The Unofficial Harry Potter Character Series

Malfoy: The Fall and the Fate of the Wizarding World's Most Treacherous Family

Rate this book
With his very first sneer, Draco Malfoy is established as the school bully of the Harry Potter series. But how did Draco become so detestable? What was inherited from his parents, and what is unique to him among the Malfoy clan? And what was he thinking all those times when he picked fights with Harry, Ron, or Hermione?

Malfoy analyzes Draco throughout his seven years at Hogwarts, as his role in the series grew in prominence. At the same time, Lucius Malfoy and Narcissa Malfoy have their own stories play out, forever scheming and plotting to advance the family’s interests… even when they’re in conflict with each other.

Bestselling author Irvin Khaytman dives deep into the Malfoys’ deeds to answer the two central questions about Draco that remain after Deathly Hallows: Is he redeemable? And was he redeemed?

Thank you Netgalley and Tantor Media for an ALC of Malfoy (The Fall and the Fate of the Wizarding World's Most Treacherous Family: An Unofficial Exploration) by Irvin Khaytman.

One of the easiest reviews I've given in my life. This is definitely a "must" for any real Harry Potter fan, no matter the house the hat put you in.

Why? Because it's different and stylistically unique. Making it necessary for any true Harry Potter collection. While most fan works use the imagination, this uses facts to argue a case. Almost giving it a debate type of feel. This would be an extremely fun book to interview on because while facts are used there is also room for varying opinions since some factual actions can still be left open to interpretation. I know I will definitely be adding a hardcopy to my collection.

Is Draco really a bad guy? Or a product of his environment? .. you be the judge.. but read this first!

Until next time,

Audiobook publishing January 20, 2026

Thanks to NetGalley and RBmedia for the advance listening copy of “Malfoy” in exchange for my honest review.

This was such a niche book, but I actually really enjoyed it! I’ve always been a huge fan of Draco Malfoy, and this was right up my alley. The author, Irvin Khaytman, goes through each of the seven Harry Potter books, discusses each time Draco is mentioned, and analyzes his character through his words, actions, and motivations. He also discusses Draco’s parents, Lucius and Narcissa, in depth.

The book was interesting and well-written. I liked how, in every conclusion Khaytman reached, he provided textual evidence from the books and didn’t form theories out of thin air or draw from the movies. I didn’t agree with every point he made, but I could see his reasoning clearly. There were times when it got a bit repetitive, and I lost interest in the Quidditch appendix at the end, but otherwise I really liked it.

I listened to the audiobook, and the narrator did a fantastic job. My only complaint is that hearing every page citation and reference got a bit annoying. For that reason, it might be better to read the book rather than listen to it.

If you’re a Harry Potter fan and want a deep dive into Draco Malfoy’s character, I highly recommend this book.

As a huge Draco Malfoy fan, I really enjoyed this audiobook. It finally gives Draco the spotlight he deserves. The book gives a deep-dive analysis of Draco and the entire Malfoy family, with much needed attention given to Narcissa (one of my girls🖤).

I loved the informational, well-researched setup. The narrator was excellent and kept the content engaging.

That said, it loses a star for the constant citations and references. They became repetitive and disrupted the smooth flow of the audiobook.

Overall, I’d definitely recommend this to any Harry Potter fan even if Draco isn’t your favorite. It adds insight and a fresh perspective on the wizarding world.

Thank you RBmedia & NetGalley for the ALC!

Ever wanted to read an academic deep dive into literature where fanfiction is a primary source? Yeah. Me neither. But here we are.

Malfoy follows the Malfoy family through the 7 years of Harry Potter and dissects every interaction and action to answer the question “Is Draco redeemable?”

While it was fun to speculate about this well loved (and hated) character and explore his arcs as he changes throughout the series, and I did enjoy a lot of the interpretation, I found the entire book written with a very clear bias in interpreting the original texts. This is always going to be true in a discussion like this, but it was still jarring and made me question all the conclusions the author has drawn.

I was also very disappointed to hear so many positive references to J.K. Rowling throughout the text. While there is an argument about whether or not you can separate author from work, in an analysis such as this that is solely focusing on the text and not the intention of the author, it was completely unnecessary to bring her into it. As someone who is against her stance on gender conformity, but was still so heavily shaped by the HP world and have continued to find magic in the books, this put a sour taste in my mouth from the outset.

