I am slowly but surely learning to manage my time more effectively and getting back to writing and connecting with everyone. I'm not completely there yet, but it is slowly coming together. Misled and Misappropriate have been updated with additional chapters and POVs from a couple more characters. Both books have about 30,000 more words and new covers. I have new covers for all the books in the series. Recently Misled placed first in the Mystery, Suspense, and Thriller category on Chick Lit Cafe. The paperback will also be included in an upcoming Reveal Book Box. While working on Reckless, I am also updating the text in the original series. About Reckless - It will be filled with death and destruction, as usual. However, I will admit to being slightly shocked myself at some of the turn of events taking place. I have restarted my newsletter with a new name, KatChats. Until the end of the year, I plan to send it out weekly because of all the news I have to share. After that, I will switch to monthly. I also have a new website. It should be online in a couple of days once the domain transfer completes. I also have a website dedicated to the Death Dwellers. It is still in its early stages, but it is live: https://deathdwellersmc.com. Meanwhile, if you have any questions, please send them my way.
Kathryn C. Kelly is a New Orleans native who has called southeast Texas home since 2005. She had intended to travel the world but always return to her beloved New Orleans. Hurricane Katrina had other plans. She is the mother of three beautiful daughters and the daughter of one gorgeous mother whose footsteps she followed in by becoming a writer. Kathryn is the former owner and editor of Inside Rose Rich Magazine. She and her mother have been published by Jove Books as Christine Holden. The books have long been out of print but they got the rights back to the five novels and have plans to re-release them soon. Kathryn is a cancer survivor. On November 30, 2016, she rang the bell. During her treatment, she was also diagnosed with Li-Fraumeni Syndrome. In 2013, Christopher "Outlaw" Caldwell introduced himself to Kat in the most cliché way ever. He came to her in a dream. After the inauspicious meeting, he planted himself in her mind and the motherf...the gentleman hasn't left yet. In what was only supposed to be one book about the fictitious Death Dwellers MC, Outlaw has become a source of amusement, a well of frustration, and a bone of contention between Kat and one of her daughters. She is hard at work on Reckless, the book that will bridge the OGs with a new generation of Death Dwellers. Her work has been included in several anthologies and she is looking forward to other upcoming single title releases, including Savage Suit from the Cocky Hero Club World created by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward. She is a former RWA member. She also served as Vice President for the SOLA chapter of RWA. She is a New Orleans Saints fan, but roots for the Texans, the Rockets, and the Coogs (U of H) as long as they aren't playing any Louisiana teams. She loves champagne and sparkling wine. One day, she will try Snoop's brand. She still loves Chivas Regal but had a chance to taste Sassenach Scotch. A #lifegoal is to one day buy herself an entire bottle and keep it all for herself. In her head, she is a biker babe with a Harley in her garage, waiting for her to hit the road. In reality, she has yet to hop on a bike and ride. She loves Cards Against Humanity, has very strong opinions that she keeps to herself, has to take her time to talk in public so nothing untoward pops out, and always strives to see the best in people and in life.
I love this series but I can't stand Kendall she is so insecure. She irritated the hell out of me , I don't like her at all. I wanted to reach in side my iPad and slap the sh*t out of her. Anyways I love everybody else in this book and I wish I had the next book now..... I can't to read Val, Diggers and Mortician book.
A copy was provided by the author for an honest review
Kendell is the most irritating, insecure, manipulative, out of touch with reality character pretty much ever. It is such a contradiction to want to continue reading so badly for all the secondary characters while having an incredible desire to punch the main character in the throat.
She really is the only thing I hate about the Death Dwellers series. The first 60% of the book focused on her and the other females of the MC and their BS drama. The last 40% was a thrill ride with seriously heartbreaking events (even felt for Kendell). I really hoped Kendell would round out in this book. I kept thinking she would have one of those come to God moments where she would realize what a piece of work she is, and she did in the last chapter. I have a hard time believing any one can fall in love with Kendell and her drama much less a strong intelligent man like Johnny.
The men of Death Dwellers are a loud bunch of rough, sexy men. No matter how much Kendell irritates, I want more Dwellers. I can’t wait to read about Zoann and Val, I am pretty excited about following Mort and Bailey too!
