About the author

Kate grew up in Western Sydney, in Australia, and remains there today. She has always loved the written word, being influenced by the likes of Edgar Allan Poe, JR Ward and Anne Rice, she ventured into writing at a young age.

Finally taking the plunge in 2016 and publishing for the first time. Ever since, she’s been trying to bring the worlds she’s created in her head to the page for everyone else to enjoy as much as she does.

When she’s not writing, she’s looking after her bevvy of pets including snakes, lizards, axolotls, birds, a turtle and a dog with her husband Kyle.

Out for Blood is Book 1 of the Ghost Rebels MC: Kilkenny series. And all I have to say is Wow...this was an intense, steamy, friends-to-lovers, second-chance, dark MC romance. Cooper "Ace" has returned home to take over the MC after the death of his father. Sheridan was his first love whom he left behind years ago. Both have loved each other for a long time but the timing was never right. Sheridan has been dealt a rough hand with an evil, abusive ex. Now, they see each other again and the timing may finally be right, although her ex is a piece of work. This story was an emotional roller coaster with a lot of dark themes. Our couple had great chemistry and while technically they end on a happy note, this book ends in a serious cliffhanger. I can't wait for the next one. This was my first book by this author, but definitely not the last. Be sure to read those triggers though as there are some dark and disturbing themes.

This was my first MC read and the first read for Kate Bonham.
I really enjoyed it. Best parting line I've ever read, hands down - a cliffhanger summed up in just one word. Make sure to check the CW because this book is seven ways to intense.
The storyline will constantly have you on the edge of your seat and biting your nails, waiting to see just what happens next.

smashed out this read in one sitting and just could not put it down! loved this MC romance that actually surrounds a club and the fact they are Irish is even better.

I love that my book husband Killian makes an appearance in this book too!

This is the first book of a new series. Well, the relationship does not end on a cliffhanger. There is definitely a cliffhanger in the story that leads into the second book. You cannot read this book as a standalone, unless you want to be dissatisfied, or don’t read the last page. He grew up in the MC life, as the president’s son, but when his dad was making bad choices for the club, he left town to go nomad. The only thing he regretted was leaving her behind. Well, they weren’t officially dating, they were close. They both felt the pool and the chemistry between them and almost had their night together before he had to leave. She was devastated at the loss and ended up marrying a man who wasn’t what he seemed. Now that his father is gone, Ace has returned home to claim the club and bring it back to life. When he sees her again, he knows the club isn’t the only thing he came back to claim. Their connection is just as strong as it ever was. He has club business to deal with while he is trying to clean up the mess his father left behind. In addition to that her ex is a problem and when he threatens her, Ace is ready to protect. What is his. This is the first book of a new series so there is definitely some time spent world building. You get the background of the MC, as well as club life and some of the members of the club. There is some fairly graphic DV and SA depicted on page against the FMC but not by the MMC, if you have triggers be aware. This was not an overly long book and there is a lot going on in those pages, that said, I thought there was maybe one too many back-and-forth with the ex..it took a little longer to resolve than it needed to. I have already bought the second book because I just can’t leave things where they were after the emotional roller coaster. This is a good mix of grit and spice, with even some tenderness thrown in. I am anxious to see what happens next however, I hope every book in the series does not end on a cliffhanger, and I’m hoping I get quickly get resolution from this one, because I felt a little done dirty.

And just like that I have entered my MC romance era...

I loved this one, such a well written, well planned out storyline that was well paced and easy to read! I absolutely adored the fact that the FMC and MMC were both in their mid to late 30s and not super young, it made it so much more relatable to read about someone in my own age group!
The way that the author has managed to tie her previous series in with this one so seamlessly was utter perfection, and has made me want to go back and read those books so I can stay in this world a little longer.

Beware! This book has a cliff-hanger that will leave you shook! thank goodness it seems that the next book isn't too far away, I don't know that I could live with the suspense for too long!!!

Definitely a recommended read, but it is quite trigger heavy - so check the trigger warnings before reading!!!

Out for Blood is definitely a suspenseful and page turning MC romance which had me on the edge of my seat the whole time I was reading it. I absolutely did NOT want to set the book down until I read the very last page. The story is captivating from beginning to end, entertaining and an absolute pleasure to read. Out for Blood is the first story in the Ghost Rebels MC series which follows the story of Ace and Sheridan. The chemistry between these two characters is incredibly amazing and undeniably irresistible. I loved getting to know both Ace and Sheridan as well as seeing their story come to life through the pages of this book. I did feel that this book ended on a cliff hanger, and I hope that we get to see Ace and Sheridan again in another book to see what will happen next for them. I’m not going to reveal too much about what happened in this book because I don’t want to spoil the story for other readers. Out For Blood is fantastically written, exceptionally balanced with action/romance and beautifully executed by Kate Bonham. This is the first book I’ve read by this author and was blown away by the storyline. Out for Blood contains a fantastic plot, outstanding characters and an ending which felt like a cliff hanger. I would definitely recommend this book for anyone who is looking for a new MC romance series to start reading.

‘Out For Blood’ is a finely woven, complex tale of a broken woman, her terrified twin daughters, and the savagely brutal tormentor who vows to tear their world apart. Only their monster didn’t count on the man who would raze the planet to protect them, and the found family of protectors of MC members and their women.

