Nothing is more important than winning the hockey championship cup.
Or, so I thought.
I purchased the San Antonio Hyenas when they were the worst team in the league.
Now, we're playing for the cup. We're playing for it all.
It's all I've ever wanted.
Until I met her.
Seeing her for the first time was like a bolt of lightning striking my heart.
She was perfect. She was everything.
She was the rival owner of the Cincinnati Vipers, the team we're facing in the finals.
She's the one woman I should stay away from.
The one woman who should be off limits.
But I can't help myself.
I can't stop myself.
But she's as ruthless as I am.
Is this really love, or a sinister mind trick to throw me off my game?
I guess I'll find out because I can't stay away from her no matter how hard I try.
Game on.

The thrilling conclusion to The San Antonio Hyenas series featuring hockey's hottest silver fox owner, Brantley VanMorgan. This is book six and although books 1-5 can be read as standalones, this one is best read after reading the others.

Safe insta-love at its finest with no cheating and a super sweet HEA always guaranteed.

I'm sorry, but this last book is absolutely the cringiest in the entire series. 🫣

I just couldn't get into the romance since it felt way too rushed. Although I'm aware that insta-love is a common theme in this series, these two really amp it up in a way that's hard to grasp. It was just so crazy that I couldn't help but scratch my head in confusion. They went from 0 to 100 in mere seconds. 🤔

Don't even get me started on that 34-year-old virgin FMC. 🤦‍♀️

Listen, I want a dual V in my novellas, but even I can see how absurd that would be for this pair. Brantley is 52, and Riley is 34. They’re not that young, so I would totally get it if they’ve got some experiences under their belt. But that isn't the case at all. We still have an innocent heroine, like come on, whyyyy??? 😩 That's so ridiculous! 😒🙄

Ugh, I wasn't really sure what I was expecting from this last book, but I can definitely say this wasn't it. And if I'm being honest, it was pretty disappointing to say the least. 🤧

I always get sucked in by the soulmate, love at first sight, safety of these books. But then I remember that they’re a little cringey and so fast paced that I sadly don’t enjoy them as much as I want to. 🥲

I loved The Owner Book 6 of The San Antonio Hyenas. What a great ending to this series. The owner of the Hyenas didn’t need love until he saw Riley, owner of the Vipers, and he was done. He knew she was going to be his and his forever. He just needed to make sure she was on the same page. It’s tricky when you both own a sports team but he doesn’t care, he knows she’s it for him and he would give up everything for love. Thank goodness that Riley feels the same. I loved the storyline and the characters. I’m sad the series is over but this was a great way to end. I would definitely recommend this book.

Brantley is a billionaire and the owner of the San Antonio Hyenas hockey team. The team started out as the lowest team in the league and have finally made it to the finals. Brantley has given up on finding a woman since all of them have been more interested in his money. Riley is the owner of the Cincinnati Vipers hockey team and the rivals of San Antonio. The moment that Brantley sees Riley he knows that she is the one for him. The chemistry is off the charts but will Brantley and Riley be able to make a go of a relationship? Will Brantley and Riley find love and happiness?

Bratley & Riley

I liked other books in the series but this one has things that bothered me.

It’s insta-love which I love and Bratley is very alpha and dominant in anything he wants but is also sweet and caring with Riley.
The thing I really hated was the reminder that he is experienced even though he says he stays away from women because of their personal interests (for his money etc). But then he says something like: (talking about Riley) “moaning like a w*ore”. I mean how does he know how one sounds like? And how can you compare the sound of his woman with that?
It killed the book for me.

SAFE-ish

- age gap: about 20 years
- ow/om: nope
- separation/breakups: no
- cheating/sharing: nope
- possible triggers: no
- HEA: yes

My reviews always contain spoilers, I write them so I can remember the story.