I was sucked into this series by the first book - Misled. Since finishing it, I’ve been on the edge of my seat waiting anxiously for the next installments to release. Misdeeds was no exception - I was offered the opportunity to receive a copy for me to review and I couldn’t have been more excited. Misdeeds is the 4th book in the Death Dwellers MC series - this is not a series for the faint of heart. If you don’t like your MC books to be raw, brutal, dangerous, violent, gritty and very very sexy - then just pass this one on by. That is what Kathryn delivers us with this book (and we the readers expected no less)!
Misdeeds picks up shortly after Misunderstood ended. I should mention, this book cannot be read as a standalone - you need to start from the beginning and delve right into this series to fully appreciate it. Right away at the start of the book, we are pulled right back into the emotional roller coaster where the last book left off. The MC is dealing with a brutal, vicious rivalry with their enemy - one that has forced them all to pay very steep prices. I thought the opening part of the book was set perfectly, it gave the reader a chance to slide back into where things left off and was a beautiful segway into the upcoming war with the Torpedoes.
This book was Kendall and Johnnie’s story. Johnnie holds a special place in my heart and I sooo want that HEA for him! Their story is an extremely complicated one, Kendall’s insecurities do not make for an easy relationship for anyone involved. What I really loved about this book was the way Kathryn still made the entire MC feel like the main characters of the book. Yes, this was Kendall and Johnnie’s story - but in no way did Outlaw and Meggie take a back seat. They are characters that demand attention, and boy do they get it! I felt as though they were very much a huge part of the story, pivotal actually. As Outlaw would say - aint no motherfucking way he and Meggie takin a back seat in no story.
I completely have to hand it to Kathryn - Kendall’s character is unlike one I have ever read. She’s that girl you are either going to love or hate. I’m not ashamed to say that I alternated back and forth with my opinion of her the entire book. As the reader, you want so bad to relate to her and cut her some slack due to all she has endured - however it is damn hard to do at some points! I was frustrated and yelling at my Kindle with some of her antics and then at times, I completely got where she was coming from with her insecurities. There are parts of her that were so relatable - I fully believe that a lot of females have felt the way that she feels much of the time. The way she compares herself to Megan, her jealously and enviousness - these are emotions that I believe we have all faced at one time or another. A little blurb to offer some insight on Kendall’s thoughts and feelings:
In Megan, Kendall saw every mean girl she’d ever had to face in high school and every sorority girl she’d come across in college.
Johnnie and Kendall have an amazing chemistry, they care about each other and Kendall does everything she can to prove her worth and succeed in making Johnnie hers. The questions is - does Johnnie want the same thing?
If you know the background of Johnnie, you will know that he has always held Megan in high regard and she holds a piece of his heart. Unfortunately, Kendall knows this as well - and it does not sit well with her. She pulls that card out in every disagreement, in every argument - a fact that frustrates Johnnie to no end. This drove me crazy about Kendall, she is a character that has that ability to just drive you insane one second, and then have you cheering and rooting her on the next second.
“Putting you first requires what?” - Johnnie “Making me feel like I’m important,” she flared, proud of how eloquent she presented her argument. She felt vital and alive, ready to stand up to him and demand what she needed. “I don’t want to be your afterthought.” - Kendall “You’re here, aren’t you? You’re not a fucking afterthought.”
Trust me when I say you will want to shake her and tell her to smarten the fuck up. But at the end of the day, she loves Johnnie and wants to be with him….what will be the outcome for these two? Does Johnnie love her enough to see through all her layers and give her what she needs? Have to grab the book to find out ;)
This book really does have it all...I love books that I can get completely engrossed in and thats what happened to me here. It kept me guessing from one page to the next - the twists were explosive! And being an MC book with sexy, alpha bikers - of course there was some deliciously steamy love scenes that you aren’t going to want to miss. I’m not giving anything away when I say that we could all use some of Johnnie Boy’s skills with his tongue ;) Just sayin.
I thought I was gonna have to wait until September to read another Kathryn Kelly MC book! Luckily, I didn't! I just can't gush about this series enough.
