The journey that Riven and Sapphire are on is a difficult one, they’ve lost Zoey to the night fae a dark angel that swooped down an stole her like a thief in the night and are on a perilous mission to complete the potion that will save Rivens father for the King’s loosing his mind from the frozen lock that has been there driving the King to madness. The one solice is the love that has bonded Riven and Sapphire two different people not only from different worlds but different courts that of winter and summer although that didn’t matter even with Sapphire being from the human world there bond is growing stronger that not even the realisation that Sapphire is also part Vampire couldn’t possible destroy the love that is building between them. However this love although pure and genuine is going to be tested to the point where it could help or destroy them both only time will tell.
Great book recommend read and looking forward to the next book 👍

Sapphire and Riven continue on their journey to find a potion to cure the king and then to save Zoey from the dark fae. Supper suspenseful and a very fast paced story with a cliffhanger that I can't wait for the next book to come out!
I love the Star Touched series. Sapphire’s story is my favourite so far, and I cannot handle this freaking cliffhanger !!!!! I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen between her and Riven and i’m excited to see where this whole star touched story is going.
This is another great instalment in this most engrossing series.
Sapphire and Riven are still working towards getting his father sane, then to rescuing Zoey from the Night Court. The challenges they face are unimaginable, but as long as they are together, things should work out. But will they?
Warning there is a big cliffhanger at the end. If you don't like them you may want to wait until the next book is finished before you read this one. I must admit I love Riven! But he does something really stupid in this book. If it were me I would not have agreed with the dryad! Sapphire could have changed everything by not reacting impulsively. I'm pretty sure Celeste said that they would have to negotiate for the sap. Sapphire totally forgot that part. I will give her the benefit of the doubt because she was raised human and isn't used to dryads. However, she didn't have to agree to the horrible trust's demand that Riven give her his "impossible love" as the dryad called it. Yep, you guessed it they let the dryad take their love away from Riven. Instead of the obsessed man that held her in his arms as she astral projected to a star he becomes a cold strategist. They could have looked for another tree that produces the same sap! I definitely would have tried that first. Sapphire could have attacked the dryad & tried to drink her blood. When they later meet Eros she could have tried what I just mentioned on him too. God or not I definitely would have tried or even tried to call out to Celeste because she did tell her to if she needed help. The Fae in this book are your typical dark do anything for entertainment type. Forget feelings because the dark Fae don't have any which I think makes them love preying on the humans even more. Zoey is kidnapped to the dark Fae territories which is to say the vampires. Zoey is to be a "pet" for the royals. Which basically means breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a snack. She is one of the many humans at the castle. Her owner vampire is obsessed with her. He is so captivated by her he looses control and kills another person at the castle for touching Zoey. I will say this Zoey shouldn't have been anywhere near that guy. He was creepy & she knew it! If they guy makes you physically ill to be around him because he is twice as obsessed with her than her owner she shouldn't have been playing with fire! Bottom line is she can't trust anyone where she's staying. Even the humans have their own agenda. I don't think she is going to find out what she needs to know to make an informed decision because vampires live a long time. Most of the humans don't know the history of everything that has happened in the castle. And everyone is trying to manipulate each other to accomplish their own goals. Zoey better watch her back because she can't afford to be sent to the barns.
Sapphire with her strong magic is still trying to save her best friend, Zoey who has no magic. Sapphire is assisted by her "boyfriend"?? Riven, though a cliffhanger at the end may be changing their status for the worse. To be resolved in book 4.............
In this universe, there is the warm "Summer Court", the cold "Winter Court" & the evil "Night Court".
In a magically binding agreement, Riven has agreed to help Sapphire save Zoey after Sapphire helps him save his father.
This volume shows them slowly moving towards those goals.
Ms Madow does a great job of making her characters believable & relatable. Also, while this adult really enjoys her work, she does a great job of keeping her books appropriate for young teens.
Reccomended.
I received an advanced reader's copy & am leaving an unbiased review.
Sapphire and Riven are traveling through the forest to reach the Ancient One. Who, it turns out, is Celeste, the Goddess that star touched Sapphire. She tells Sapphire what she needs to know to finish the potion but the ingredients are in the Summer Court. They get there via a portal, only to be stopped by a dryad who wants one thing. Riven's love for Sapphire. And giving it up sets off something else they never even expected.
Meanwhile, Zoey is still trapped in the night court and things are getting tricky. Aerix is territorial and those who touch her, die. She has to walk a tight line of appeasing him while also not giving into him, and that line is starting to blur. But she has to survive, no thrive, if she wants to make it out.
Both are strong in their own way and I can't wait to see how this story ends!
It's so hard to write a review without spoilers for this! There's so much I want to comment on.
The story picks up immediately where book 2 left off. You have to start at book 1. You'll be immediately sucked into the story and be determined to devour it in one sitting. I promise. Totally unputdownable.
I hate cliffhangers, but Michelle Madow loves them. Cruel. And this one? Jeez Louise. Way to tear my heart out. I'll be on pins and needles waiting for book 4.
I love the POVs we get from Sapphire on her journey with Riven and then Zoey as she tries to survive the Dark Fae/ vampire kingdom. I especially appreciated when the POVs changed in this installment. They were perfectly timed. Bravo you brilliant author you.