Brantley is the 52 year old owner of the San Antonio Hyenas, he bought the team with the worst winning record and turn them around to be contenders for the Stony Cup. (We met many of the players in their own story’s in this series.)
Riley is the 34 year old new owner of the Cincinnati Vipers. She inherited the team when her father passed, she has been with her father at the Viper organization since she was seven learning everything about the team. She has been calling the shots since she turned thirty when her father was diagnosed with cancer. He was still the face of the organization but she was running things for the last four years. Her Viper’s are now in the playoffs for the Stoney Cup.
They meet at game one of the playoffs. Riley knew of Brantley and finds him very handsome, he’s seeing her for the first time and he is instantly in love. He must have her. After the game, which the Vipers win, he asks her to dinner and they share their first kiss and first time at her penthouse. She’s a virgin and he’s been celibate a long time. This was disappointing, I was excited that we were given a more mature couple, so it wouldn’t have been odd if she wasn’t a virgin. Is it possible to be a 34 year old virgin, sure, but it just seemed unnecessary in a story of an older woman. And he took to much glee in her being one and he being her first and only.
Vipers lose game two, Riley thinks they should break up, he convinces her that he’s all in and is not being with her to distract her, he’s equally as distracted and they have sex in her office.
The teams are tied 3-3 and they are headed to game 7. Lots of pregame I love yous and Brantley proposes, Riley says yes. He asks her to join him in his box to watch the game and she agrees.
The Hyenas win the Stoney cup, Riley is sad her team lost but happy for Brantley. Brantley is upset she’s sad but happy for his boys. Epilogue, they support each other for thirty years with both teams winning the cup multiple times. They are both inducted in the hockey hall of fame and have three kids together.
Cute premise but the fans and the media would have tore them apart in real life, rival teams in the playoffs and the two owners are sleeping together? Yikes! Plus how did they live together, his team is in Texas and her team is in Ohio?

I waited for this final book of the SUPER AWESOME “The San Antonio Hyenas” series. Let me say, it was DEFINITELY worth the wait.
If you haven’t already found this WONDERFUL, STEAMY series, you are so lucky to have found it now. Each book is a DELIGHTFUL standalone, with no cliffhangers, but I suggest reading them in order before treating yourself to the ULTIMATE PLEASURE of “The Owner”.

The author has taken painstaking care to keep with the roots of the series, and mentioned each main character from the previous 5 books in this STELLAR finale.

All the characters have such depth and dimension and have become the best book friends I have. Each LOVE STORY had me learning some hockey info, savoring the steamy love scenes, and thinking back on the couples often.

If you are searching for the perfect gift for a book loving friend, your sister, mom, your grandmother, or yourself, please, look no further. Buy your loved one or yourself this series. I guarantee you will reread them and enjoy them even more the second time around.
The epilogues are the sweetest, most tender, most beautiful epilogues of any books I have ever read. They tell us about the couples well into the future….like when they are grandparents like me. How scrumptious and delicious is that? (Don’t say “ewes, like my adult daughter does when I mention the desire I still have for my husband of 40 years.)

Love is beautiful.
Finding your true soulmate is the most precious gift in the world, and Olivia T. Turner has given us 6 glorious couples that survive against all odds, and still love each other decades later.

O Dono Do Time

Ok, not gonna lie, I was sniffling. This is the...sigh...final story in this series. A hockey series about a group of men coming back from failure for some to achieve greatness and all find love along the way. The writing is great and this is a full story and these characters are all so fun. Now we get the owner's turn to find love. The match he had was truly his match like all the other great women in this series. She is his ideal.

They may own two different teams, making them rivals, but they don't let that stop them from falling in love.

She is a strong woman and he is a strong man and neither overshadowed one another. The chemistry was great, sexy and beautiful. The cameos from the others was wonderful, I love having them all together especially since this was the last book. I received my ARC for free but I volunteer this review. They had an impossible relationship it seemed, both wanted their boys to win. But they balanced their needs and wants very well and though there is a rivalry, of course, this is sports! It was done so well. And the HEA! Oh, that's where my sadness came. The memories were wonderful and beautiful and it was a great way and a natural way to end this series. In my head, they're all still together as a team! I can't wait to see where OTT will send us next!