As it is, I think this book, while interesting, just didn’t sit well with my own interpretation of the text, and so I didn’t enjoy it as much as others may.

I did enjoy this, but not as much as his last book on Dumbledore and especially not as much as Lorrie Kim's book on Snape. I think a part of it is that I just don't find Draco's character as compelling or redemptive as Khaytman personally thinks he is (and that's certainly the case with his family as well). Rowling has said as much (see here for example). He does argue that case as well as anyone ever has though. I do like that the author takes it chapter by chapter (e.g., "Draco/Malfoys and the Sorcerer's Stone," "Draco/Malfoys and the Chamber of Secrets," etc.) to help you relive the story through Draco's and his family's eyes in a way (as with the other books in this series). He takes the little that is said of them (comparatively speaking to other characters) and makes a lot out of it (almost 300 pages), but it's quite repetetive IMO (e.g., Draco has a bad dad, Draco thinks his family can get him anywhere he wants, Draco's mother protects him above all other interests in ways you might've missed, Draco's dad is a really bad guy, Voldemort really makes a mockery out of Lucius, etc.).

Still, you'll probably enjoy it if you're a fan of HP literary analysis at a popular level.

P.S. I am left scratching my head at how the Malfoys get a turn in this series before someone like Ron or Hermione. However, I am really anticipating the one on Voldemort coming out later this year.

Thanks to NetGalley for the audiobook!
Always nice to have another proof that Narcissa is the real hero of Harry Potter.

I found the analysis very interesting and thoughtful. The book is well structured, which makes it easy to follow Draco Malfoy’s journey across all seven books. I really appreciated how the author takes the time to explore not only Draco’s actions, but also his thoughts, motivations, and the influence of his family.

The sections about Lucius and Narcissa add important context and help explain how the Malfoy family dynamics shaped Draco into the person we see at Hogwarts. The analysis feels balanced and invites the listener to think more deeply about whether Draco is redeemable and how his story ends.

This is exactly the kind of audio I like to listen to when I want to relax while also diving deeply into a topic I care about. It is engaging, clear, and reflective, making it a very enjoyable listen for Harry Potter fans who enjoy character focused analysis.

This audio book was so fun! It took me a little bit to understand the set up, since it was an audio book. It comes across almost like a podcast, which I loved. The deep dive into Malfoy was everything I needed! They went over all the books, every time Malfoy was even mentioned. I loved the narrator chosen. He read it perfectly.

Another great deep-dive into the Harry Potter world! This is about the Malfoy Family but of course specifically Draco and his arc throughout the series. I love these closer looks and character analysis. I want to take all the referenced essays and make a reference book, lol.

I will say in some regards, Khaytman gets too wordy and stays on a particular point a bit too long and other points he doesn't go quite deep enough. Sometimes it was too surface level without anything thougt-provoking.

This was def a very well researched, deep dive into Draco lol. I wasn’t expecting such an info dump, but this was an interesting listen.

The psychological outlook of everything that played out from the whole series def gives more perspective of the how’s and why’s Draco acted the way he did and did the things he did.

Overall, if you’re a HP fan, you would probably enjoy this. Richard Trinder did a good job narrating.

I don’t know why I haven’t read more literary or character analyses. This was TOTALLY my jam! Draco Malfoy is one of my favorite characters, so this was especially interesting to me. The narrator did a great job doing different voices for all of the character quotes as well, which was a detail I appreciated.

If you are a HP nerd, or just like to read about why characters are the way they are, then you might enjoy this one!

Now this was fun. Almost makes me want to write an entire thesis on Dramione fanfics myself 😀 And pick up a new fanfic.

While not my usual read, I obviously couldn’t pass up on a book entirely about the character Draco Malfoy, especially since, while this focuses on the canon character, the author has read (maybe written 👀) a bunch of fanfics too.

A FUN DEEP DIVE
Honestly, Stormborn Bookshelf said it best. This felt like watching one of those YouTube explanation videos and as such really fed into both my obsession with Draco and my love for completely random research deep dives.

I might have a different stance on a lot of things, such as my opinion on Dumbledore. (A common view that the author also remarked on with an understanding that really made this an incredibly comfortable read, even with our differences in opinion.)
But still, I appreciated the insight and the way the author completely deconstructed Draco’s character development throughout the books. And I didn’t really mind that we came to different conclusions as it was still super interesting to hear the author’s reasonings.

