CUTIESSSS. Literally the most greenest ML you'll ever see in a manwha/webtoon. Their relationship is so healthy and cute. Literally couple goals. Loved every part of their relationship. From their meeting to the very end.

31-1-2026. My second reread. This one stays a comfort read for me. I felt like enough time had passed for me to pick it up again and relive the experience again. The ML is such a green flag and tries to avoid misunderstandings. It’s nice to see. The more recent webtoon/manga/manwha have the more toxic tropes nowadays. So this was a wholesome and refreshing read.

Oh this was so sweet. I loved the fluff, the surprising groundedness and unexpected maturity of the series. I also loved the balance of fictional perfection and human flaws of the characters in here. This is like 110% feel-good from start to finish. Highly recommended to read to uplift yourself.

Everything about this series is beautiful. I pulled an all-nighter for this one. It's worth it. You won't stop reading until you tear through the last page. That's how good this manhwa is. And the divine art style!! I swear!! Everything is perfect. All I'm asking now is a korean drama adaptation of this series. I'm going to start by saying the art was absolutely stunning. After reading this one, other manwhas seemed to have bad quality when in reality it's just that this one is absolutely breathtaking.

I would say the story itself is "normal"—not a lot of drama. Yet, the story was so brilliantly presented that I fell in love with it. The MMC is, perhaps, one of the biggest green flags I've ever encountered. The FMC has gone through some hardships and the evolution from "this happened to me" to "this happened to me, but I will continue working hard and learning" is SO motivating. Becoming an actress was not something that happened easily—which makes the story feel real—and I enjoyed that because it's a hard world to get in.

The ending??? THIS is a true HEA!!! SO many endearing and emotional scenes!!!

💌A short summary: FMC has been trying to be an actress for 7 years with little success. She finally gets a more important role in a K-drama. Problem? Her ex-boyfriend is one of the main leads—and he is an utter asshole. But MMC (one of the hottest actors at the moment) is another lead—and the man who cheered her up once back in time.

Uma Estrela que Surge Durante o Dia foi uma leitura que me conquistou principalmente pelo romance saudável e pela evolução dos protagonistas. A história acompanha Hwang Yura, uma atriz que luta há anos para conseguir reconhecimento na indústria do entretenimento, e Kang Seunghyeon, um ator famoso que, aos poucos, passa a enxergar nela um talento que muitos ignoravam.

O romance dos dois é construído de forma natural, sem pressa. Eles começam como colegas, criam confiança, tornam-se amigos e, somente depois, iniciam um relacionamento. Isso faz com que cada momento entre eles pareça verdadeiro e muito fofo. É um casal que cresce junto, sem ciúmes exagerados ou dramas desnecessários, mostrando uma relação baseada em respeito, confiança e parceria.

Um dos maiores destaques da obra é o protagonista masculino. Seunghyeon não tenta "salvar" a Yura nem conquistar o sucesso por ela. Ele acredita no potencial dela, oferece apoio quando necessário e a protege nos momentos difíceis, mas permite que ela caminhe com as próprias pernas e conquiste tudo pelo próprio talento. Isso torna o relacionamento dos dois ainda mais bonito.

Já o ex-namorado da Yura é, sem dúvidas, um dos personagens mais desprezíveis da história. Ele nunca valorizou a protagonista, diminuía seus sonhos e terminou o relacionamento da forma mais cruel possível: entregando a ela um convite para o próprio casamento. O pior é que esse casamento nem aconteceu por amor. Ele se casou por interesse, já que a família da noiva tinha influência na indústria do entretenimento e isso poderia beneficiar sua carreira.

Mesmo depois disso, ele ainda teve a coragem de espalhar que a Yura só havia conseguido entrar para a agência de Seunghyeon porque teria se envolvido com ele, como se o sucesso dela não fosse fruto do próprio esforço. Foi mais uma tentativa de diminuir o talento da protagonista e desmerecer todas as dificuldades que ela enfrentou para chegar onde chegou.

Quando a carreira dele começa a desandar, ele finalmente percebe quem realmente esteve ao seu lado durante os momentos difíceis. Enquanto namoravam, era a Yura quem o apoiava, acreditava nele e o incentivava. Só depois de perder tudo é que ele percebe o valor dela e tenta reconquistá-la. Mas já era tarde. Foi extremamente satisfatório ver que ela não voltou atrás e escolheu seguir sua vida ao lado de alguém que realmente a amava e respeitava.

