“Honour thy father.” After my fiancé’s betrayal, my father, Reverend Amos Kincaid, is the only man I trust. Well, him and God. I’ve honoured my father and lived my life by God’s word—mostly. Until the arrival of two men who ignite a dark and dangerous desire within me.
“Lead us not into temptation.” Reverend Roman Stone is the devil in disguise. Blake Cassidy, the walking embodiment of sin. Together they are an undeniable temptation. One that puts me on the path to Hell.
“Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned.” When my father is attacked, a lifelong veil of deceit is revealed. My only choice is to trust two men who go against everything I believe in. To survive, I must succumb to the deadly sin of lust. Forbidden fruit never tasted so good.

Imogen Wells is a dark romance author from the East of England, where she lives with her husband, three children and the family dog and cat.
After being a stay at home mum to her three children, Imogen decided to go back to school. In 2020 she graduated with a First-Class Honours degree in History and English Literature.
When she is not writing, she can be found reading, binge watching Netflix shows or Boxsets, and every Sunday she is cheering her son on at his football games, no matter the weather.
When’s a father not a father? And I don’t mean ‘I am your father, Luke’ 🤣 The other type of father, the church fairing one…seems Father Roman Stone is not all he appears to be, in more ways than one!
The plot to bring down the resident Father Amos Kincaid by using his very religious daughter is thwarted, when they meet her and she is not as naive as they believed. Their story progresses with more than one game being played but who are the players and why?
Loved the twists in this storyline, it leads you on the path of the righteous but then deters off towards the gates of hell (see what I did there 🤪), in this one the spice is definitely spicing, we have a little MM, an influx of MMF because why wouldn’t you with the title being ‘LuSt’ and of course v!0lence. This series just keeps you coming back for the next one.
Emotional and Intense with sex scenes that are hotter than Hades.
I still can't quite articulate my review but what I am going to say is..if you love MMF you definitely have to read this. Lust had me on the edge of my seat with twists that I didn't see coming, I could not and did not want to put it down, it was like crack and I was a willing participant.
‘I don’t really like MMF’ <—— me before reading this.
‘Okay so maybe I actually do like MMF’ <— me after.
Good lord. I need Jesus or something….
Roman and Blake together HOT.
Roman Blake and Sydney together OFF THE SCALES.
Sydney’s dad is a reverend, so growing up around the church had her believing certain things were a sin. Until she meets Roman and Blake, then she begins to question everything.
And I mean everything.
Roman wants justice for his sisters murder, so if pretending to be a reverend is one of those ways he will do it. Along with his partner Blake, they work on finding her murderer as well as ending him, meeting Sydney only helps them.
When I say I’m not usually a fan of MMF or MFM it’s not that I don’t like it, it’s just not my jam, same with RH, my lil brain can only cope with MF. BUT when I tell you that Imogen not only wrote the scenes between Roman and Blake so incredibly well but all three of them. I literally melted into a puddle.
These men are servants of the devil sent here to tempt me beyond redemption.
The sweet girl. With innocent eyes. Praying to her god each night.
May actually have a hidden desire and when the temptation is presented…she’s going to be bowing down worshipping her lustful thoughts instead…
I have a feeling Roman and Blake are more than forbidden fruit.
Growing up Sydney, has followed everything her Priest and beloved Pa has told her. Even though she has already stayed with another which only led to heartbreak Sydney is still trying to be her own woman. Helping out in her father’s church Sydney never expected to be left speechless when new Reverend Stone is introduced and now Sydney can’t forget his tall, dark and dare she admit to herself sexy man of God.
With her father away Reverend Roman Stone, takes over and to add to the Sunday service there is another male who catches her eyes in the pews. Blake is a charmer with boyish good looks and intends on spending time with Sydney.
All too soon though, Sydney's world is flipped and with her feeling already conflicted she has no choice but follow Roman & Blake.
Is there more than meets the eye of these sinful men?