WHERE I HAD A DIFFERENT APPROACH
There is only one thing that I want to mention, since it’s something I noticed on several occasions: While all the deductions and explanations the author gave were reasonable and the causality was traceable, I couldn’t help but feel that some of it was rather superficial.

The conclusions made sense for the arguments and connections pointed out, but - and this is where it will always enter the realm of speculation, I assume -
Meaning, the psychological evaluation felt a bit simple and I personally wouldn’t only have taken the visible family dynamics into account and instead would have looked deeper into the implications for how that will shape and change a child’s/teenager’s values and motives.

MY CONCLUSION
Again, the author did that but more on what felt like a surface level. Which is completely fine btw! This is not a psychological dissertation and I don’t know if either of us has the expert background for an analysis like this, much less for a fictional character.

Plus, I am obviously biased.

So, again, none of this is in any way meant as criticism of the book or the author’s process. If anything, it is an impulse for more deep dives and additional considerations from new angles. (As if I didn’t already spend enough time thinking about Draco 😅)

THE WRITING STYLE
What I also really liked was how the author brought his points across. The writing, in my opinion, hit the perfect spot between theoretical analysis and the comfort of feeling like listening to someone who just really loves the series. Especially in the audiobook version, since this made it even more personal.

One thing I struggle with addressing, as always in this world, is the matter of JKR. I will put this behind a spoiler for those, that do not feel like engaging in this at the moment:

As a life-long fan of everything that is Harry Potter, I was so excited to see this book and could not wait to read (listen) to it! This is a must have book for every HP Fan who felt that Draco Malfoy did not get the ‘book time’ that he deserved and for those that believed there was a lot more depth to his character.

The narrators voice (Richard Trinder) was a perfect casting for this audiobook. Trinder found a way to transport you straight into a lecture room in the halls of Hogwarts and kept me engaged from start to finish!

In Malfoy, Irvin Khaytman explores the inner workings of the wizarding family and takes readers on a journey to try and understand why Draco Malfoy acted the way he did throughout the series. Each theory presented by Khaytman is backed by heavily researched direct quotes from the Harry Potter books themselves as well as lesser known blogs. Listening to this book felt as if I had stumbled across an extended edition dedicated solely to giving Draco Malfoy the spotlight he deserved.

I absolutely loved the chronological structure of this audiobook, the deep dive kicks off from Year 1 at Hogwarts and continued to follow Draco Malfoy throughout his entire time at the wizarding school - focusing on the main questions of why Draco behaved the way he did and could his actions be redeemed. The book does not set out to make you suddenly love Malfoy, in fact, it is presented in such a way that you are given all the tools, arguments and behind the scene moments, and are then given the space to come to your own conclusion.

Thank you to NetGalley & Tantor Media for this opportunity. This wonderful Audiobook comes out January 20th 2026, however if you don’t want to wait, the hardback and ebook are available now.

Malfoy: The Fall and the Fate of the Wizarding World’s Most Treacherous Family: An Unofficial Exploration
By Irvin Khaytman
Narrated by Richard Trinder

So… this is a book where I’d sit back & marvel that someone had this much time to research & write this book. Khaytman sets out to answer the questions: Is Draco redeemable? if so, was he redeemed?

Book review:
- Khaytman goes over each HP book to take a deep dive into & analyze the Malfoy family.
- There’s a thorough analysis of Draco’s character, habits, & beliefs, which are shaped largely in part by Lucius. I liked all the citations to Draco’s clumsy statements, which parroted something Lucius more eloquently states later.
- Although Khaytman isn’t a Draco fan, I liked that he still presented the facts neutrally, so we can make our own judgments.
- I’ve never liked Lucius, but I appreciated the analysis on whether he was a good father.
- This book convinced me that Narcissa is a badass. The discussion of Narcissa’s visit to Snape, which led to the unbreakable vow, highlighted her strengths. She’s competent, quick thinking, & forward planning when it comes to her fierce protection of Draco, loyalty to Lucius, & ambivalence in aligning with Voldemort.
- JKR made her characters so three-dimensional. While Potterheads have noted various inconsistencies with plot holes or random trivia (like who can dole out house points), JKR definitely connected all the dots over the 7 books to develop her characters—as individuals & in relation to each other.

