family. The story tells what they do and see, like surfing, swimming, watching shopkeepers, villagers, dolphins, farmers and much more. Then there's a simple yoga pose with a picture that shows how to do it. The poses match the story so children will feel like they're acting it out. This is geared towards children ages 2-5. Mine are much older than that but I still wanted to try it out on them to see what they thought. They felt that it was too easy for them but it was still lots of fun!

At the end is a list of the poses with key words, the name of the pose and the picture that demonstrates how to do it. If you're not sure exactly how to do a pose, you can visit their website to get descriptions of each one. There's also a page with Basic Indonesian which tells how to count from 1-20 and say some basic phrases ("Hello," "How are you," etc.). My only complaint is in this section. There's no pronunciation guide and I've never spoken Indonesian and have no idea how it sounds so that section seems useless to me. There's also a Parent-Teacher Guide which is a great resource filled with ideas on how to make the most out of this book.

The story is simple and the illustrations are bright and fun. If you're looking for a book that will get your young children moving without them even realizing it, then this is the book for you!

I received a copy of this book to review. My opinion is 100% my own.

This is the second yoga book from this author, for kids, that I have had the pleasure of reading.
With this book as with her other books, you meet kids that take the reader on an adventure. This time it is Anamika who is from India.

With each page turn there are a few words and very bold colorful pictures. In a circle located on the right lower side the reader finds Anamika who is demonstrating a yoga position for kids to follow. This of course relates to the words that have been read on each page. Key words bolded in dark letters match these yoga poses.

I really love how this book as well as her entire series of books encourages kids to do things in a three-fold manner. That is read, exercise, and imagine. In the case of this book, they get to "travel" to somewhere they may never have been.

A nice addition that Ms. Shardlow has in her books is the parent-teacher guide in the back of her books. She re-lists all of the keywords along with the name of the pose and a demonstration of the pose.

A fun thing I loved most about this book was that Ms. Shardlow also included the numbers as well as phrases in English with Indonesian translation. For example: the number 10 is pronounced as Sepuluh.

This book is targeted for 2-5 year olds which is spot on because of the simplicity of the words and poses.

5 stars! Sampai jumpa.Terima kasih. (Translation: See you later. Thank you.)

What a sheer delight this book is. The warm, colorful illustrations immediately engaged me and will engage all readers – or those to whom we read. The style of this book is so inviting with its friendly introduction. This leads right into an easy-to-follow style where the reader is delightfully drawn into the beautiful world of yoga. One can’t help but say aloud – “Hello Sun!” – while simply trying out the easy-to-do Extended Mountain Pose! This book is so captivating. In no time at all, readers will be delighted in the beautiful illustrations and will find themselves turning page into page and trying each little pose. Along with the names of yoga poses are real-life associations with each pose -- to which any reader can relate. For example, there is the little happy surfer leading us right into the classic Warrior yoga pose. And what about the sailboat? That leads us easily into the Triangle pose. We just can’t help but love yoga and want to “assume” a pose.

This is not only a fabulous introduction – or review – of yoga, but the author also leads us into the world of Indonesian language of basic phrases and numbers. How delightful. There is also of list of kids’ yoga poses, all in one easy place along with a parent-teacher guide, yet all presented in a delightfully simple and engaging way.

Looking back after reading this yesterday, the book is still making me smile. I can’t wait to recommend it!

We are big fans of the first book "Good Night Animal World", and this time we journey to Bali, where we ride the waves with the surfers, line up with the sail boats along the horizon, slip into the cool ocean to join the swimmers, and dance with the ladies dressed in traditional Balinese clothes. We zip past the shop keeps on scooters, visit mountains waterfalls and peaceful temples. We swim with dolphins, plant rice in a muddy field, groom monkeys at the zoo and bike home for a sun bake in the afternoon sun.

Another awesome kid friendly yoga story. Every illustration is vibrant and eye catching and the Yoga poses that accompany each step on our adventure are simple and very easy for children to copy. There is a great summary of the yoga poses at the end, as well as a Map of Bali and a fun list of numbers and sayings written in both English and Indonesian. This is a great tool to help children to increase their vocabulary, as well as have a little taste of another culture.

We loved this second installment, and I would highly recommend this as a great tool to help motivate children aged 3-6 to get active and involved in exercise.

Say good day to the magical island of Bali! Join Anamika, one of the Yoga Kids, as she travels with her family to Bali, Indonesia. Surf like a surfer, dance like a Balinese dancer, and sit like a monkey.