This novella, that reads like a full length novel, was an HEA for Johnnie and Kendall. I was a little unsure at first because Kendall is a bit of a handful. I just enjoyed the heck out of this. Johnnie is such a good guy. Kendall has her good qualities too. Together, they could be so great and this book is about their journey to that point. Johnnie has to deal with the continued threat of the club's enemies, his past feelings for Megan, his current feelings for Kendall and impending fatherhood. Kendall is dealing with her self image issues, the death of her sister, her ex's psychosis, her need to fit in at the club, her feelings for Johnnie, and impending motherhood. All these issues were thrown into a pot and brought to a rolling boil.
I've read some reviews that blamed most of the problems that Kendall had on Kendall. I see that to be true to a certain extent and maybe that's due to the fact I read book two first. I put the blame on everyone. Christopher's constant spoiling of Megan, Megan's acting like brat at times, Kendall's insecurities that made me want to shake her and Johnnie trying to work it all out. This book had a big emotional punch to it, things I never saw coming. I laughed, cringed and cried. Ms. Kelly, whatever you want to write in this series, rest assured, I'm gonna read it and tell everybody I know how great it is! Thank you for sending it to me.

War is on the horizon… *Two brooding MC Clubs stopping at nothing to one is left standing.
*And one love struggles toward a future.
With an outbreak on the brink and tragedies ensuing, how will it all end them? Will old rivalries be finally put to rest?
And will Johnnie and Kendall finally get their happily ever after? Or, are they simply not meant to be?
Few things are for certain: Blood will be spilled. Stakes will be risen. Scores will be settled. And love and friendship will be put to the ultimate test…
My thoughts:Oh dear Lord, this was an overwhelming read!!
So much action, tension, cat fights, and inner+outside turmoil going on!!
1) Kendall, oh my gah!!
2x!!
You gave me a headache with your selfishness, jealousy, issues, and stupid actions and words. I wanted to b*#ch slap you after a while. I do get you, I do. But sometimes you were just unreasonable and needed to think before you do. I mean, come on, every time you opened your mouth you dug yourself more and more into a deeper hole. How could anyone take light to that?
However.... with much chagrin, I can honestly get where a lot of it stemmed from. Just, get your self together hun! xoxo
2) Johnnie. Get your s*#t straight man! Figure out what you want and get a handle on your woman!
3) Megan: I love(♥) you! You’re still one tough chick! You’re still Queen Bee in my book! <3
4) Outlaw: You’re brutal and a hard a$# motherf*#er but what you say is true and needs to be said.
*Note to Megan:*
5) Death Dwellers MC: I do get your guys’ varying feelings toward Megan and Kendall, I do. Megan had it tough growing up and she’s a real easy girl to love and warm up to but Kendall should have had the same courtesy too after they found out her true motives and background. She didn’t have it easy either and just was looking for love and acceptance through the wrong ways.
So, give the girl some slack and attention because she's going through some hard times. I, too, would have had a break down after all that she's went through!
So please warm up more toward her!
6) And lastly, Spoon: I HATE YOU! Period. Buahahaha!
SO OVER ALL… an explosive and exemplary read that solidifies the relationship of JohnnieXKendall and the entire Death Dwellers MC! You’ll never get bored, that’s for sure! I know I didn't!
Kathryn Kelly sure does deliver but boy does she throw in some hurdles and heartbreaks! One particular part gutted me!
Why oh why?! Dammit Kathryn!
Anyway, great job Ms. Kelly! I enjoyed this a lot. :)
One way I know a book is really good, is when it makes me mad to the point I want to strangle the characters, yet I cannot put it down and end up staying up until 3:00 A.M. to finish it...Misdeeds is one such book – This book made me feel like I was in the middle of a hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico, my emotions were being tossed all around and at times I couldn’t catch my breath. I literally laughed, cried, screamed. fanned myself and almost pulled my hair out while reading this book.
You do need to read the Death Dwellers MC series in order to get the full impact and the back story of everyone before reading Misdeeds. At the end of book 3 , Misunderstood, I felt like Kendall and Johnnie didn’t really have a HEA, there was so much still that needed to be solved between them> Color me excited when I heard Kathryn Kelly was publishing a “novella” for Johnnie and Kendall (this is the longest novella ever, it’s actually full book length).