Sydney is the modern Eve, and I fully intend to make her fall from grace spectacular.
Roman & Blake awaken something deep inside of Sydney and she’s soon turning into the woman who seeks out what she wants…and who she wants.
With actions happening out of her control, skeletons falling out left right and center and the question of who she really is…Sydney has got her mind full and Roman & Blake are proving to be the perfect distractions.
However, the time comes for Sydney and her men to fight for their revenge and justice…can they ever have a future or will God play his own hand?
“Oh, Sydney, you might regret teasing this beast. And cursing too. How far you have fallen.”
Oh well forgive me father, for I have read a sinful sizzling book…and I don’t regret it either!
Hot damn! Lust was all that you expect and soo much more! This story focuses on Sydney holier, that good girl who believes in her faith that she has grown up with and with deep dark needs that she knows may be sinful…yet Sydney can’t deny herself.
Especially, when Roman & Blake come onto the scene with a mystery of their true intentions you are suddenly on a whole new different story. It’s more than just tempting Sydney to explore her lustful thoughts and more about her family secrets that have a strong connection to Roman. Taking you on an exciting page turner that leaves you twisted up!
You may be clutching your rosary beads…but, Roman and Blake have other wicked thoughts for them. These two were gifts sent- I’m not sure by who. I loved their relationship. It was kinda the grumpy sunshine…yet very loveable and easy on the eyes as you pictured them in your mind. Finding Sydney and bringing her into their lives developed them even more, you saw how she changed them and was great reading the different sexy scenes with them all…very creative at times!
Sydney grows so much as a character, she’s the typical quiet church mouse to start only to turn into a sexy vixen empowering herself for what she believes in. I love a strong female character and enjoyed seeing the change in Sydney character.
Make sure you check out the bonus chapter for an even spicier blessing!
These two men chose me, whether by design or fate.
Imogen Wells delivers a tantalizing exploration of desire and temptation in "Lust," the author’s installment of the Seven Deadly Sins series. (Different authors)
The story follows the journey of a young woman, caught in a web of betrayal and desire, as she navigates her feelings for two enigmatic men, the Reverend Roman Stone and Blake Cassidy, while grappling with her loyalty to her father, Reverend Amos Kincaid.
The author skillfully sets the stage with a gripping opening that plunged me into a world of moral conflict right from the start. Sydney’s struggle to balance her faith, familial loyalty, and burgeoning desires is vividly portrayed, making her relatable and sympathetic. The author expertly balances Sydney’s pious background with the allure of her dark urges, creating a fascinating duality that drives the plot forward.
The arrival of Roman and Blake introduces an intense dynamic that ignites the novel’s central conflict. Roman, the charming yet dangerous clergyman, embodies temptation, challenging the Sydney’s beliefs while igniting passions she never knew she had. Meanwhile, Blake, the embodiment of sin, adds a layer of complexity, tempting her further into a world of indulgence.
This book is engaging, combining evocative language with moments of introspection that offer insight into the characters’ motivations. The pacing is steady, with tension building as the plot twists lead to unexpected revelations about deceit and trust, culminating in a gripping climax that leaves readers on edge.
One of the standout aspects of "Lust" is the way it delves into the theme of forbidden desire. The author layers her storytelling with philosophical questions about morality, temptation, and the consequences of choices. This exploration needs to be handled delicately, and the author manages to do so, pushing the boundaries of romance and sensuality without compromising the integrity of her characters.
However, some readers may find the premise of taboo romance triggering, so please read the warnings before heading in.
The tension between desire and morality is skillfully balanced, creating an absorbing dichotomy that further immerses readers in the story.
In conclusion, "Lust" by Imogen Wells is a captivating read for those who enjoy a blend of romance, temptation, and moral dilemmas. With its well-drawn characters, and thought-provoking themes, this novel invites readers into a world where desire clashes with faith, leading to an enthralling journey of self-discovery.
If you’re looking for a provocative and engaging read, "Lust" is certainly worth picking up.
