To the point, easy tips to remember. 30g protein per meal, 30g fibre per day, 30 varieties of fruit and veg per week. Tips on how to set calorie intake goals for weight maintenance. Also some important body measurements to monitor towards the end of the book. I did not go through the recipes, but the author has been inclusive of vegan, vegetarian etc.
This is just what I needed to help me increase my protein to combat tiredness and some midlife weight gain. It’s well written, gets straight to the point, full of tips and over half of it is recipes . No complicated science or preaching, just practical advice. Is realistic about how to approach increasing protein and fibre and its short term side effects, so suggests starting with one meal a day.
Includes meal plans and habit trackers. For vegans and vegetarians too. Considers budget options and time poor people. Looking forward to the recipe book coming out.