Audiobook review:
- Trinder’s use of distinct voices when quoting different characters made the audiobook engaging.
- He set off parentheticals, citations, and footnotes well without breaking the flow.

Whether you love/hate Draco, this is a fascinating read if you enjoy & are familiar w the series. You’ll get a better understanding of why he is the way he is, have more HP trivia under your belt, & maybe find it in your heart to forgive Draco.

TY NetGalley & Tantor for this ALC!

Academic look at a Potter character.

I've read a lot of academic papers and books in my time, as student, interested reader and librarian. Never have I tried one based on Harry Potter, which felt somehow different. But it's no different to an essay on Mr Darcy, Oliver Twist or Charlotte's Web.

There may be constant references to fans, fan fiction, fan theories. But this remains a serious look at a character in a fictional universe, with citations backing up claims and well-thought-through arguments discussing if Draco Malfoy is as bad as he's painted.

I enjoyed this, unexpectedly. It's not something I've spent much time thinking about, I'll admit. I've read the series two or three times over, not for a few years now (sons read them alone) but I did enjoy sweeping through the seven novels considering evidence for the author's position and multiple questions to us.

It was logical, it made sense, I respected the author's tone of serious academic enquiry. It made a good audio listen (even if he refers to the first book as 'Sorcerer's' Stone rather than 'Philosopher's' - UK niggle.

Children would be able to follow this and appreciate the academic structure and writing I feel, if particularly interested in the topic, making this a gateway dive into the world of serious literary scholarship!

I'm not sure I would want to do this again with other characters, but it was fascinating to see how seriously the subject was taken and its execution was excellent.

With thanks to Netgalley for providing a sample audio copy.

🪄 Overall Vibe Rating

Rating: Enjoyed but Format Didn’t Quite Work
➡️ (solid content, wrong medium)

✨ What This Book Gave Me

• thoughtful analysis of the Malfoy family
• beautifully written and well-researched commentary
• deeper insight into wizarding world politics and legacy

🖤 What I Loved

• The writing itself was strong, clear, and genuinely engaging
• The author’s knowledge and interpretation added depth to familiar characters
• The content felt respectful, intelligent, and well-structured

⚠️ What Didn’t Fully Work for Me

• The audiobook format struggled with frequent source references and footnotes
• Mentions of links and citations pulled me out of the listening experience
• This felt much better suited to a physical or ebook format

🧠 Final Thoughts

While I really enjoyed the content and appreciated the quality of the writing, this didn’t fully work for me as an audiobook. The frequent references to sources and footnotes made it harder to stay immersed while listening. That said, I think this would shine in a written format where you can pause, reflect, and explore the references at your own pace. A solid, thoughtful read — just not my ideal audio experience.

📚 Would I Recommend It?

✔️ Yes, especially if you love:
• literary analysis of the wizarding world
• deep dives into character morality and legacy

❌ Maybe skip the audiobook if you don’t enjoy:
• academic-style references while listening
• frequent source callouts in audio format

🔮 Who Should Read This?

Perfect for readers who love:
✨ character studies
✨ wizarding world lore
✨ thoughtful, critical analysis

I was fortunate enough to have gotten an ALC of the audiobook and it was like a walk through memory lane. Reading Malfoy felt like a return to the late nights spent binge reading the Harry Potter books.

One of the book’s greatest strengths lies in its ability to bridge fandom and actual source material. The discussion of Dramione, in particular, had me giddy. Rather than dismissing it as purely fan driven, Irvin thoughtfully discusses the ship within the framework of canon, examining how it emerges from the text and character development. This approach feels both validating to fans and intellectually grounded. There was also a bit a Drarry mention!

The audiobook narration enhances the experience. The narrator’s delivery is reminiscent of the tone of the original Harry Potter audiobooks, creating an almost immersive continuity between Rowling’s text and Irvin’s analysis. It genuinely felt as though I was listening to an extension of the wizarding world rather than a secondary commentary on it.

This is a very thorough work, each claim is supported with direct quotations and textual evidence, reinforcing the credibility of the character analysis. The breakdown of Draco Malfoy’s interaction, organized book by book and in chronological order allows readers to track his development with clarity and precision. The inclusion of an appendix was also an amazing addition.

Malfoy excels as both an academic examination and a love letter to one of the series’ complex characters.