Having read this author's work many times before I always look so forward to more! As soon as I saw a post for this book I wanted to read it. I picked it up and headed right into the Seven Deadly Sins world. I so enjoyed this story!
Sydney, Roman, and Blake's journey captured my attention so quickly! Church and God have always been a big parts of Sydney's life since her father is a Reverend. Roman and Blake are on a mission and it leads them to Sydney. As Roman and Blake are brought into Sydney's life it shakes things all up. Will Sydney give into temptation for Blake and Roman?
From the moment that Sydney collides with Roman and Blake I was so pulled in by these three characters. I didn't know what all to expect and I really enjoyed how it kept me on my toes. From the different way they were brought into each other's lives and how they tackled things to everything between them, I couldn't wait to see how things would unfold for Sydney, Blake, and Roman.
I so enjoyed what all that Blake, Roman, and Sydney brought to the story. I was so glad that I got to dive into all three of their minds and get all of their layers. Getting to see things bloom between Sydney and Roman and Blake was so good! These three and their chemistry was so blushworthy and they were all about each other! I felt a lot with Roman, Blake, and Sydney throughout reading.
With Lust, Ms.Wells has created such a good and dark read that brought MMF, moments that had me on edge, realness, steam, and feels! It kept me turning the pages. I am so looking forward to reading what this author brings our way next.
Be sure to check out the author's foreword about the content.

This second book in the Seven Deadly Sins series is so exciting. There is the sexy love triangle, the mystery of the person who is doing unspeakable things to women and then killing them, and the race to solve everything before it’s too late.
Sydney is the innocent daughter of a minister who has led a very sheltered life. Once Roman and Blake enter her environment, things change dramatically. In fact, I think Sydney’s life takes a complete 180-degree turn, and dare I say she blossoms?
Roman and Blake are extremely close and their intimacy extends to Sydney, in time. I will simply say these scenes are red hot! 🔥🔥🔥 The care between these characters shines through, though, and that to me is a much bigger and more meaningful aspect.
I take my hat off to this author for her very creative and torturous manner of killing off characters. However, not once is anything described in a gruesome or explicit way. I will admit that my heart raced dangerously fast a time or two and I was trying to speed read quite a few sections—the story is that good.
I love a good dark romance with religious and taboo themes. But I’ll be honest, the plot twist in the middle of the book was so unexpected and changed the whole plot of the book. So before we start I just want to warn you that there is dubcon between the mcs and on page rape but not between the mcs. I love a good pastor mmc, regardless of whether he’s pretending to be one or is actually one. Lately I’ve read and enjoyed many books where the mmc disguises as a pastor. So there are some religious themes and misogyny, because our fmc was raised in a toxic church environment, that does not at all reflect real church values. The plot was really interesting. It started off with the mmcs pursuing the fmc, and like most dark romances, she’s a little hesitant. And I love the whole Pastor and his boyfriend thing (which is ironic considering he’s a pastor) they have such a cute dynamic although mm smut isn’t my favourite. But then things take a dark turn and she’s forced to rely on them. And I mean dark and twisted, we’re talking about finding a serial rapist and killer. Like lots of dark romances with a good girl fmc, we see her being corrupted by the mmcs, only to find out she’s just as bad on the inside. She gets a lot of character growth and accepts herself and the mmcs for who they are. Roman isn't my cup of tea, he’s grumpy and not in a cute way, like he loses his temper too much and takes his anger out on others (not just sexually) too much (there’s no abuse though). But I did love Blake. I give this a solid 3.5/5

Lust is the second book in the Seven Deadly Sins series by a variety of authors.
I love a good dark forbidden romance and this one came with all the tropes starting with a possibly corrupt Reverend and a mystery of murders. There was lots suspense and spice that rounded out the whole story. The true tale of not everything is as it seems.