I have been in love with Johnnie since his first appearance in Misled. I fell in love with Kendall in Misunderstood, she is the underdog, the girl who has never had love and always felt second best. Her own mom made her feel like she was unimportant, fat and ugly. Kendall fell in love with Johnnie fast, he represented everything she has always wanted, LOVE and SAFETY. Johnnie fell in lust with Kendall, he still had issues about love because he was still in love with Christopher's wife Meg and Kendall knew this, which only added to her insecurities because they were always around Meg.
Misdeeds picks up where Misunderstood ends. I’m not going to go into much detail because you really just need to read the book to experience it and make judgment on your own. I am in a discussion group for the Death Dwellers MC series and I will tell you reactions about Kendall and Meg in Misdeeds vary, partly because Kendall went from being the underdog to a **tch and Megs went from being the spoiled Princess to the underdog.
Kendall is trying to find her place with Johnnie and the MC. This would be tough on a normal basis, but throw in Kendall’s immense insecurities and the pampering/spoiling Meg gets from Christopher and the rest of the boys, INCLUDING Johnnie, well it’s just a huge emotional explosion waiting to happen. When that explosion happens it is ugly and no one is safe. Kendall was insecure and as soon as the guys started trying to accept her and make her feel better Megan started getting jealous, so they started playing sides. In my opinion both girls are messed up and wrong. But the guys attempts to interfere just make the tension worse. The guys should have shut up and let the girls figure it out. Damn men.
Kendall and Megs both worked my nerves. But I had to keep telling myself that all of this took place basically in a short amount of time and Kendall never really had a chance to think/regroup because it was one bad thing after another happening to her. I totally "get" Kendall. Not saying I LOVED her in this book, but I "get" her. I "get" Megs too. I was proud of the maturity Megs showed to Kendall towards the end. I do think they will be a force to be reckoned if they become good friends and can't wait to see how it plays out. If the girls do become good friends in future books, I can see Christopher, Johnnie and the rest of the guys regretting it ;) LOL.
Ms. Kelly will have a challenge to make everyone love Kendall as the series progresses. But I think Kendall will end up strong, once she is confident that she finally has love and friends to help her heal. I also think she will end up helping Meg mature and become a little more independent.
Misdeeds is not only about the evolving relationship of Johnnie, Kendall, Meg, Christopher and the Death Dwellers, there is also danger, violence and suspense that will have you guessing and praying for everyone's safety.
As hard as this book was to read emotionally, I couldn’t put it down and I cannot wait to see what’s in store for Mort, Bailey, Zoanne and Val. Kathryn Kelly has created dynamic, complex, damaged characters that I just want to friend and love.
I want to rate this book a 4 but I'm sticking with 3.5. The saga of Christoper (Outlaw) and the Death Dwellers picks up where book 2 left off. We pick back up with Johnnie and Kendall's relationship and the tiring, ongoing pettiness of Kendall's insecurities. I get that Kendall had some bad experiences in her life to include physical and mental abuse from her capture by the leader of the rival MC as well as bullying issues in her youth and a less than loving relationship with her mother. But she continued to come across as a self centered bitch who wanted the world to stop for her and for her to always be the center of attention. It got tiring in book 2 and continued on in this book. The good news is that she redeems herself at the end of the book. I was disappointed in Johnnie in this book in that he always caved to Kendall and didn't show any balls about standing up for himself. He let Kendall make both him and herself miserable. I can't explain why but it aggravated me when Christoper would slip into the street lingo and talk like a thug and then talk regular English. The things I did like include getting more on the story of Mort and Bailey. Mort continues to resist admitting that he loves Bailey. The surprise in this book is that Mort actually marries her in Vegas while drunk, wakes up the next morning and then wants to annual the marriage. He doesn't follow through because even though he can't commit, he doesn't want to let her go. The next book should be interesting since it will pick up with Mort and Bailey's romance. Zoann and Val almost make peace but then something happens that again puts her in a spin. The next book will also continue with their relationship. I have a fear that Zoann may be as aggravating as Kendall. I really like the relationship between Christopher and Megan but really don't want to read anything else about Johnnie and Kendall. I predict the author is also setting up a book for a M/M relationship for Stretch, another MC member who is actually bi-sexual. I will most likely read the next one in this series just to get the story on Mort and Bailey.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I really like this series. It's gritty, has bad-ass alpha bikers and great female characters. The Death Dwellers MC live on the edge and I love that about this series. Christopher aka Outlaw is a hard ass and brash MC President that takes no shit from anyone. His VP is Johnnie or John Peter and while he is more subdued he is the most dangerous of the bunch.HEA..maybe, maybe not. This series is raw and pushes some boundaries so be forewarned..LOVED IT
