Elle Harris is an up and coming author trying to get her first manuscript published when her sister springs a wedding on her and asks her to be the maid of honor. A lesson commences in reading the fine print before saying yes when she finds out that not only will she be planning the wedding, that is to take place in the Groom’s native home of England , but she will be aided by his best man. A man she has sworn to loathe for the rest of eternity and then some. Jack Darvill is an arrogant and wealthy man who sees Elle as nothing but a brash, loud mouth who is frankly appalling. Tempers rise and sparks fly between the two as they juggle registering for gifts, picking out the cake, and making sure everything is ready for the bride and groom to tie the knot. A twist on Jane Austen’s classic Pride and Prejudice. Will Elle be able to see past the lies of the good looking and exciting George Irvine in order to see the real Jack Darvill? Will it be too late to realize the man of her dreams can be found outside of a romance novel? Sometimes opposites attract and the last person you can picture yourself with is the one person you can’t do without.