The action really picks up and gets the story going about 40% in. It felt a little slow to start and like some of it could have been left out to get to the meat of the story but overall it was very enjoyable. I honestly was way more into Roman and Blake’s relationship dynamic! They were fun and hot! Sydney was your typical naive young woman who was raised to believe one thing about her faith, the church, and those around her but everything she once knew to be true was about to get upturned the moment Roman and Blake entered the story.
I read Pride, which is the first in the series, and this was so different in a good way so I’m excited to see where this series goes!
Sydney - Was raised in the eyes of the Lord. Her loyalty for her father and their religion makes Sydney a saint. She hasn't always had many or close friends in her life, she has no mother and her father is very much involved in his religion.
Ro - Came into Sydney's life with Blake like a wrecking ball, dismissing all her religious feelings and making her want to sin.
Ro and Blake are out for revenge on Sydney's father for something that happened in the past to Ro's family.
This novel is beautifully written, it caught me hook line and sinker! It was sinful & spicy with plenty of twists and turns.
This is the first novel of this authors I have read and I can honestly say it will not be last.
If you are looking for a deliciously sinful, forgive me father for I have Sinned MMF romance, then this book is for you!
I absolutely ate this book up! I need more, oh so so much more!!
Even though this book is part of the 7 deadly sins, with 7 different authors they are all standalone books!
The plot and story itself are immediately captivating, introducing the stakes and pulling you in at the start. The mystery, the vigilante crime solving, the plot twists, the climax, the ending (even though I wanted just a little more).
The two beautiful MMCs are so intense they’ll leave you panting over just a chaste kiss. The quiet FMC who’s conflicted by the spitfire she’s hiding inside.
As a preacher’s kid myself, I truly resonate with Sydney’s struggle to reconcile her beliefs and what she was taught with how she feels inside. Blake and Roman come in and force her out of her shell while turning her life upside down, but they ultimately stick beside her and piece it back together.
There are a few rough spots throughout the book, so make sure to read the trigger warnings if you need to.
If you love MMF romance, intense MMCs, action, and steamy scenes this is a book for you.
I really enjoyed this one, it's a nice easy read. The writing flows really smoothly and you just fly through it, the different POVs definitely gave it that added layer because if we didn’t have that I don’t think the story would've had the same impact and I wouldn’t have connected with the characters as much I did. I loved that there was already this foundation between the two MMCs and how well Sydney integrated into the dynamics and added this layer of balance between them, which created an impeccable bond between them all. They have really great individual layers that we explore at the perfect pace for them and at the perfect moments. The plot is an interesting one and all the little connections were done really well.
Imogen Wells is a new author for me and let me just say how happy I am to have read her work. This won't be the last book of hers I read, by the way. I'm looking forward to reading them all. Her writing style will capture you when you open the pages and start to read. Her characters are written so well that you become engrossed in their story.. Because that's what this is. It's Sydney and Blake and Roman's story. Imogen tells it in an alluring way. This is not your average romance. It's one of the seven deadly sins. It's carnal. it's erotic. It's lustful and it's fascinating. I. Loved. Every. Word!
Lust by @authorimogenwells, is the seductive second book in the captivating Seven Deadly Sins series. This story delves deep into the desire and darkness, weaving enticing and intense passion. Roman, Blanke, and Sidney unveil a collection of erotic scenes that will ignite your senses and leave you yearning for more. However, be forewarned the book takes a compellingly dark twist, so it’s essential to read the trigger warnings provided. Prepare to be drawn into a world where temptation reigns and shadows lurk.
The title of this book will tell you exactly what this book is about. It was intense and hotter than hell. I stayed up all night reading this as every time I tried to put this book down my mind would not turn off until I had hit the end and oh my lord I was not disappointed. I have read a few books from Imogen Wells and whilst they are all rather intense and mind blowing this book was ten times hotter than any of the others and I have declared this to be my favourite of her books. An MMF read at it’s finest. This is truly a work of art!
