Carver and Morgan
When a “Beast” of a man saves a woman who has been abused throughout her life things only get better. Beast/Carver is everything dark but for Morgan he shows her light.
I couldn’t put this book down until the last page was turned. Loved it.

DNF for now
I just cant with this one. I really wanted to read this, I love an innocent heroine saved by a villain, but im soooooo fucking sick and tired of this author’s nonsense in skipping the first love scene. This is blasphemous in romance—-the first scene is the climax (no pun intended) to all the tension and yearning, its their first time discovering each other, the exhilaration of becoming one, of awakening and initiation, of forging a new bond of intimacy. And to skip it, is RIDICULOUS.
Seriously this author should know better. Shes written smoking hot first time scenes in previous books so theres no fucking excuse for this fucktardation. And so im gonna pause on this one. Take a break. Maybe ill come back to it when im in the mood to be let down and disappointed

Carver asesina a la familia de Morgan y se casa con ella para Evitar conflictos, Morgan es una Chica que no conoce mucho ya que fue encerrada la mayor parte de su vida pero su vida da un Giro al Casarse con carver.
Me gusto la historia pero pienso que Carver era mayormente indiferente a Morgan cada acercamiento fue por Morgan me hubiera encantado mas participacion de carver y Andy jajajaja siempre decia dime que pasa y Morgan preguntaba algo y el oh! Deberias preguntarle a el jajajaja.

Wow! Just…Wow! The fact that, after being raised by the people she was raised by, I’m amazed that Morgan was as caring as she is. Watching Carver care for and draw her to him was mesmerizing. Loved this book!.

Great Story!!
Loved reading Beast’s Wife. I was hooked from the beginning and loved this book. Morgan and Carver’s story was a really fast read and the chemistry between them was super HOT too.

Villains - Book 2 - Beast's Wife - By Sam Crescent
This is the second book in the Villains Series and can be read as a standalone as the characters from book 1 are not mentioned but still worth a read I think. In this story we meet Carver "The Beast" Turner. He is known by everyone as The Beast, a myth, a legend, the thing from nightmares, the mere whisper of his name instills fear to all that hear it. He has earnt that title and fear by his actions throughout the years, he punishes all those that deserve it, he takes pleasure in his reputation as he commands respect from others or fear the consequences if he doesn't receive it. He is not known for being a nice man but for his new bride Morgan Rose he is definitely not a Beast. He treats her with a care and tenderness that others do not see and it is a thing of beauty. Morgan at the age of twenty one has already seen more horror than anyone should have had to. When her family marry her off to The Beast he is not at all what she expected but all she wants fir her future. I loved this story, the tenderness the Beast showed to Morgan, how he took care of her and how they shared so many firsts together. Their chemistry was a perfect build up and was delicious in every way. Andy was a great character and Roxy was a heart melter. It was all going well until Romone tried to destroy their happiness. A really great story, well written, with strong characters and kept you engaged throughout. I loved it and know you will too. Happy Reading.

I have no idea how Sam does it but she can come with some of the most fascinating characters that are not just beleivable but so like peole you know. Now the situations might not be every day but the emotions and the inner dialogue is more than relateable.
Morgan and Carver are rocky at best in the beginning but love has a way (well when Sam writes it) of developingin the most strangest of places and making you see not only love but the reasoning behind the actions that take place. The entire time I was reading I was thinking Morgan really does end up as the princess. Funny that I didn't see her as the fighter that Carver saw. But ypu start to see her a little at time especially when Andy told her ask Carver. Andy planted that seed and the flower flourished.
Carver was a little harder to crack. I got the impression that it was more about bever being abandoned again or depending on anyone. I think his weakness was his makeshift family and I think the introduction of Morgan sealed the family dynamic: mother - Morgan, father - Carver/Beast, baby - Mischa, older brother - Andy, and the staff as little cousins, little sisters and brothers, and we can't forget the little dog Roxy. When you have nothing to lose, ypu dont gamble, ypu protect them with everything you have.
Now can we get a Rottweiler named Precious? Lol!!!!
I am a diehard fan of Sam's and always will be!!!!!!.

