Disclaimer: I received an ARC of this story. However, my thoughts and opinions are entirely my own.
I liked seeing a brief little peek into Natsuo and Seven's lives 5 months after Blue Se7en ended. I'm glad that the characters are shown slowly healing from the trauma that happened in the previous book and that said healing doesn't feel like it being rushed for the sake of the plot as I have seen done in other stories. Unlike stories like that, this novella feels like a realistic depiction of healing, which further intrigues me for the rest of the storyline and is making me want to read more books within the series.
I found myself really liking Kenji in this novella, and I was happy we got to see more of him (of course, I adore Natsuo, Seven, and Yuri too) ^-^

All in all, this novella was a nice, cute, and sweet little story that had very good and realistic depictions of healing from trauma. I'm so excited to see what's next for not only Natsuo and Seven, but also for Kenji and Yuri as well ^-^

A short & sweet read! Seven and Natsuo are still healing from their trauma. They are able to be there for each other through it all though. This novella while sweet also delves into hard topics such as abuse and mental health issues. Natsuo truly is a hero. Seeing them support each other makes me so happy. Also, Kenji is such a great friend to Seven and Natsuo. I look forward to hopefully seeing them again, maybe even a story focusing on Kenji. I also enjoy how the author really makes you feel like you are back in 1999 with the descriptions. Thank you Michele for the opportunity to arc read Miracles Happen.

Short, sweet and fluffy romance read.
a nice change of pace, a little hard to follow if you don't read the book before.
In this book Natsuo and Seven show how they bring in the new year, and how all of them are doing since the end of book one.

I read the ARC for both this and the first book.

The first book was a delicious trigger fest. This novella is the bandaid.

Seriously, this book was pure sugar sweet. A serious reprieve after the storm that was the first book.

It was so nice to see Seven, Natsuo, and everyone just being happy and enjoying their new year activities.

If a second novel comes out that’s as dramatic as the first one, this novella will be an absolute must read between the two to recover.
