While checking out the murder of a local member of the Witches Guild, we uncover a demonic force trying to creep into the area, one that feels oddly familiar to me.

Round up to 4.5 stars. I can't wait to see what happens in future installments. I'm intrigued by this world and these characters.

This was a good start to a new series. It felt familiar, as this author has a few series set in Seattle, not sure if this is the same world or not.
Kyann and the people working at the agency seem like a family, they work well together and care about each other. While Kyann is the big boss, they all work the cases, sometimes together, some times on their own.
The cases they worked here were good. One that looked like it's setting up a larger story arc, others that were one off's and showcased the characters.
I look forward to reading more in this series.

The Shadow Blade book Rocks !
Yep, pulled an all nighter reading , " Shadow Seeking, by Yasmine Galenorn.
Not surprising , as she's one of my favorite authors.
Wow, what characters and a quickly developing plot !
If you like urban fantasy, paranormal characters, and private investigations, jump into Yasmine's book .
I feel like I'm dream walking as a character in all of her books !
The descriptions are so incredible.
Now I'm going to curl up in a fetal position until book 2 comes out.

Nothing really happened?
I started out really liking this book. It seemed to have an interesting world, some interesting characters and then nothing happened. There was no real conflict or danger to any of the characters. The FMC basically told us (didn't show us) what was going on as we followed her around with her PI business. There were several small cases and one "big" case that were all solved with a snap of the fingers. No surprises and definitely no tension developed with situations. I will not continue the series.

A great start
This is a great start to Yasmine Galenorn’s new series. I love Kyann and her best friends Dante and Penn. And the cats, obviously! Her Shadow Blade crew is an amazing one, and I definitely look forward to more of their work.
Because there is a murder to solve, and a past to start unraveling. And with those, Galenorn sets the table for a lot more compelling reading!

Meet Kyann. I really like this character so far and I think her half-demon side will be fun to get to know when emerges too. I really enjoy many different books by Yasmine and this one didn't disappoint either. I am excited to read more in this series. Thank you Yasmine for writing such great books!

Edgy as Always
I have read almost all of Yasmine’s books and am part of her fan club. I am always drawn to her dark magic with mysterious storylines. A captivating, relatable story from an author who always delivers just what I need.

I loved this book! In the beginning, it reminded me a lot of the Wild Hunt series, but it is still different and new. I love the characters. I needed to know more about each one. It ended too soon. I can’t wait to read the next one!

What a great book!!! I love Yasmine’s books and this is the start of a great series. I love Kyann and can’t wait to learn more about her. Dante, Penn, and the other characters are also very interesting. The story was interesting and kept me into it wanting to know what was happening next. The next one comes on January and I can’t wait to read more of this world.