This was the 6th and final book in this fabulous series. We've watched the Hyenas from conception through the completion of their first post-season. It was a he!! of a ride!!Brantley has always come off as caring yet detached emotionally. That all turned on its head in this book, as he was the one who found himself enamored with a woman. Oh, and she was not just any woman. Nu-uh, nope. He couldn't do anything so simple. He went all out and fell hard and fast for the enemy CEO. Riley was an ideal match to Brantley in regard to her determination and dedication. She was raised to take up the mantle- and she did it with style. The chemistry between these two was combustible and white hot. The looming question remains: can you successfully build a relationship with your rival? They definately have fun trying, that's for sure!😉

I was fortunate to receive an advanced copy of this book and voluntarily provided this review. Happy Reading Y'all 📚

No Losers in this Competition

Brantley VanMorgan and Riley MacIntosh have a serious case of insta-love, and I really enjoyed this over-the-top novelette.

After that kiss, the dirty thoughts kept coming. I kept fantasizing about this man bending me over my desk and pulling up my dress. I would have let him if he had tried. There’s no limit to what I would have let him do to me.
-- Riley MacIntosh

It's a fast paced read with some hockey thrown in. I love that Riley is a BOSS as she leads her team, but quickly realizes that she needs a different dynamic away from it. It's definitely spicy fun!

I was disappointed that there was only one epilogue. OTT has spoiled me into expecting at least two. I'll survive begrudgingly, I suppose. 😏

No prior series reading is required, but we do get to check in on the prior couples.

H = 52; h = 34

Champions All the Way !! . . .

This author is a “class act” who always gives us the very best, and this concluding story in the series is awesome. The hot silver fox owner of the San Antonio Hyenas, Brantley VanMorgan, lives and breathes hockey. His team is outstanding. Then he meets Riley MacIntosh, owner of the Cincinnati Vipers whom Brantley’s team is facing in the finals. Her father was also one of those legendary owners… and she follows closely in his footsteps. You know right away that this will be a battle beyond expectations for the championship as each is very serious about their team’s victory. Both had always been focused strictly on hockey in the past; but the attraction between the two of them is over the top! Neither will yield any ground to the other… at least until the big game is won!

a sweet ending to the series

This book covers the owners of the Hyenas as he falls in love with his new rival, the owner of the Cincinnati Vipers. It started hot then turned sweet. I will say it’s definitely NOT a good standalone book. I highly recommend reading at least several books of the series first. The author does not take the time to thoroughly introduce every character as they appear (that’d triple the length of the book, to be frank). The other books can be standalones if you’re only interested in them, but this book is truly the epilogue to the series, not an independent work.

My only “complaint” was that the entire final game is seen from Brantley’s POV. I was hoping we’d get a few moments of Riley’s POV somewhere in there, but we didn’t.

Cute book, a nice wrap up to the series.

This was the perfect conclusion (so far) to the San Antonio Hyenas series. If you haven’t read the series you don’t need to but they’re all enjoyable reads so have at it.

This book focuses on the owner Brantley. He purchased the team and then built it back from scratch by stacking it with incredible players.

Riley is the owner of their biggest competition. She inherited the team from her grandfather but has been managing it for over 2 years while his health declined.

This was a super cute story between two professionals who were respectful of each other in a very complicated situation. I admire the authors way of creating conflict without having big blow outs or dramatic arguments between the main characters. The book was fast paced but didn’t feel rushed and the HEA was wonderful.

Hyenas V Vipers

Enemies on the ice, but instant love off it. The heat between Riley and Brantley almost melts the ice their teams play on and it will definitely make your kindle sizzle! But as steamy and sexy as this is, it is the beauty of seeing two genuinely nice, down to earth (despite their wealth) people finding love and a connection that they never thought possible, that makes this book so enjoyable. We have joined most of the Hyenas Team as they have taken the crazy ride to love, so it is only right that the owner who poured his heart and soul into recreating the team and making it great again, is rewarded with a forever love, with a soul mate who understands him perfectly, has a mutual respect and has him acting like a teenager with his first crush! Fantastic!

Brantley is the owner of the San Antonio Hyenas hockey team believes nothing is more important than winning the championship cup. He bought the worst team in the league, signed a bunch of talent and they are now playing for the cup. It is the end all to be all but then he sees her. The new owner of the rival team, Cincinnati Vipers, Riley. He should stay away but there is no way he is going to be able to stop himself. Riley is a kindred spirit, just as dedicated and ruthless as he is.