Também gostei do fato de a história mostrar um lado mais sombrio da indústria do entretenimento ao abordar o chamado "teste do sofá". A forma como a Yura fica abalada diante dessa situação transmite bem o peso desse tipo de abuso e mostra as dificuldades enfrentadas por muitas pessoas que sonham em seguir essa carreira.

Outro momento marcante é quando Seunghyeon defende a Yura diante das atitudes abusivas do ex, principalmente quando ele tenta invadir novamente sua vida. Ele a protege sem agir como alguém controlador, apenas garantindo que ela esteja segura e respeitando suas decisões.

O final é emocionante. O pedido de casamento foi muito fofo, e a cena em que a Yura dedica seu prêmio ao marido e ao bebê que está esperando foi uma das mais bonitas da obra. Os filhos dos dois também são lindíssimos, especialmente o menino, e fiquei com vontade de ver muito mais da vida deles como família. Senti falta de alguns capítulos extras mostrando o casamento, a criação dos filhos e o cotidiano deles.

No geral, Uma Estrela que Surge Durante o Dia entrega um romance doce, maduro e emocionante. Além de acompanhar a ascensão profissional da protagonista, a obra mostra que o verdadeiro sucesso vem do talento, da perseverança e de estar ao lado de pessoas que acreditam em você. O ex escolheu a ambição e o interesse; Seunghyeon escolheu amar e apoiar a Yura. No fim, quem realmente venceu foi ela, conquistando sua carreira, formando uma família feliz e encontrando alguém que sempre enxergou seu verdadeiro valor.

Minha nota é 4,5 de 5 estrelas. A única razão para não ser uma nota máxima é que o epílogo deixou um gostinho de quero mais. Eu adoraria ter acompanhado um pouco mais do casamento, da vida em família e do crescimento dos filhos desse casal tão apaixonante.

It’s gentle, soft, and emotionally reassuring in a way that doesn’t demand too much from us, but still leaves us feeling comforted. The story unfolds quietly, focusing more on emotional safety than dramatic conflict, and that’s exactly where its charm lies.

What really stands out is the relationship dynamic. Unlike many romance stories driven by misunderstanding or control, this one is rooted in mutual respect and steady affection. The male lead is supportive without being overbearing, and the female lead is allowed to exist as herself—flaws, boundaries, and all. Their connection feels healthy, almost intentionally so, which makes it refreshing rather than boring.

The pacing is perfect for me. The story takes its time building trust, small moments, and everyday intimacy. While this can feel uneventful for readers craving high drama, it fits the tone of the story well. Daytime Star isn’t trying to shock us. It’s trying to soothe us.

Not me who at 6:30 am who sat up and binge read this because I couldn't put it down.

It's rare to find such a well produced webcomic I feel. All the characters are really interesting, even the villain. The series isn't really all that dramatic, which was refreshing. Also there were panels and art here that were so gorgeous it was unfair to look at. Every character is this webcomic was blessed with the pretty tax.

The relationship, save for one argument that rubbed me the wrong way, was great. The ML was so green flag, you could look up "green flag" in an encyclopedia and it would just be a photo of Seunghyeon's handsome ass face. Taken as a whole, the FL is endearing, if somewhat bland throughout, though she does take up for herself in surprising ways.

All in all definitely worth the read.

The amount of squealing and writhing I did because of this story needs to be studied. I was up until 4am this morning and then spent most of today reading this 😭 Fair to say I could barely put it down. The art on this was just FANTASTIC. And the story!? And the details?! And the love story?! Like UGH!
I literally cannot pinpoint one thing I didn’t like about this. The ML for once isn't a romanticized red flag!! He's green through and through and had me screaming into my pillow at ungodly hours in the morning😭 (sorry to my neighbors...). I genuinely cannot find one bad thing to say about this story.

La historia comienza de como "Hwang Yura", desea ser una actriz reconocida, una estrella, que sus esfuerzos en la industria hayan valido la pena. Aunque su camino para lograrlo tiene muchos obstáculos, conoce a "Seunghyeon Kang", quien prácticamente le ayuda a poder comenzar poco a poco vivir ese sueño, a darse cuenta de que lo tiene todo para serlo, solo necesita algo de ayuda y en quienes confiar realmente.

Es una historia de amor que lo tiene todo, cada segundo vale la pena realmente. Puedes ver como tratan de equilibrar tanto su trabajo como su vida amorosa, como superan juntos cada obstáculo y les une aún más.
