Perfection!!! Priority is a follow -up novella for the Private Series that takes place in the future. I love the concept of these future telling novels because you get a glimpse of the characters you love, you get to see their growth, what's changed and what's still the same. It's like visiting old friends!!! This one has a holiday twist so the timing is perfect. I don't want to give anything away but I'll say this, I love the kids, I love that real family feel of it. I love that Bryn and Wes are the same but have also learned how to be better together. I also really love that they're still naughty!! Such a great story and so perfect for the world we all came to love while reading the series!
This holiday short was terrific update to one if my favorite couples. Having the story centered around Wes and his continued struggle to cope with life after losing his family. Revisiting the family Bryn and he built was a joy. Loving how they are reflected in each if their children and the additional supporting characters round out the story. Truly amazed at how talented Xavier Neal is and loving her commitment to tell the stories her that are true to the characters we have been introduced to.
I love Bryn and Wes. Thank you for letting us hear more about this amazing couple. Meeting the twins and seeing Fins' beautiful relationship with them is heartwarming. I loved that Bryn allowed Wes and Wy to figure it out while still wearing the Golden shirt of reality. The love these two share and express at a high level is wonderful to see and feel. Another amazing story, written by one of my all-time favorite authors.
Will Wes ever learn that his beloved wife, Bryn, always knows best?
Wes is struggling to have the Christmas spirit with his family. He’s at odds with his son, his mother’s replica lol, and that doesn’t sit well with momma. Wes isn’t yielding, and unfortunately for him, neither is his wife. Can she help him to understand what’s at stake? Will the spirit of Christmas prevail before any more heart ache?
I have missed Wes and Bryn, and this little Novella was the perfect Christmas fit! Seeing these two parent a teen and almost double digit twins was down right glorious. I loved seeing the family doing traditional things for Christmas, and watching Wes figure out his own crap to help is boy. Reading about Wes and Bryn has always been a favorite of mine, and I hope that we may see them in the future!
I adored this holiday novella that gives us more of Wes and Brynley. The holiday charm and emotions are plentiful as this quick-paced tale unfolds. Be prepared for an abundance of heartstring tugging, great big chuckles and tons of feels as this heartwarming novella reminds us of just why we love these characters so much.
Priority gives us a look into the future, as the Wilcox family prepare for Christmas. Wyland Wilcox has one wish for Christmas but his father refuses. Wes is struggling with his past trauma and fear of losing his family. Will the Wilcox's be able to overcome their anger and find the meaning of Christmas?
Priority gives us a glance at one of our favorite couples Wes and Bryn’s future as they navigate through life. You get to see the growth they’ve went through while still loving each other. This is the perfect story for this holiday season. Definitely read the Private series first so you know who’s who and can keep up. But it’s definitely another story by Xavier Neal that I fell in love with
This was a great addition to the series. Such a “real” story of how parents sometime struggle to “Parent”. As a parent, I think we always question if we are doing enough, doing it right, and being strict/carefree enough.
Love the dialogue, banter and love between this family. A great holiday story with all the feels! There’s also a bit of spice added in! :)
This quick holiday novella was a great way to get back to the Wilcox family and see what’s happening for them this holiday. It’s not only relatable to me right now with a tween in my house but also had an emotional aspect that brought you back to the first book.
Return to the world where Star Trek meets Batman for a holiday story about love, family, and compromise. With three kids and busy schedules Bryn and Wes have to find time to both connect with each other and their children.
Great glimpse at the future of one of my favorite couples, Wes and Bryn. Love, love, love seeing a glimpse of the future they make together in this novella. Always awesome to see your favorites again and experience the continuation of their love story.
I loved this book, this was the Christmas story I didn’t know I needed. I enjoyed seeing just how far Bryn and Wes have come and how their family is spending Christmas.
Priority is the perfect holiday novella to read to catch up with my favorite couple and the growth they've gone through. If you haven't read this series, now is the perfect time.
I love Wes and Bryn, and seeing their future is one of my favorite as they navigate Xmas and family. It's not easy and it was glorious to see them again even though Wes is still in turmoil.
I really enjoyed this one writing is brilliant and such a treat.
This novella brings us back to Wes and Bryn and crew. I loved seeing into their future and that while some things are the same, some are very different.
I don't want to give spoilers. The Private series does need to be read prior to this. We see Layen and Clark, who u absolutely adore and wish I had in real life. We get a little update on JT and family. Everyone needs a JT in their life, and if you're lucky you already have one. Again, you need to read the first three books to know who this is and why you'd need him in your life.
Overall, as far as updates go, this was a favorite. Definitely a series I recommend and this will be added to that.