Can these rivals have something lasting or is it just a fleeting moment? This was a great addition to the series, put more of a human side on Brantley.

Okay so I just have to say that I absolutely love this story and how romantic the MMC is and yes, they fell in love in one day and found themselves soulmates but who doesn't want that lol the reason I can't give it a five is because game seven there's a situation about the owner's box and seating that isn't realistic in my opinion and would have caused one of the teams to get bad vibes or juju or whatever you want to call it because players are superstitious.. and without giving away what it is if an owner did that during that important game, I think it would kill the vibe on the ice. So other than that scene which was sweet and wonderful by the way but not realistic, other than that scene it was a great story.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the sixth and final book in the San Antonio Hyenas series. In this book, Riley and Brantley are owners of rival hockey teams and when they meet, Brantley is shocked to find he is stunned by Riley. Brantley is older and knows Riley is the one when he first sees her. Riley had inherited the team from her father and has to prove herself as an owner, but she can't help falling for Brantley. They have to work out a relationship while keeping their professional rival from coming between them. I really loved this book. I love the instant love between them and how they both felt the chemistry right away. I thought this was a great end to a great series.

Another brilliant Hyenas book.

Brantley is the owner of the hockey club the Hyenas. While his team are playing the rival hockey team the Cincinnati Viper, Brantley meets the owner Riley. From the start these two have chemistry and are attracted to each other from the start. Brantley had believed he would never fall or know love. But meeting Riley he is falling fast and hard. Riley feels the same. The two of them are sexy and brilliant together.
A brilliant way to finish this wonderful series, chemistry, steam, romance and brilliant characters.

Two rival owners falling for each other in the middle of the most important games of the season?! SIGN ME UP.
These two were so cute, even when the circumstances were against them. Brantley was a supportive partner even if it was going against what he had been working for, and Riley was a badass female owner, the one and only in the field. They both had a lot to lose, but ended up wining in the end.
I'm so sad this is the last book in the series, I can't wait for more sports romances from Olivia... how about football next? Just saying...

Again, so thankful I get to be part of the ARC team, but my opinions are all my own and unbiased.

Now we get the story of how the owner of the San Antonio Hyenas finds his HEA after a bunch of his players found theirs. Brantley stayed away from women and thought he would die as a bachelor. But that changes when he meets the owner of the Cincinnati Vipers Riley. He sees her and is instantly sure that she will be his. These two fell head over heels for each other, but now their teams are playing against each other in the finals. But Brantley just cares about his woman and her happiness 😊. Instalove, age gap (she 34/he 52), sweet, steamy, OTT, romantic and safe with an awesome HEA and no drama😍😍😍😍

This was an amazing story. I loved this series and was thrilled to read about Brantley and the woman who would claim his heart. Brantley is the owner of the San Antionio Hyenas and has taken the worst team in the NHL to one of the best. They are playing for the cup against the Cincinnati Vipers. He sees Riley and can't believe his luck. He has found the woman who would be his. Riley is the new owner of the Vipers. This is not the best time for a relationship for either of them but love has other plans. Will they get their happily ever after?

I tried to read it but once we got introduced to Riley who is a ball busting, can do everything (literally everything) a man can do but better I lost interest.... and the first time Brantley sees her? He's already ready to get on his hands and knees while she walks all over him in stilettos. I'm really not into these books. So I like strong women? Yes, but there is strength and then there is ... this, making a woman good at anything and everything. It throws off the dynamic between characters and makes it harder to read a book like that. So yeah.. 38% in and I just couldn't be bothered anymore, which is saying a lot when you realize the book is only 72 pages and I gave up at 38%.

Final installment of Olivia's high heat, instalove, hockey romance series the San Antonio Hyenas.
We finish with Brantley owner of the hyenas and Riley the owner of the rival team The vipers.
Instant connection between the two finds, them at odds on the ice but connected off.
High heat, dual pov writing, spice, pure love, alpha male lead, he falls fast and hard, virgin female lead, hockey romance, standalone within a series (but definitely read the previous five as it sets it nicely), HEAs.