I adore Imogen and her writing so I was happy to be finally getting around to this series and her book in it.. and holy moly it didn't disappoint me one bit!!! Jam packed with steamy taboo filled goodness i honestly was so annoyed when I had to stop reading it to go to work LOL Blake and Roman are on a mission to break the man who killed Romans sister and this brings them into the path of Sydney.. and what a scorching path it ends up 🔥 Blake and Roman together were absolute fire but add in Sydney too and wow it was off the charts scorching! Great storyline and great characters!
I loved the concept of this book! I loved Sydney's struggle with finding the balance of her faith and her "sinful" desires. And Roman and Blake are definitely hot as sin!! (Pun intended) Imogen Wells did a great job of showcasing Sydney's struggle and also showing her inner self. I loved the dynamic between them all! This was a great fast paced read for me and I loved every minute of it!
Let me start by saying I'm a bit of whore for religious smut. But also I'm very fussy with any "sharing" books I read. I inhaled this one @authorimogenwells, she has a way of making it work for all of them. I adored the MM but then chuck in the F, so we have MMF and MF it was hot as fuck. Sydney was bloody amazing and so sassy once she found her true self. The care and attention the all showed eachother was literal perfection! Loved the suspense too! What a great read!
She's their Eve & they're her Adam with devilish tendencies. Blake & Roman have been looking for a killer for 3 years, they think they have him in their sights, until the unexpected happens. Sydney believes her father is a man of the cloth, but doesn't truly know anything about his past or her mother. Unexpected things happen, asking with murder & she loses her naivety & self control.
4* Roman & Blake are desperate for answers and believe kinkaid is guilty for what happened to Annabel. Sydney is surprised to meet Roman as the vicar to cover her father's absence. Meeting Blake has made her even more confused about him and Roman. She been brought up in the faith with her father (kinkaid) pure until married and her relationship with her ex Paul has made her wary who to trust. The title says it all.
I loved this book! It’s fast paced, full of spice, drama and the unexpected twists and turns that Imogen has proven to be a rockstar at! I couldn’t put this book down!
The connection between Sydney, Roman and Blake is instant. I really enjoyed reading about Sydney coming out of her shell and still being true to herself. Roman and Blake are both intense and I loved it!
This book does have religious overtones. It took me a minute to get into. It just seemed to drag. But persistence paid off and once the twist started twisting I was fully hooked. The best thing I can say is the spice is spicy and when I say I ran to get the bonus Chapter I ran. It's currently living rent free in my head.
I was not prepared for the absolute hottest and spiciest book I've read in a long time, on top of the twists and turns that you don't see coming!! This is my new favorite book from this author!
Roman & Blake together are hot & spicy, but add in our fmc Sydney and it's explosive as hell! The idea of a the preacher's innocent, sweet, reserved daughter with the likes of these dark devilish men had me binge reading this book from beginning to end! This book is fast paced and keeps you on the edge of your seat trying to figure out who did what and who is who! I highly recommend this book but make sure you check your trigger warnings!!
I try to stray from religion in my DCRs but this one is well thought out, and just really well written. My preference is what is keeping me from a 5 star, and I sincerely apologize to the author for that. Trust me when I say, it is a page turner and delivers on all accounts. I highly recommend!
The author takes us on a trip into a world of revenge, murder, mayhem, mystery, lust, and love. Sweet and innocent Sydney, the reverend’s daughter, finds herself attracted to her father’s replacement who is not who he is portraying himself to be. She also finds herself interested in Blake who may or may not know the new reverend. She knows that by lusting for these men she is not behaving as she should be so she tries to fight it. So much happens throughout to story that changes her perception of herself, the guys, and her father that she is either going to fall from grace or grow spectacularly. Loved the journey!
Holy Moly 🔥 Lust was one heck of a read! Suspense, ALL the steamy goodness, drama, and the hunt for a serial killer. This is a read that will keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end.
Damn , this book has me spinning , in a good way . From the euphoria, & heat from Ro, Blake &Sydney , to the pure devastation of past & present events .I was hooked from the very beginning.