Well....that wasn't an ending I thought could happen after all the goings on in this book! I have never, EVER, despised a lead character as much as I despised Kendall, obviously that excludes villains, as Kendall is not the villain in this book, she is the female lead. I just hated her and getting to read her internal monologue during the chapters written in her point of view did nothing to endear her to me or redeem her actions. I get she has issues, but so does everyone else to some extent, but she was so mired in her own self-pity and blinded by her jealousy of others that she could not see a situation from anyone else's perspective other than her own. Maybe I'm a harsh, unforgiving bitch but I could not excuse her behaviour. So she was bullied at school, she's now a 30 year old woman doing exactly that to 19 year old Megan, a girl who Kendall deems as a rival of Johnnie's attention despite the fact Megan is deliriously happily married to Johnnie's brother Christopher. Kendall judged Megan on her looks, being petite, blonde haired and blue eyed, Kendall decided that Megan was the same as those girls who bullied her in high school, despite Megan not having acted in any way to deserve such judgement. So Kendall did exactly what had been done to her, she judged another woman based on her looks. It wasn't just the way she was with Megan that gained her the top spot of my most hated Leading Lady list, it was how she treated Johnnie, she was so manipulative! She demanded to be the centre of his attention and resented anything and anyone that drew his attention elsewhere. She was blinded by her own self-pity, could not seem to see the faults in her own actions, it was all about how things affected her and she didn't seem able to see how others were affected. She was her own worse enemy, seemed happy to remain wallowing in her self-pity despite attempts by Johnnie and others to pull her out of it. Christopher hit the nail on the head when he said, referring to Kendall, "She a sulkin', miserable cunt that fuckin' manipulate situations to keep herself a sulkin' miserable cunt". As eloquent and charismatic as ever Christopher haha, nevertheless he was dead on the mark. I loved the scenes that Kendall wasn't in, written in the other characters POV's, I found myself really looking forward to those parts. I'm excited to see what becomes of Val and Zoann, Mortician and Bailey, Digger and Stretch, and I really want to read more of Christopher and Megan's story. This book only didn't achieve a five star rating from me because I was not happy with the ending. I understand that we the readers should accept the ending the author wrote and appreciate the journey of the story, and I did! Kathryn Kelly's writing is amazing, I would not be this incensed about a character had her superb story-telling not drew me in. BUT, I would have been more accepting of Johnnie's "happily ever after" if we had seen a bit more of Kendall's more reasonable side. I just don't think I had long enough to come around to her from the time she stopped being such an epic bitch to the end of the book.
Johnnie and Kendall's story comes with many surprises, sadness and OMG moments. I am torn, as much as I absolutely love Kathryn Kelly's writing and all her characters, Kendall just tweaks me the wrong way, she's too judgmental and jealous and mean, I do feel for her what she went through and her losses but she just drives me up a wall. Johnnie I love to pieces but even he changed drastically in this story. I get the stress and loss for everyone but I was hoping Kendall could have dug deeper to be a better person, not so messed up until almost the end. Outlaw oh my Outlaw is sexy and as badass as ever, and Mortician and Val made this story awesome, love Val and Zoanne together, she's a ultimate bitch too but she's working on it. Maggie is a tough bitch too as always and maybe too hard on Kendall at times but I just love her loyalty to the whole MC. A lot of action, a lot of WTF moments and always brotherhood. Miss KP...Love that everyone seems to be working out their differences, can't wait until Val and Zoanne's story .... 4.5 stars review by Nanee at upallnightreadallday.blogspot.com

A 5 Star Rating I am in love with this series. It just keeps getting better and better. I was thrilled to see we were getting more of Johnnie and Kendall. Johnnie is a great character who I cant help but to love. Kendall drove me crazy in the first book and she still does in this one. But the great thing about giving them a second book was you really get to see Kendall grow and even with all her flaws you love the girl. This was a great addition to the series and I can't wait to get my hands on the next book
Received a complimentary copy from the author for an honest review.
