CUTIESSSS. Literally the most greenest ML you'll ever see in a manwha/webtoon. Their relationship is so healthy and cute. Literally couple goals. Loved every part of their relationship. From their meeting to the very end.

31-1-2026. My second reread. This one stays a comfort read for me. I felt like enough time had passed for me to pick it up again and relive the experience again. The ML is such a green flag and tries to avoid misunderstandings. It’s nice to see. The more recent webtoon/manga/manwha have the more toxic tropes nowadays. So this was a wholesome and refreshing read.

Everything about this series is beautiful. I pulled an all-nighter for this one. It's worth it. You won't stop reading until you tear through the last page. That's how good this manhwa is. And the divine art style!! I swear!! Everything is perfect. All I'm asking now is a korean drama adaptation of this series. I couldn't help but picture Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin as main cast though, lol. (Reviewed Feb 19, 2023)

I'm going to start by saying the art was absolutely stunning. After reading this one, other manwhas seemed to have bad quality when in reality it's just that this one is absolutely breathtaking.

I would say the story itself is "normal"—not a lot of drama. Yet, the story was so brilliantly presented that I fell in love with it. The MMC is, perhaps, one of the biggest green flags I've ever encountered. The FMC has gone through some hardships and the evolution from "this happened to me" to "this happened to me, but I will continue working hard and learning" is SO motivating. Becoming an actress was not something that happened easily—which makes the story feel real—and I enjoyed that because it's a hard world to get in.

The ending??? THIS is a true HEA!!! SO many endearing and emotional scenes!!!

💌A short summary: FMC has been trying to be an actress for 7 years with little success. She finally gets a more important role in a K-drama. Problem? Her ex-boyfriend is one of the main leads—and he is an utter asshole. But MMC (one of the hottest actors at the moment) is another lead—and the man who cheered her up once back in time.

Daytime Star feels like a breath of fresh air after heavier romance reads. It’s gentle, soft, and emotionally reassuring in a way that doesn’t demand too much from us, but still leaves us feeling comforted. The story unfolds quietly, focusing more on emotional safety than dramatic conflict, and that’s exactly where its charm lies.

What really stands out is the relationship dynamic. Unlike many romance stories driven by misunderstanding or control, this one is rooted in mutual respect and steady affection. The male lead is supportive without being overbearing, and the female lead is allowed to exist as herself—flaws, boundaries, and all. Their connection feels healthy, almost intentionally so, which makes it refreshing rather than boring.

The pacing is perfect for me. The story takes its time building trust, small moments, and everyday intimacy. While this can feel uneventful for readers craving high drama, it fits the tone of the story well. Daytime Star isn’t trying to shock us. It’s trying to soothe us.

Not me who at 6:30 am who sat up and binge read this because I couldn't put it down.

It's rare to find such a well produced webcomic I feel. All the characters are really interesting, even the villain. The series isn't really all that dramatic, which was refreshing. Also there were panels and art here that were so gorgeous it was unfair to look at. Every character is this webcomic was blessed with the pretty tax.

The relationship, save for one argument that rubbed me the wrong way, was great. The ML was so green flag, you could look up "green flag" in an encyclopedia and it would just be a photo of Seunghyeon's handsome ass face. Taken as a whole, the FL is endearing, if somewhat bland throughout, though she does take up for herself in surprising ways.

All in all definitely worth the read.

The amount of squealing and writhing I did because of this story needs to be studied. I was up until 4am this morning and then spent most of today reading this 😭 Fair to say I could barely put it down. The art on this was just FANTASTIC. And the story!? And the details?! And the love story?! Like UGH!
I literally cannot pinpoint one thing I didn’t like about this. The ML for once isn't a romanticized red flag!! He's green through and through and had me screaming into my pillow at ungodly hours in the morning😭 (sorry to my neighbors...). I genuinely cannot find one bad thing to say about this story.
GOD WHEN WILL IT BE MY TURN 😭😭😭

Aunque su camino para lograrlo tiene muchos obstáculos, conoce a "Seunghyeon Kang", quien prácticamente le ayuda a poder comenzar poco a poco vivir ese sueño, a darse cuenta de que lo tiene todo para serlo, solo necesita algo de ayuda y en quienes confiar realmente.

Es una historia de amor que lo tiene todo, cada segundo vale la pena realmente. Puedes ver como tratan de equilibrar tanto su trabajo como su vida amorosa, como superan juntos cada obstáculo y les une aún más.

I binged this comic and read it in 2 days (it's only 77 chapters) because the pacing was so well done. I think the length of the story is perfect, the ending was satisficing, and the characters although kind of stereotypical for the genera, are fun to follow. I think the translators did any amazing job and tried to play into acting/celebrities related phrases and metaphors which was fun. The story can be cheesy at times, but not to the point of cringe, which is always appreciated for a romance story (for me at least). If you like 'Skip Beat' you will most likely have some fun with daytime star, as they have some of the themes and some similar plot points.

He leído esta historia cinco veces, y nunca me canso de leerlo. Porque esta perfecto de pies a cabeza.
Es uno de los pocos Manhwas que leo, y me enamoraron desde el primer capítulo.
Contiene romance, no tiene conflictos o malos entendidos, tiene escenas de celos, pero celos bonitos, y además tiene venganza hacia el ex novio.
Todo en esta historia está bien hecho, y muy perfecto.
Volvería a leerlo un millón de veces otra vez ❤️

I loved everything about this manhua! Main reason why it’s not a 5 is because the starting was too rushed 😩 I wished there was more screen time for the male lead, it’s so weird how he suddenly like Yuna and wanna date her. This is my second most favorite manhwa after "Take Me, I'm Yours", which has a similar love dynamic between the male and female lead, minus supernatural element. But ofc, the fated relationship between them brought by the universe has a similar vibe!!! Overall, I love this kinda romantic stories, making me daydreaming lol~

this was very… underwhelming?? sometimes i need a soft read but this was too soft lol like everything happened so fast and there was like little to no build up. it got kinda boring at some point, it definitely could have benefited from a little more conflict (and a bit better writing on jeongu’s plot- i mean i hated him but still)! but i still thought they were cute so that’s a plus.
