This was a good second chance at love Christmas story…
Authoress Phoenixx Rose gave us a great second at love Christmas story. I would’ve given it 5⭐️, but it desperately needed to be edited.
That dang Shyrah irked my motherfudgesicklestix nerves, and really needed to be punched in her disrespectful azz mouth😡. I hated that it took tragedy to strike for her to get her ish together, but I’m also thankful to did and apologized to Kendra.
Quincy was best friend goals fr. Despite his shenanigans, the man spoke nothing but the truth, and kept it real with Laken when he was effing up.
Laken & Kendra were so in love. After 10 years apart their love for each other was so evident. Although they came from different backgrounds, they were so much alike. They were times that I wanted to shake the ish out of both of them, but once they decided to stop fighting their feelings and embrace them they were inseparable.

Lmao the MMC is white and he was bullying the FMC in highschool but claims to love her ABSOLUTELY NOT. On top of that she gotta do something strange for some change for her job to get funding and something about that just don’t sit right with me, I can’t get into no previous bully-romance cus they don’t give IMO. Like sorry miss author this not my kinda holiday read lmao

Great story. Laken thinking he was the big man with money went about getting the girl who captured his heart at first glance got her only to loose her all.from peer pressure, but when fate stepped in he was given another chance to right his wrongs. Kendra not only gave love a chance again but melted the ice around Laken's heart about Xmas.

I enjoyed this story I never read a BWWM even though it was a Christmas story I loved it. I liked Laken and then when I found out he did to Kendra in high school. Then he won me over when he redeemed himself.

So….It’s been awhile since I read a book by Phoenixx Rose and I was torn between rating this book 4 or 5 stars. I actually enjoyed it, but there were a few errors that pushed me to 4 stars. It was interesting reading about the past and possibly present relationship between Kendra and Laken.

Laken definitely had swag for a white man. I knew he loved Kendra. I am just happy that he didn't lose his life in that car accident. I also hope that Kendra works it out with Laken. Great Read!