I received an ARC via the author for an honest review.
I love this series every since, I found it on goodreads. I love how they curse in every other sentence and how they don't think before they talk. When it comes to Megan's attitude towards Kendall I think it was childish
My star rating for 'MISDEEDS' is 4 out of 5 stars! :) *Happy Release Day - June 5th*
My ‘Blogging Reader’s Review’ after reading ‘MISDEEDS' by Author Kathryn Kelly (via: Booksmoviesfandoms.wordpress.com):
***WARNING: Possible SPOILERS if you haven’t read the previous Novels/Novellas of the Death Dwellers MC Series.***
‘Misdeeds’ is the fourth novel of the ‘Death Dwellers MC Series’ by author Kathryn Kelly but it’s also a novella. The characters continue to be very strong in the sense that you will either strongly like or dislike them. Despite the trials they deal with and the sometimes terrible ways they deal with them, you can’t help but feel that they are raw and could be real because they can be known to make both good and terrible choices at times. You will be reading this novella through about five P.O.V.’s(point of views) but mainly from Kendall Miller and our sexy biker favorite-Johnnie ‘John-Boy’ Donovan. But we also get some P.O.V.’s from Death Dwellers MC bikers – Lucas ‘Mortician’ Banks, Matthew ‘Val’ Taylor and Louis ‘Stretch’ King.
We met Kendall Miller in the last novel, who was new to the Death Dweller MC world thanks to being thrust into the biker world by a rival leader named ‘Spoon’ of the Torpedoes MC. With her long red-hair, long beautiful legs and tall height, she comes across as a beautiful woman in her early-thirties upon first impression. Unfortunately, after her time with her ex-boyfriend ‘Spoon’ and her personal issues, she is very mistrusting, reclusive in a way that she begins to push away any chances of possible friendship with Megan and risks her relationship with Johnnie in the process. Because of her issues, she also begins to cause friction in the Death Dwellers MC and between cousins Christopher ‘Outlaw’ and Johnnie ‘John-Boy’.
After putting an end to one evil monster in the previous novel and now having to bury one of their own, the Death Dwellers must reboot and be ready to hunt down their sadistic enemy ‘Spoon’ and handle the unfinished business with him. It’s personal to both Johnnie and Christopher so they can avenge the harm that occurred by the hands of ‘Spoon’, Kendall’s ex-boyfriend and bring down the Torpedoes MC in the process. It becomes a dangerous time in the middle of a war between the two motorcycle clubs, which can definitely become risky to the pregnant Old Ladies, Megan and Kendall as they struggle to find an understanding and get past their dislike for each other for the sake of their men the the club.
In this novella we get to know more about ‘Mortician’ and Bailey and their possible relationship that seems to be growing after the death of Bailey’s father, former Death Dweller MC member, K.P. We also get to know more about Matthew ‘Val’ Taylor and his tumultuous relationship with Christopher ‘Outlaw’s’ sister, Zoann and the baby they share and love. And last but not least we get to know Louis ‘Stretch’ King better, who is a trusted member of the Death Dwellers MC and is dealing with own dilemmas and secrets.
