A one-woman war machine wreaks havoc while exploring her all-too-human heart in the final installment of this fight-filled LitRPG adventure series.
Accidentally banished to an alternate reality by her own hand, weapon-heavy cyborg NSLICE-00P has had to adapt to her new environment in order to survive. But she’s also evolved to thrive as less of a “kill everything” high-tech nightmare and more of a “try to be nice before killing everything” young lady capable of actual emotion, becoming the magic-wielding force for good known as Her Majesty Seero, queen of the Dobhar and true friend of the Empire. And the Empire needs a friend like her more than ever . . .
Because every corner of the land is in chaos. The higher echelons of power have been corrupted, and the Eastern Court is under attack by the Empire of the Sun, aided by the twisted Heralds of the New Dawn cultists. Not to mention, they’ve just unleashed a host of nightmarish creatures using every dungeon not under Seero’s control and protection. Civilization itself teeters on the edge of doom.
Now, along with her loyal cadre of friends and fighters, she’ll have to wage a war unlike any ever imagined. The enemy threatens to overwhelm the Empire with raw, unrelenting darkness, but for the now-legendary Seero, darkness is just an opportunity to do what she does light ’emup.
The fifth volume of the hit LitRPG fantasy series—with more than two million views on Royal Road—now available in paperback, ebook, and audiobook!
The first four books in this series are really really good. They have great characters, some world building, some great weak to strong growth, and even some laugh out loud funny moments. I really enjoyed the first four books. However none of that exists in the last book. From page one through the end of the book it is one long angst fight.
After the first book I just couldn't stop reading! I absolutely loved binging this series, and boy did it deliver. The world building, the relationships built, along with the deep character development are all astounding. With this book it feels like this might be an end to the series, and as much as I hate to see it to end I get why after all that's happened in the story. I am thoroughly satisfied with everything leading to the end. Would be cool to see more from this world, wether it be a continuation or a spin off series. Definitely will check it other worka by this author, highly recommended!
This is an excellent series. While it could certainly have more tension, that's simply not the goal and while I think Seero's power level is a little too high to keep things maximally interesting, Icalos has created an incredible world with an excellent cast of characters and a ton of satisfying arcs.
I think books 4 and 5 are the best books in this series and I would definitely recommend this one and the series as a whole.
Despite Zero being akin to a steamroller flattening all before her, this series finale neatly wrapped everything up.
The last quarter seemed rushed, but there were enough brush strokes for a picture to emerge. I was never very clear on the bad-guys motivations... and am still not. But the action was brisk and well explained.
A nice whimsical and fantastic series, with a very fresh take on dungeons and God's and isekai. Wish it lasted a bit longer, but it ended perfectly well enough. Nice job author.
This was a hard book to put down. The series kept me reading till the end. And I loved the exponential power growth of the main character. Unlike Japanese Isekais the story has an ending. I enjoyed it greatly.