"Hello, Bali" is a delightful picture book by Giselle Shardlow - in fact, one of the most delightful that I have come across. Emily Gadzyk has also done a wonderful job with the illustrations, which are colourful and appealing to children. As an EAL teacher I was thrilled by the fact that the book embraces multi-cultural issues. At the outset I wasn't convinced about the yoga element, but as we read the book the value of this became apparent. With clear illustrations and instructions, the yoga poses are introduced through a delightful story - reading and exercise all in one! The repetition is great for young readers and those new to English. The book includes a list of Kids Yoga Poses, map of Bali, basic Indonesian phrases, and a Parent-Teacher Guide with tips on creating a successful yoga experience. I particularly liked the bi-lingual greetings at the end of the book.

I will definitely be using this in the classroom, and I would highly recommend it to you all.

Although a trip to the tropical island of Bali is probably not in my family's future, we loved getting to see some of it in Hello Bali. The illustrations are gorgeous, and the details are simple, so our daughters - ages 2 and 3 - fell in love. They've tried yoga before, so they were prepared to try the poses in the book. As you can imagine, laughter followed, which is one of my favorite ways to read a book.
As a Kids Yoga Island Adventure Book, Hello Bali not only includes the yoga poses, but also some easy phrases in Indonesian, along with the translation of numbers. It's always fun for preschoolers to work on something new and exotic to them.
The illustrations though, really made this book for me. They verge on the quality of exquisite watercolors and are luscious to see. The girls liked seeing different parts of nature and then mimicking the poses as seen in the book.
Although this book is great for preschoolers, if you really want your child to learn some yoga, it'd be better for those already reading on their own.

The book cover is cute and sunny!. It will catch the attention of toddlers for whom this book is designed. The book follows a kid called Anamika, who travels to Bali with her family and her experiences there. The author has taken care to keep the wordings very simple and sentences short. More than being just a children’s book and looking cute, this one is very educational. It teaches basic yoga poses, ones that kids can practice on their own. I myself am not knowledgeable when it comes to yoga and I found it very interesting to read.

The illustrations really help too. I should say Emily has done a great job. They are just so gorgeous and colorful. It shows various scenes of Bali. This book also tries to teach you basic Indonesian language. Such a fun way of learning a new language!. This book also contains a Parent – Teacher guide. This is a perfect book for parents to read to their kids. It teaches kids to be active and learn new things!

Follow along with Anamika as she travels with her family on a holiday around Bali. They visits the beach, the shops, the waterfalls, the mountains, and the statues. They observe Balinese dancers, villagers, farmers, children, dolphins, and monkeys. They conclude that Bali is a beautiful place.

Throughout the story, Anamika demonstrates fifteen yoga poses, each of which relates to a keyword in the text (e.g., surfers, dancers, monkeys). The poses are summarized at the end of the book. There is also a map of Bali showing the capital city of Denpasar. You can learn to speak some basic Indonesian, including the numbers from 1 to 20, and twelve basic phases such as "How are you?" and "Good morning". Also included is a Parent-Teacher Guide featuring some handy hints on how to use the book.

The bright and colorful illustrations by Emily Gedzyk beautifully complement the simple text, making this book ideal for young children.

This fun and educational book is one to enjoy with the whole family.

Books that kids can listen to and look at are great, but ones they can even move to are have an extra bonus. My daughter loved watching the easy to understand yoga positions at the bottom corners of the page and was more than ready to try them too. . .the 2nd time through. The first time through the book, she was engaged with the colorful pictures as they described an island she'd never heard of. It was a nice, simple flash into an unknown culture, which definitely left her with an impression. Since her brother asked right away where Bali is, I was more than thrilled to see a small drawing of the island at the end of the book. However, it would have been nice if there was some sort of a world map around it to help him understand where it really is.
The added language translations at the end were fun and my kids enjoyed repeating them.
The only thing which bothered both of them was the 'hello. . .' on every section. Both of them found that a little too redundant. Still, they loved this book! And we'll definitely be peeking into it again.

This is the second opportunity I have had to review one of Giselle's books and I must say I am just as impressed with Hello, Bali as I was with the first one! The illustrations are always colorful and very cute to appeal to children. There are not a lot of words, so it is very easy for younger children to read and understand. And I love the way that exercise is brought together with fun because it is something that kids need to learn :) The exotic locale of this book is amazing and of course Giselle adds the numbers 1-20 in Indonesian as well as some illustrations of interactions in the native language.

