[Pat]

A fascinating book about a brilliant woman code breaker and musicologist who fought against bias against women doing war work during the World Wars and after. However groundbreaking their work and how vital it was to winning the wars their work was underpaid and underrated. As brilliant as her codebreaking was, she also went onto be acclaimed for her work on Mozart and Beethoven.
So women’s work has been lost to history it is so wonderful to discover their amazing stories.

[Josie Penfold]

A very detailed account of a very interesting woman and her life. Did I need so much detail about her? Probably not, but I’m still glad I read it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

[Jamie Emerson]

A very straightforward and readable biography.