The Death Dwellers MC and Kendall must deal with the deaths of people they care about and the aftermath of those ordeals and tragic losses, while dealing with the ongoing war with the Torpedoes MC and ‘Spoon’. Secrets from the past never stop surfacing, which also seem to cause friction within the compound of the Death Dwellers MC group and their Old Ladies. Stuff gets heavy at times, that you don’t know if they will all make it through to the end or if they will even continue to be allies or enemies by the end of the story. All of this will definitely work towards keeping readers entertained throughout the story. Find out if Johnny and Kendall can finally find a happily ever after with each other or if heartbreak is on the brink? Can the war between the two MC’s ever come to an end or will it just bring the end to them both with destruction and mayhem? Who will be left standing and who won’t survive? Read this story to find out. In this novella expect more hot moments, heartbreak, love, fighting, and sadly, more tragedy. Just another day in the Death Dwellers MC world. I do recommend this novella and this series because the characters are always easy to love, easy to hate or somewhere in between. Great dynamics. Check this series and novella out. :)
My Blogging Reader's Star Rating for 'MISDEEDS' is 4 out of 5 stars! :)

OMG where can I start on this review. MMMM ok lets start with the heroine Kendall. As we know from the previous book Kendall was sent into the club to try and get Outlaw to cheat on his woman in order to save her sister and we all know that didn't end up very well for anyone. In this book Kendall is holding onto her sanity by a very small thread and at times she had me so pissed off at her that had she been a real person I would have been happy to take her out back and beat her into reality. Now I know people who read this book are really not going to like Kendall for the most part but as you read about her kind of put yourself in her shoes. How would you act if the man you loved and the man you were pregnant by was in love with another woman? how would you be if your whole life you had been belittled and bullied and told how you were nothing and was never going to be nothing and that no one would ever love you? Then a man comes along and you fall for him and in the back of your mind those harsh words are always playing over and over again. It would make any woman act a little psycho. So for this reason alone I was able to tolerate most of what she said and did.almost everything but not quite everything. There is a couple things that lets face it she needs to be raked over hot coals for. Now Johnny is the hero and he is a piece of work himself. He decides to make a go of a relationship with Kendall if for no other reason than to be a daddy to his baby. But still holds onto the thought that he is in love with Meghan. He is a very patient man when it comes to Kendall and I have never read about a man who is willing to take what is dished out to him from one woman. So for that reason he is aces to me baby All in all this story was good and the secondary characters is what actually made this a kick ass read.Outlaw is outrageous in this one as only he can be.We get the set up for Mortician and Bailey book that is coming and to me this is a great addition to this series.
loved this book, five stars awarded but would of given more if I could. This book is a emotional rollercoaster of a read, the lead characters are Johnnie and Kendall from misunderstood this is the second book in this couples journey to overcome the problems in their relationship and how they get their HEA. As a reader you will have mixed feelings towards Kendall and her behaviour and attitude towards those around her, but it is so well written that you get completely lost within the pages of this book. I was lucky enough to beta read this book and was gripped from the very first page right up to the very last sentence. An exceptional book from a exceptionally talented writer. I would recommend this book to everybody who loves biker mc books. This book tackles some very emotional subjects such as loss and personal feelings that are sure to get the reader thinking about the topics raised. Before reading misdeeds the reader does need to read all previous books in this series to really understand the background to the main characters within this story. Go see for yourselves trust me this book will not disappoint you on any level.
Received this ARC for an honest review. Thank you Kathryn for letting me get the jump on this series for which I love!!!
Johnnie and Kendall's story pushed me to the bloody limit!!!!! I've never read a book like it where I didn't like the female part.....grrrr had me so mad!!! She is selfish, bitchy, whiny and a downright pain in my ass!!!! And Johnnie where did his b*lls go!!!!!.....you better get them back sharpish!!!!
Outlaw (swoon) is still a badass, but even he outdoes him self in this book.....fell even more in love with him if that's even possible. Meggie is still Queen Bee in my eyes.
And Mort I don't even know why you are fighting this attraction for Bailey, best thing you can do is get ya 20g's ready and call it a day!!!
This series is going from strength to strength.....and I am so looking forward to the next chapter. Bring it on Kathryn.
My rating for this novella is 4 out of 5 stars! :)
*Received an ARC early-copy for an honest review.*
This novella is a raw yet entertaining story with dark and sad moments. The main characters of the story struggle to try and build a love relationship while dealing with personal issues while being a part of a rough MC biker world amid a war, it is a challenge. It is a great continuation of this series. :)

DNF. I couldn't finish this book due to Kendall being so annoying. I've read the others in the series and wanted to read this but it just got to much and I'm disappointed to feel that way when I actually like all the other characters. Even though she went through some bad things I just couldn't feel any sympathy towards her. I,d really like to read any others so will wait for those.
