An interesting and captivating book that talks about the prophetic in a fun and fresh way.

I think it would have been helpful if a distinction was made between a God dream and manifesting the life you want because these 2 are not necessarily the same thing for everybody. This book doesn't address the tension between the two, If it occurs and how to overcome that?

Edwina said "naming your fears is crucial to overcoming them" - this helped me a lot.

It is encouraging to hear how God uses His Super to the natural we have to bring about supernatural outcomes that bless our lives and the lives of those around us. That was my biggest take away from the book and was encouraged to hear so many familiar and well known people that also have surrendered to God's plan for their lives which has led to abundance.

A Gift From God!

I saw Edwina discussing this book on Oprah's podcast. The Holy Spirit said "buy the book". Although I enjoyed the podcast, I was hesitant about purchasing the book. Then the Holy Spirit said
"support her". I picked up my tablet and purchase the kindle book immediately and started reading. I was in awe of what was being ministered to Me from these pages. I was awakened to dream again after being in a slump for so long. I began writing my childhood dreams and desires that I had let go of, and my dreams of today. Thank you Edwina for your obedience to write this book. I needed it. May God continue to bless you and your family and bless the work of your hands in Jesus' name.

Thank you, Edwina, for obeying God and embracing your calling. God used you to deliver such a powerful, inspirational message at a time when morale and optimism are at an all-time low. I listened to the audiobook and it was the jolt I needed to manifest my life. I love that the author added scriptures to illustrate that bold faith, bold moves, and bold action leads to manifesting your life. Truly inspiring. I hope she works on the workbook.

I bought 10 copies to give away as gifts. It is a refreshing voice in this day and age. A reminder to keep God first. I read to page 90 in one day, I couldn’t put it down. then it got a little bit slow, but I am not sure if it was me so that is why I still gave it 5 stars, then it had me skipping in stilettos by the end. Like another reviewer said it gave me a jolt back into my purpose. I was totally in a coma until reading this!

I’m usually a speed reader, but The World Is Waiting for You slowed me down in a way I couldn’t control.
This book meets you where you are; the space you’re in determines how you receive it. Reading this brought clarity around obedience, purpose, and the responsibility tied to becoming who the world needs.
This book ignited a fire in me. Read it with intention, and by the end, you’ll understand why God called Edwina to write it.

2⭐️ I’m sure this book is inspiration for someone, it simply wasn’t for me. I’d recommend it to a particular crowd but the language in this book was hard for me to be open to digesting. Some stuff was really good but there was more that wasn’t. Overall… 4/10 would recommend.