Beast's Wife is Book 2 of the Villains series. It's a short and steamy OTT, opposites-attract, grumpy-sunshine, instalove, arranged marriage, age-gap, curvy virgin gets her morally gray hunk darkish romance. Morgan is a young curvy girl who was physically and verbally abused by her evil criminal family her entire life, yet she has remained sweet and innocent. Carver, known as the Beast, is a hunky, grumpy, ruthless, scarred villain with a heart of gold for those he loves and trusts. He plays by his own rules and is known for taking his enemies out when they come for him. He ends up marrying Morgan when her family offers her as he is taken with the curvy beauty and wants to protect her from her evil family. He takes care of Morgan when she is ill and treats her tenderly. Morgan is drawn to Carver and wants a real marriage. Their journey is beautiful. Even though Carver is scary when crossed, they way he loves and cares for Morgan is everything. Their chemistry was so hot, and the ending was happy after a lot of violence and drama. It was so good, but be sure to read those trigger warnings.

Carver was a law unto himself, he lived his life the way he wanted to but marrying Morgan had given him something more to enjoy. He would never change his ways but she seemed to accept him the way he was.
Morgan’s life had been one of abuse, getting to know her husband and living fear free was a challenge and one she started to embrace. She didn’t fear her husband was coming to care for him.
They shouldn’t have been together, they shouldn’t have fallen in love, but they did and he would burn the world to the ground for her in this super emotional read!.

When her crime family got rid of her while she was sick and feverish Morgan couldn’t remember much of the ceremony but when she awakens days later it was to find out The Beast was the one who cared for her while she’d been ill.
Carver is a complicated man but it doesn’t take long for Morgan to breech his defenses and learn she has nothing to fear from her new husband as she had with the family who had abused her for years.
Good writing and well crafted characters made this short read a captivating one and I enjoyed how the protective beast and his beauty found forever love with each other.

This is a charming book that renews your faith that everyone has love in their heart. When Morgan’s family gives her to the man they call the beast, they thought they were uniting in a business arrangement but as he realized what she had been through and that they brought her to him on their wedding day so sick she was delusional, he decided her family wasn’t fit to live. As he fell more and more in love with her, he knew if he was to keep what was precious to him safe he had to get rid of his enemies. The characters are heart warming and keep you engaged throughout the story. You find yourself cheering for an antihero and the love he has for his wife.

Morgan lived a horrible life. Her family abused her all the time. She knew nothing but fear with them. When she is rescued by The Beast, she didn’t know what to expect. His scars don’t scare her and his kindness is shocking. Carver Turner aka The Beast is not a nice man. He is known for being a cold cruel man. When it comes to Morgan, he is anything but kind and protective. He wants to give her everything that she never had. These two are broken in their own way. We learn about Romone, the man that is pure evil. I love that Carver takes his time and lets Morgan set the pace in the relationship. She brings him peace in his heart and soul. He gives her strength and love.

He marries her and nurses her back to health,
This story is fascinating in their slow burn relationship which turns red hot. Morgan learns to trust and love Carver, and their intimacy is red hot.
I really enjoyed all the interactions between the main characters. They were together working on their developing relationship through most of the book, Trust, intimacy, friendship and love flowed from their constant interactions.
It was really quite a beautiful love story.

In order to appease the Beast/Carver, they gave Morgan to him as his bride. It ceremony happened when she had been delirious with illness. When he found the scarring on her body, he knew there was no way he could let them live.
Carver's reputation precedes him but his new wife does not seem to be intimidated or scared of her husband. She is so sweet that Carver finds someone abusing her abhorrent. He will do anything he can to protect his sweet wife.
I loved this pairing, they were what the both needed.

Loved it! I have read other novels by this author and really enjoyed them. This novel did not disappoint. I was excited to jump into this novel. From the first chapter this novel pulled me in and held on tight. This novel was a quick read becausse I could not put this novel down. I loved Carver and Morgan's story. Morgan had been thru so much and kept on going. I loved Carver, I loved the way he nurtured Morgan. Their chemistry was so so good! Once I started reading I could not put this novel down. I needed to know what was happening next. Loved it! I can hardly wait to see what this author has coming next. So good!

