Good introduction to communicating and controlling satellites. It's not super technical if it's what you're looking for. Gives people enough to keep their attention and allows people to start doing their own research.

Easy to read, good primer on a lot of technical topics. Helps you understand what you'll need to dig deeper into if yo're interested in amateur space.
