What is it like being a Certified Rolfer™? Read the December 2024 issue (Volume 52, Number 2) of Structure, Function, The Journal of the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute®. You’ll find a broad collection of articles, each showing an aspect of what the work of structural integration is about. If you look at our columns, you will be introduced to a Rolfer who trained with Dr. Rolf herself in the early 1970s and has had an engaging Rolfing® career ever since. Then, there is a philosophical article delving into how Wittgenstein’s philosophies can be applied to our somatic therapies. We have another installment of our Caution Column, where clients with cervical stenosis are discussed. The heart of this issue is four articles, each about or by a Rolfer who has lived a professional life of note by dedicating their life to the work of Dr. Rolf.