This book was exciting, page-turning and filled with angst and drama. This book is part of a series and can be read as a standalone but I recommend starting with Scarred Wife. This book was very emotional and had me reaching for the tissues a few times. I love Sam Crescent’s story telling ability with her books. She always has me hanging on her words needing to know what happens next. This book was original and beautifully written. The characters were very complex with heartbreaking backstories and chemistry that will have you swooning and cheering for that HEA.

Morgan Rose has had a tough, tumultuous life to say the least. Ending up with Carver Turner "The Beast" could be the best thing that ever happened to her or the worst. The man was feared by everyone and she had heard nothing good about him at all. Morgan quickly learns that he'll go to any lengths to protect what's his and now she was his. Their journey is intense, dramatic, intriguing and completely consuming. It's a great one sitting read that keeps you turning the pages to see what's next.

I love a good story with a hero, who is only good to her and Carver aka "The Beast" is a perfect example of that. He is hot, protective, caring and loving.
Morgan had lived all her life with the abuse from her family, but she learned that she can trust and love her husband.
Their story is captivating, hot and beautiful.

This was such a fun read. I expect, with this author's mafia romances, that the gal gets sold to the 'bad guy' and they work their way to love. In this story, our Beast, Carver, couldn't handle how Morgan had been abused and he truly dealt with her family. Wow! She couldn't help falling for him when he showed her nothing but kindness. Of course, their chemistry was off-the-charts hot and I love that they built such a strong bond. Expect to get caught up in the angst, drama, danger, action and steam when you crack this baby open ;D

Morgan is an innocent and kind hearted and Carver, well he's known as the beast, no mercy, no cares until Morgan becomes his wife, her family tried to get rid of her so he got rid of them, but in doing so it was seen as a challenge to the boss Romone, a man he saw as his enemy, but what has now started no one should survive, except maybe a beast with the one thing he holds dear on the line? Well written engaging fast paced steamy, violence and more.

This story was everything. It starts off with Beast (Carver) and Morgan already married. She was badly abused by her own family and Beast ended up "unaliving" them for how they treated her. This story just goes through their day to day life and how the relationship comes together. But when old enemies come for Beast, it's Morgan that is in danger. He will do whatever he has to do to keep her safe. Another wonderful start to another series. Oh, I loved "Andy" in this story!!

I absolutely LOVED this story! This was one of the best books by Sam, and an awesome way to end the year. It's amazing how cruel family can be and how love and acceptance can be found with the most unbelievable people. Carver and Morgan are my new favorite couple. Morgan is so innocent and married off to Carver, known as the beast. They are an unlikely couple and as they embark on their marriage, make this book hard to put down. This story grabs you and doesn't let go.

Morgan's married to Carver but became ill right after. She knows him as the Beast. She doesn't know his first name or his first name nor does she have a ring. She just knows he protects people and punishes the bad. She learns how to start fresh without her overbearing family, plays air hockey, falls in love. I love this book! Morgan is the severely abused daughter of a crime family who gives her to "The Beast" to marry. Carver has no use for them, so he kills them for what they did to Morgan. I love the plot of this book. I was glued to my Kindle until I finished it! Despite his reputation, Carver is a gentle giant to Morgan and those he takes in. Excellent book!!!!

This is my second Sam Crescent book and I feel the same way I felt about her first book. If you read the blurb, then you’ve read the entire book. Her books lack character development and growth. The blurb tells you exactly what the book it about and the book itself just says the same thing with just more words.

I so love these authors books a beautiful read. Morgan has never had a life with her family was always cruelty. until the beast Marrys her. Carver removes her family. and Morgan learns what love is. but with the beast you never safe his enemy's. always want to take him out. a hot and intense read , you will fall in love with both characters.

The FMC might appear weak, but the MMC recognized her inner strength. She had more to offer than what was immediately visible.

Morgan is a sweet woman who grew up in a criminal family. Carver is a man that has all the criminals scared. He takes revenge for Morgan by killing her entire family, which seems to be no great loss. He is an unlikely savior, a man who takes his marriage to Morgan seriously. With him she is able to grow more confident and comfortable. Good read.