This is the third book in the Star Touched series and continues from the second book where Sapphire and Riven are still trying not only to find the cure for the king, but to rescue Sapphire's best friend Zoe who was kidnapped into the dark Fae realm. All the while, and as close as Sapphire and Riven are, she still is keeping a life changing secret that could affect how their relationship is. This is a fast paced, page turning story line that keeps you totally engaged with the characters and story. But be prepared...there is a cliff hanger and now I can't wait to see the dangling threads left at the end come together in the next book. I highly recommend this series and this book is a great addition! I received an ARC of this book but the opinions expressed here are strictly my own.
First off, Zoey is clearly not the same character as book 1. She’s pretty much TSTL. Her arrogance is maddening. She’s irritating beyond words. I find myself hoping they send her to the barn and be done with it.
The crazy insta-love between original main characters was still completely lacking in depth and real feeling. It was 1000% cringe. Then the god of love? FFS. This whole thing is a series of WTFs. It’s like the author took every random idea possible for a book and started mixing them together in a blender and this is the result.
Still very juvenile. But thankfully short as well.
Just finished it last night and WOW! That ending...I didn't realise I was so badly holding out for something else until it happened. Riven and Sapphire's relationship in this book was everything. "I'll fall in love with you again - I promise" Absolutely melting. Can't wait to see how they overcome that ending. Zoey's story is also heating up. I'm excited to see what plans she makes to get herself out of there. The overall plot was interesting and the story flowed easily. Can't wait for the next one.
Third book continuing this series. What a ride! This author can definitely tell a story. I did not want to stop reading. Yes she leaves behind a cliffhanger. Yes she enjoys our groans seen she does this. I even think I hear a phantom witch’s cackle. Sapphire and Winter Prince Riven are on their mission to find the ancient woman to save the Winter King and then find and save Sapphire’s best friend, Zoey who is stuck in the Night Court. We get glimpses of both timelines until Sapphire’s cliffhanging moment. I received a free copy of this book via BookFunnel and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I love this series and the journey, ( though tough at times) that our characters are taking. It’s a well written fast paced, exciting and gripping read that draws you in and has you hooked and glued to the story as it continues to unfold. Sapphires is still struggling with her secret whilst helping Riven save his father and also Zoey from the dark fae. Dark, dangerous, it’s captivating and enthralling and it’s one hell of an adventure that I dont want to end.
This series is great & this book was just as magical as all the others. The characters are developing & so feel real. I feel like I know them. I feel like they are friends. I could not get enough of this book. I usually get sort of tired of series but not with this one. There is so much mystery, love, hate, magic, twist & turns. I can not wait until the 4th book is out.
Of the Fae Bound series, this has been the one I’ve enjoyed most so far so 3.25 ⭐️ I feel like we got much better moments of character development than previous books. The structure of back and forth between Zoey and Sapphire POVs is disorienting at times since they’re in such different places. BUT I am starting to see the threads of how this is connected to the wider Star Touched story. And we got some hints for the fourth Star Touched! Overall the third book in this series is the one I like most and the cliffhanger is going to haunt me until the next one comes out haha
Man Saphire just gets new things thrown at her that she didn't know and when she keeps these secrets even from Riven it puts a big damper on their relationship. Loved the realistic way the two of them make me feel and even with secrets kept that Riven will still protect her. Love this creative world.
No way!!!! What a cliffhanger!! I was not expecting that, what an amazing 3rd book. This book gave us so much more than I could imagine , genius! This is just getting better and better, and I love that we have two story lines to follow. I need to know the next part ASAP! Brilliant book and brilliant characters, bring on book 4! ✨❤️
Wow this book has kept me gripped. With all the drama in the storylines with its twist and turns for the main characters . I cant wait to see what happens next. I wish I had waited until the series was complete, because the wait will be excruciating as I like to binge read and stay in the reading flow!
Well is this an adventure or is this an adventure. I was engrossed from the start to the finish I did not see coming, not at all. I loved it. This author can’t half write a cracking fantasy that’s for sure. What is going to happen in the next one, I cannot wait to find out. Highly recommended.
Again, I would love if this was a book just about Zoey. I really couldn't care about the main character. The book felt like it was just filler so the author could make her four-by-four style of series.
I can't wait for the next one. What a freaking cliffhanger! Left me speechless! Such a great series. Loving everything about the lore so far. Almost forgot it was a star touched book.
I love all of Michelle’s books! This story feels like it’s only just beginning and there is so much left that can happen! I can’t wait for the next one, the cliffhanger is driving me insane, I can’t wait to find out what happens next!
Unless you have read a completely different series this, excerpt will be confusing. You will not be able to understand it. Unfortunately this excerpt is not of the same caliber as the first of the series. It’s as if it has a different personality.
Talk about leaving cliffhangers for an ending I'm just glad the next book is already done and I don't have to wait to find out what happens next I do love the way your mind works even with all the twists and turns and cliffhangers
Magic destroying free will is not entertaining. Storytelling is suspenseful and heartfelt but destroying true love is not … oh yeah entertaining at all.
Sapphire Hayes finds out she's fae… but then finds out that she’s half fae & half vampire and she’s scared to admit it to even herself, much less to winter prince Riven. When he finds out in the most shocking way possible, he feels deceived and saddened she didn’t tell him. Sapphire is ashamed and worries that not even their bond will help him to forgive her.
Yet again, Michelle Madow takes you on a trip in the fae realms of the Star Touched Universe. Book 2 left on a cliffhanger and this book doesn’t disappoint with a cliffhanger of its own, and boy was it a doozie! After all the ups and downs of books 1 to 3, I’m super excited to hear the fates of Sapphire, Zoey and Riven in the fourth book, Broken Star and wondering if that will be the last in the Star Touched Universe or will there be more of Sapphire and Riven?!