This book opens with the Dwellers’ MC attending their fallen brother’s K-P’s funeral. I have to say for a biker funeral it had to be not only rot with ceremony but also emotions dripping with sadness. Even with that not far from all their minds is delivering vengeance to Spoon since Logan (Christopher and Johnnie’s grandfather) is dead already. At the funeral Meg’s mom being K-P’s old lady was distraught so Meg’s went to help her to her seat as did Christopher and Johnnie. Johnnie let her get closer to her mom and he encircled Megs to help hold them both up. Kendall see’s this and them smiling at each other as well as in the last book when they were on lock down and he took her to the cave to talk by themselves. (Not knowing it was to settle their past once and for all, so they say.) So, Kendall’s jealousy is running wild. My heart breaks for Kendall when she sees Caroline at the funeral home for the first time after being kidnapped. She is so heartbroken for what her little sister went through at the hands of Spoon and Logan that she keeps telling her how sorry she is. Half the time you just want to slap Kendall for the things that come out of her mouth and her high and mighty attitude towards Megs. Yet, Megs is acting like the jilted girlfriend at times too. So, they both need a kick in the pants. Part of Kendall’s insecurities with their relationship is that Johnnie has not come right out and given her clear cut answers about their roles as a couple. Are they friends with benefits, a couple, a couple heading towards engagement or etc.…he is always defending or promoting Megs to Kendall but at the same time he told her at one time he loved her. Yet, Kendall is always starting fights. With the chip on her shoulder from the mean girls of the past haunting her and the knowledge of Johnnie past with Megs plus her sister’s death what can we expect really? Needless to say Kendall and Megs dislike each other, talking would help. Outlaw just wants his lady happy, healthy, and safe. Kendall is not helping with that at all. Come ride the rollercoaster of emotions for all. I loved this story so much. This book like the two prior books on the edge of your seat. The ending ends up so nicely with a clear cut beginning if that makes any sense. Kat ties it all together so you know what started it all. But I like that we are going to be seeing a story about Val and Zoann. But who I really want to see have his own story is Mortician and I hope it’s with Bailey. I just love him and his level headed cool style. But, when it comes to Bailey in this book all that goes out the window and considering what he handles for the MC this statement sounds bizarre. I give this 5 stars. Provided by author for honest review. Find us at: www.1rad-readerreviews.com
This cuntbitch heffa Kendall is tap-dancing on my last nerve.
If I could've punched Kendall I would've. She was the cause of so much drama and trouble. Half the shit that went down wouldn't have happened if not for her irritating, needy, self-hating ass. Man! Get a grip. Yes, your life was [is] shit, but now you've got this fine piece of biker ass and you STILL continue to self-sabotage.
I was thru with her before the book began and utterly thru with her 30 pages into the book.
The back and forth between her and Megan was two seconds away from being too much and super saturated.
Kendall needed a good ole slap slap with her Dynasty drama
Sidenote : Christopher is
And Mortician needs to get with the Bailey program...QUICK
Ok first thing first, I LOVE this series. I have since the beginning. Its such a complex story with so many angles of deceit!!! I love a good angsty read and this gives you ANGST!!! So much angst. If you're going to read this book then you have already read the first three in the series, as reading this by itself would NOT work. You need to read them all. Now here is where it gets tricky. When we last left Johnnie and Kendall we thought they were doing pretty good, still some issues but it seemed like they were on their way. OHHHHH BOYYY!!!! They had such a long way to go and of you thought the last book held issues, you haven't seen anything yet. As always the writing is wonderful. It flows well, character voices are clear. I am a fan of Kathryn Kelly. Now... Kendall will drive you CRAZY!!! I did not and still dont like her LOL She got better by the end but for most of the story I wanted to do her harm. You may not agree when you read it. I still will continue with this series. I cannot stop reading. Please read this if you are liking this series. It is worth it in the end, you just need to breathe through it. :)

The continuation of Johnnie and Kendall was dangerous and heartbreaking! Will they find their HEA or will Kendall's insecurities and jealousy destroy their future? I love all the characters in this series, they are strong, funny and definitely badass! I can't wait to see what happens with other characters as more of the past is revealed and secrets come to light!
KENDELL is just crazy. For a person who is 30 she acts like she's 15 yrs old. Worse than any teenager ever. So DUMB. GOD HELP ME. Normally I try to finish a book no matter how annoying the characters are but Kendell just made me so crazy that I just couldn't continue any further.