I wanted to thank Netgalley for this ALC

Not my normal read but the audiobook of Malfoy by Irvin Khaytman was an engaging listen, especially for longtime fans of the Harry Potter series. I really appreciated how often the book referenced and quoted directly from the original seven novels. Since it’s been years since I last read them, hearing those familiar lines again brought a strong sense of nostalgia while also helping to frame the character analysis in a meaningful way.

The narrator deserves special credit here. When quoting dialogue from the Harry Potter books, he did a great job staying true to each character’s voice. Draco, Harry, and others were clearly distinguishable, and his delivery made those moments feel authentic rather than distracting. It added a lot to the listening experience and made the throwback moments especially enjoyable.

That said, while the concept of exploring Draco Malfoy as a character is intriguing, the overall analysis didn’t always go as deep as I hoped. Some sections leaned more toward summarizing familiar plot points rather than offering new insight, and parts of the book felt repetitive.

Overall, this audiobook is a solid listen for fans who want a nostalgic return to the wizarding world paired with thoughtful commentary. It may not be the most groundbreaking character study, but the narration and references make it a worthwhile, if imperfect, experience.

Malfoy is a deeply researched and surprisingly empathetic exploration of the Malfoy family, tracing how power, ideology, and upbringing shape one of the Wizarding World’s most infamous names. Going in, I was already a fan of Tom Felton but not of Draco Malfoy himself, so I did not expect to come away with as much sympathy for Draco as I did. Khaytman’s careful examination of Draco’s childhood and family dynamics makes it difficult to see him as a one-note bully and instead frames him as a product of relentless expectations, fear, and inherited beliefs.

What resonated with me most were the sections on Narcissa Malfoy. Her role as a mother, protective, conflicted, and quietly defiant when it truly matters, hit far harder than I anticipated, likely because I am the parent of teenagers myself. Those chapters add emotional weight to the analysis and highlight how love and loyalty can exist even within deeply flawed moral systems.

Overall, this audiobook offers a thoughtful, nuanced reconsideration of the Malfoys and asks hard questions about responsibility, redemption, and whether anyone raised in darkness can truly choose the light.

It has been such a wonderful journey through Draco's story and I am very grateful to NetGalley for the ARC!

Draco Malfoy has been a favourite character of mine ever since I was little and the Harry Potter books were coming out. Being able to follow his story separately of everything else was wonderful. It definitely confirms that he isn't a bad person, and that beneath it all is a boy/man, who only needs to get the right support and right people, to become the person who he really is.

There were some details that I have missed during all my reads and rereads of the series, and I am now excited to reread them again and find all those tiny moments that make him such an interesting and complex character.

Not only that, but we get to dive into his family (the little that we know about them) and actually see where things have gone wrong. What I loved was seeing Narcissa and her tiny gestures of defiance (and one grand one at the end). I am certain that I will see them all in a bit of a newer light on my next reread of the Harry Potter books.

Malfoy by Irvin Khaytman dives deep into Draco Malfoy’s character and his intentions throughout the Harry Potter series. As a longtime HP fan, I found this audiobook fascinating.

Khaytman uses direct references and quotes from the original books to analyze Draco’s seven years at Hogwarts, discussing his transformation from a stereotypical school bully to a scared, conflicted Death Eater.

Is Draco redeemable? If so, was he redeemed? Is he truly a villain, or simply a product of his upbringing? These are the questions Khaytman explores. Although I’m not a fan of Lucius, I appreciated learning more about him as a father and about Narcissa as a protective, defiant mother.

My only critique is that at times the analysis seemed to drag on and occasionally felt more like a rambling discussion than a focused one.

It’s always interesting to see how long a piece of literature or pop culture needs to be around before it starts getting the academic treatment. Harry Potter is of course both of those things, and started being examined academically perhaps more quickly than most, as the material lends itself so well to the practice.

This is a thorough and notably completist academic character study of the Malfoy family, mostly focused on Draco and whether he was redeemed or is redeemable at all.

The author examines Draco’s every move in canon material, and arrives at what I believe to be the correct conclusion on both counts. If you’re a big fan of the series and are fond of the academics of content though, the fun is in getting there.

This book strikes a good balance between detailed examination and thoughtful conclusions, and provides some pretty nuanced observations about a character whose legacy is deeply complicated.

This was really interesting and a good insight into the Malfoy family. The author goes through each of the seven Harry Potter books, discussing each time Draco or his parents are mentioned, analyzing their characters.

