One weak moment in her otherwise moral life left Mollie Quinn in a terrible predicament--but she has chosen to face the consequences of her actions, and raise her newborn daughter on her own. But her troubles have only begun.
When she must endure every mother’s worst nightmare, Mollie is forced to do whatever it takes to find her child again--even if it means moving all the way to Montana to marry a man she’s never met.
NOTE: Mail Order Devastation is a sweet historical romance novel of 76,851 words. The story is clean and sweet, and contains NO descriptions of intimate encounters--however, it is NOT an inspirational/Christian story. Characters may hold some Christian beliefs, but they also may behave at times in imperfect ways.
A very nice story that is well written and clean. There are some unexpected twists and turns in the story but that is what makes it a good read. It’s a nice story that is about two people that fall in love. It is a quick short read and entertaining. I would recommend this book to anyone that likes mail-order bride books.
This book has a HEA, the courage & determination of a ruined young women was fierce. However, the anguish and pain of not only the heroine but also other mothers losses & some random scene of a man that brutalizes women. It's not a positive or uplifting story.
This mail order bride is trying to locate her missing baby. The only way this single mother can afford to travel from Boston to Helena, Montana is to answer the bride wanted ad. She marries and keeps her search a secret. When she finds the adoptive family the story gets complicated as she gets herself into trouble. There is much more to the story which makes it a good story.
A story of a mother's love especially the baby stolen and go enjoy up for adoption. Kellie was a strong person and determined to find her baby even become a mail order bride.
This was a good, enjoyable read with an unusual plot and characters credible in their emotions and actions. There was, maybe, one twist too much near the end, but it definitely didn't fall short of the expectations the blurb had left me with.
Love the mail order bride stories. This one has a little more adventure than some but it is very well-written and keeps your interest the whole way through.
