Little Johnny is a well-adjusted three year old living in Boston. He is happy playing with his preschool friends, but he refuses to go anywhere without his pacifier. Many of his friends, like his best friend Olive, have a similar problem. One day Johnny's mom comes up with an idea. She enlists the help of the other parents in the neighborhood.. Mom reads Johnny a story about a tree that grows stronger every time a child gives up his pacifier and hangs it on the tree. This tree will soon grow so big that it can support a tree house. Johnny starts thinking about the idea. Will he give up his pacifier for the greater good to help the tree grow big and strong?

Adorable illustrations tell the story without words. The text is simple and easily understood. Certainly will get preschoolers attached to their pacifiers thinking. Highly entertaining for children ages two to five. For parents who feel they have children with a similar attachment,, this book might just be the solution

The Pacifier Tree by Uncle Amos is an excellent children's book and a great book for parents and grandparents to read to their children. I really enjoyed the book.

I like children's books that help guide parents and kids through the challenges of growing up. This book deals with that all important age and rite of passage of giving up one's pacifier. It provides a fun story to get the child involved in the process and making it exciting.

Uncle Amos is a great storyteller and his style of writing makes it fun to read. It is simple and easy to follow and very age appropriate.

I really The Pacifier Tree by Uncle Amos and I highly recommend this book.

I give it my "Grandpa Seal of Approval."

I enjoy all Uncle Amos' books because in each there is a valuable lesson he conveys to little children. Parents will love this cute story and the ingenuity of the mother. It is very difficult for a preschooler to give up his pacifier or binky.

This story is about a little boy who does not want to give his pacifier up. His mother comes up with a clever idea to wean her son and help him learn how to let go of his binky.

The illustrations are colorful and eye-catching and will keep children engaged in the story. I would recommend this book to all parents of children who are attached to their pacifiers.

I was given a copy of this e-book in return for an honest review.

WHAT A DARLING BOOK!
A VERY CREATIVE WAY TO HELP A CHILD LET GO OF THEIR PACIFIER.

Pacifiers have a great purpose.

Babies are created to suck and it is very soothing.

But a time comes when a child needs to let go of the pacifier.

Johnny has reached that age and is having a hard time letting go.

Mother comes up with a BRILLIANT idea and calls all the other mothers...

READ TO SEE why all the children end up putting their pacifiers in a tree.

CUTE! CUTE! CUTE! STORY!

PERFECT for pure reading enjoyment!
WONDERFUL for a teaching moment!

Start your own pacifier tree :)

I enjoyed this story cute with a fun way of showing how to assist your children with a great example of children giving up pacifiers.. This story gives parents a unique way to help their child let go. In the book, Johnny gives up his pacifier in order for a tree to grow big enough to put a tree house in. The story kept me interested and the illustrations are cute and well done making it a fun book for children and parent to enjoy is great. Uncle Amos writes with imagination and a lovely message to the children and parents.

Cute illustrations and well written for young children, this book could be very helpful for parents who are trying to get their children past the pacifier stage. The only challenge for me is that my kids called it a 'binky' and not a pacifier, but I think they would be able to relate. This book would work well as a bedtime story.

Johnny is a 3 year old who attends preschool. Johnny sucks on his pacifier everywhere he goes. His mother knows she’s not the only mother with this problem. She comes up with a plan and calls the other mothers. You really need to read this book to find out what great idea Johnny’s mom came up with to get him to give up his pacifier.