I thought the book was really well written and didnt go too far into opinions. The author did a great job of citing the books and page numbers on which he formed his theories or beleifs on. While i didnt agree with everything he said, he explained his thoughts really clearly.

My only gripe is that sometimes things got a little too wordy and we went into the weeds. Sometimes the author goes a little too in-depth on ideas, while other times he doesnt support his claims enough. As an audiobook, it was a little hard to follow along with all the citations and footnotes the author would refer back to.

Thank you to NetGalley for a copy of this ALC.

I recently finished my reread of the Harry Potter series, so this was a fun listen to learn about the characters we love to hate.
Khaytman doesn't miss a detail, and offers explanations with evidence for behaviors and choices made within the Malfoy family, for Draco, Lucius, and Narcissa.
I haven't dived into analysis before, and the one thing that immediately stood out, is how JK Rowling, or Jo as we call her, added so many small details into character building for the story to flow so seemlessly.
Because the text is so heavily referenced, the citations can make this read like research more than the story of the characters at times.
"Malfoy" coveres all that can be learned from canon, with asides from Pottermore and interviews by Jo, along with a few other outside theories.

Wow. I felt like a total nerd while listening to this book and I loved every minute of it! If you’re a Harry Potter fan, like really a fan—read the books…multiple times—then you will love this. I described it to my friends as someone’s doctoral thesis that focused on the life of Draco Malfoy. If I get my doctorate, I want to focus on HP too 😂

The narrator was brilliant and the book was consistently entertaining. The only part I didn’t love was the quidditch appendix, but they may have been partly due to listening to that research is weirder than reading it in the page? But I thought this was so great and would highly recommend to any HP friends.

This was such an interesting audiobook. I am not sure I would have enjoyed reading the book as much. It is very interesting deep dive into the world of Harry Potter and how Draco and the Malfoy Family fit into it. It is an interesting read including mainly the books but pulls some other texts and interviews and walks through Draco’s growth and change during the series. I enjoyed the humor included like Chapter 6 and one quarter - Draco and the Crazy Summer Vacation. The time Draco got a tattoo and a new job during his summer break.

This was such a cool book!

‘Malfoy’ examines Draco Malfoy’s behaviors and actions. The author uses quotes and references from the original Harry Potter books to dive deep into Draco’s deeds and speculates what his intentions are and the overall intentions of his character.

As a Harry Potter fan, this was fascinating to listen to! I loved having all the information complied in one place and being able to see Draco’s attributes and behaviors laid out so clearly.

I’d recommend this book for anyone who already enjoys Harry Potter and would like to ponder more on Draco’s choices throughout the series!

This book is for fans and anyone who enjoys discussing the thousands of theories surrounding the world of Harry Potter books, focusing on Draco. As a reader of fanfiction that features him as a main character, I loved hearing someone talk about him and build all the theories around his character.

It's interesting to see how a character who doesn't appear that much in the stories gained such a large fanbase.

Richard Trinder's narration adds another layer to the story, making it very engaging and keeping you hooked until the end.

An interesting academic deep dive into Draco Malfoy and the HP World. Though I felt at time there was a clear bias from the author throughout, multiple times I felt pulled out by conclusions he drew that I felt where not accurate- atleast to my understanding of the books and characters. Much of the times where he stars one would assume xyz- I would disagree.

The narration was done very well, I did not personally mind the footnotes. I know some people found it a distraction though.

Overall a humorous and nostalgic listen, would recommend for fans of the HP world and Malfoy in general.

This was an interesting read. I loved the conversation regarding the parallel of the first and second half of the books and the ways Draco mirrored, honestly, several different characters. Some of the theories were interesting and a few were new.

I'm not a huge fan of the writing or that most of the references were fanfition, muggelnet articles, and interviews/pottermore pieces. I understand why-I just didn't like the support of theories with other theories. I also think I expected more of a psychological study of the Malfoys, and that wasn't really what it was.

As a Ravendorpuff with a hardly noticeable, slightly parselled-tongue, I love this growing body of great HP analysis books! Khaytman also has one about Dumbledore and Lorrie Kim has one on Snape. These three texts, IMO, are the essential three to read if you like this stuff. As a fan who never read the fan-sites or other variants of the HP internet community’s years of thoughts & essays, these books have read them for me and curated it all to the most refined, discernible positions 🤓🤘🧐