This book sunk its hooks in deep. My eyes are dry from lack of blinking. This was a great read. The Cliffy caught me off guard—not gonna lie. Looking forward to book 2!

This is an emotional rollercoaster ride to healing and second chances.Ace is the president of the Ghost Rebels MC .He walked away from the club because of his father but now his father is dead and he's back in his hometown. He wonders where the girl he loved is an as he leaves the tattoo shop he runs into her.Sheridan the woman he left behind because he was too young and stupid to have her get on the bike and go with him.He tells Sheridan come by the clubhouse and drinks are on me.Her friend says lets go to the club tonight and have some fun.Maybe you guys will finally get together its been along time coming.So when Sheridan shows up they talk and drink then he says lets go for a ride he takes her and shows her to their favorite beach where they almost hooked up but something happened and he ended up leaving town.Will they give into the chemistry and passion that's been building for ten years.This story has action ,suspense ,danger,love.There are so many twists and turns to this story you will be riveted til the very last page.I can hardly wait to see what's next by this multi talented author.

To put it politely, I’m not a fan of cliffhangers.
So why five stars?
Because this book is just so good. On paper I should dislike it because of the cliffhanger, yes, but also because I don’t enjoy reading the abused-heroine-running-from-her-spouse trope unless it’s done really well and backed up with other elements. This book does do the trope really well. And it’s accompanied by great characters and excellent background creation. Ace is a work of art, a tough biker who’s tender with his family, and all man (Rrowl!). Sheridan’s abuse is awful and she’s very much damaged, but not broken. Her daughters are amazing, and I’ll be keeping an eye on Shauna and Chains to see what happens there.
Because I’ll definitely be reading the next book.

Out For Blood is book 1 in the Ghost Rebel MC, Kelkenny Chapter. It's also my first read by this author and is a great intro to this new series and this new to me author. It's Ace and Sheridans fast paced, very steamy, second chance story and is captivating. This couple had been friends (but wanting more) most all of their lives and fate decided to give them another shot. There's plenty of drama, action, danger, intrigue, chaos and excitement filling their story that keeps you glued to the pages from beginning to end. I'm excited to see where this Chapter leads and I especially can't wait for Orla and Bears story.

This is the first in the Ghost Rebels MC series, Ace/Cooper has returned being a nomad to claim his father's place as the MC's Pres. He never expected to cross paths with the woman holds his heart, Sheridan. They have both been in love with one another but have never had the correct timing.

Now that he is back, timing is right but her ex is not going to just let her go. You just want them to have a happy ending that they have been waiting for. This book has some dark themes: domestic violence, human trafficking, violence that comes with a MC story and ends on cliffhanger.

This is the 1st book by Kate Bonham i got to sink my eyes into and believe you me I demolished this book within hours, i may have been reading it at work oopsy but I just couldnt put it down

And I really hope Orla and Chains—(two more characters) Will get their own stories.

Too many overused tropes, especially the one where they still have feelings for each other after 20 years.
Too many kidnappings or almost kidnappings.
Too many boring unnecessary sex scenes at the wrong time.
Didn't like the fmc, she acted just like one of the club whores.
It's said that she was in love with the mmc since high school but yet she was dating another guy? Doesn't sound like love to me.
There was no depth to the characters personalities. It was more about the sex than anything else.
Will not continue with the series.

I’m a sucker for MC Romances and I thoroughly enjoyed this one! I haven’t read one like it and I really enjoyed Sheridan and Ace’s relationship and how they found each other after all the years apart. I love how the club looks out for Sheridan and her girls and protects them. I need the next book because well that cliffhanger has me wanting more! I can’t wait for the rest of the books in this series!

Sheridan and Cooper were in love until his father did some things at the Ghost Rebels MC that he could not stand for so he left. When he came he found her married to the corrupt police chief and she had two beautiful daughters to protect from their father. Cooper immediately steps in the protect all three because they should have been his all along.

I was expecting a HEA ending like all the MC books I've read so far, but damn! I need to get my hands to the rest of the series.
It took me a little to really get my attention on the book, I struggled a bit to grasp the story, mostly because my expectations were met once Sheridan & Ace got together.

I enjoyed this book the story telling & plot line was good I did enjoy the sexual tension & the twisting plot line.
The MC were strong & the other characters were portrayed well & were believable.

Kate Bonham has done it again! She won my heart with Widow and never fails to amaze me. This book was incredible, kept me hooked the whole way through. It’s 4 stars due to the slightly slow start at the beginning but honestly I think that’s just because I’m used to reading thrillers. I can not wait for the next book! Cooper is the MC pres … he had left the MC for a while when he father was at the helm … gone 10 years he had to leave behind his high school sweetheart, Sheridan … he had no idea what she experienced during that time . But once he gets back and they get into contact it’s as if the time has never passed … they rekindle their flame and it’s burning 🔥 hotter than ever ! !

Loves that this is set in Ireland. I'm also here for the darkish MC side of things. Sheridan and Ace these two are your meant to be together couple. There is bant throughout. The spice lets just say in this second chance romance these two made up for lost time.

Corruption, betrayal and a lot of action in this MC trope book. There are a lot of potential triggers, so read with that in mind. Definitely a dark romance with a lot of steamy scenes and interesting character.