These exercises are so easy and fun for children to learn and do - my daughter LOVES to try each exercise and she loves to try to tell the story just by looking at the pictures :) Another 5 star book from Giselle!

WOW! Let me start out by saying that this book is just so bright and wonderfully illustrated. The pages are so inviting with their bright, vibrant colors. I love that while you are given the yoga pose, there is also a story being told. Anamika, the girl shown above doing the Dancing Ganesha, is on vacation in Bali with her family. While the story proceeds you get to see all the beautiful sites they visit while getting in some exercise. That's a win/win if you ask me. Yang, my 9 year old daughter, has Sensory Processing Disorder and I have Fibromyalgai, so we do yoga often. Yang enjoyed the story and the bright pictures as well. As a homeschooling mother I took advantage of the map in the back. We located Indonesia and Bali on our world map, and went over the Indonesian words in the back. Hello, Bali is not something that we will only be coming back to for the yoga but the story and culture of this beautiful book.

This is a really fun book. I think adults will love this book as much as kids do, at least I know I did. The story was interesting and each little paragraph had a yoga pose illustration so you could see how to do it. One example was “Children bike home from their village school. Hello, children”. Then there was a drawing of how to do the knees to chest pose like you do riding a bike.

I loved learning the English/Indonesian word comparisons. One I learned was Good morning/Selamat pagi. You also learn how to pronounce the Indonesian words for counting from 1 – 20.

The illustrations were big, bold and colorful. At the end of the book is a list of links for parents and teachers that would come in handy for those who wanted to learn more.

The book is targeted toward children 2-5, but I think anyone wound enjoy reading and learning from this book.

This is a cute book that teaches basic yoga poses for preschool aged children, along with some language learning (Indonesian) and map of Bali at the back of the book. There is also a teacher's guide for parents or adults to aid them in teaching a group of little ones the poses in the story.

The illustrations are simple, yet colorful and fun for very young children to enjoy. The story is written in simple and easy to understand language for preschoolers, and has fun and simple illustrations to go with each yoga pose throughout the story.

Cute book for teaching little ones basic yoga and introducing them to another culture at the same time.

I’m not the best at Yoga but I do try and I really enjoyed teaching my son at a young age. Now, does he still do Yoga? Well..no (He’s 10 now) but hope to get back to teaching him again soon. Hello, Bali is a delightful book for younger children and I love that it even includes a list of kids yoga poses. Even those who are not familiar with yoga, will be able to learn these poses. It’s a fun book for kids and they will enjoy following Anamika (one of the Yoga Kids) on her adventure in Bali, Indonesia. I also love that it is an educational book and includes a Parent-Teacher Guide and even a Map of Bali. My son enjoyed checking out the map. Best for younger children ages 2-5 but can also be appreciated by anyone who likes yoga. Highly recommend this book.

Yoga is all the rage today, and it is fantastic exercise that will help to stretch muscles, promote relaxation, and tone up the muscles. Children need to get started on the right path to physical fitness, and this is one book that will do it. The illustrations are absolutely amazing, and the fact that yoga poses are related to things kids already know makes the book truly engaging. If you have a preschool/kindergarten child, this would be an ideal book to read with them. There is additional information in the back of the book about Bali (I loved reading all those interesting facts)and the yoga poses. I highly recommend this book.

I was sent a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. I was not financially compensated, and all opinions are 100 percent mine.

I would recommend Hello, Bali to anyone who wants to introduce their kids to yoga or Bali. The simplicity of the story seems to be more appropriate for younger kids but I think that for a slightly older child that is interested in either yoga or learning about other cultures and languages (like my own son) this would make a good introduction.

My 7 year old actually enjoyed doing the yoga poses more than my 5 year old. What we liked most was that at the end of the book you could learn some basic Indonesian phrases and numbers.

The author does a great job of matching the poses to the different things seen on the island and the illustrations are colorful, bright, and fun.

I received a free ecopy of this book for an honest review.

Hello, Bali is full of colorful illustrations. Each one fills the page and should keep the attention of younger children.

This book teaches children’s yoga. For each pose there is a cute picture. At the bottom of the page is a short description of the picture next to the name and picture of the pose.

I really like the references at the end of the book. It has a complete list of the kids’ yoga poses that were in the book, a short English to Indonesian guide, and a parent teacher guide.

This is a great book for parents to read with their children of all ages.
