This book shouldn't even exist, imo. It would've been better if it was a duology instead of the trilogy route this author went for. It gave nothing. Nothing. It was a huge waste of paper and my time. I want them both back. And to think I gave the first book a 5 stars. This has happened before.

Oh, the stupid needless dramas in this one. I can feel the need for the author to create the drama to fill in the pages; otherwise, it would probably be a 50-pages book. The drama happened, they fought, they didn't even properly address the underlying issue of their drama, stuff got thrown under the rug due to the next scene, and we never heard them solving their problem again. Rinse and repeat. It was fucking annoying and repetitive.

And you know what else was fucking annoying? Our main girl here. BITCH, SHE SO DUMB. So dumb, I wanna punch her face in. Two incidents off the top of my head. First, she was EIGHT months pregnant, someone called in for a crime scene clean-up and she so confidently refused other people's help and went ahead to the scene, which could possibly be a set-up, with ONE backup guy. AND this was after her man got shot in the head by a rival. FUCKING DUMB. Second incident, she asked for her man to let the man who ordered her man's assassination free, because 'he's not a stone cold murderer', according to her. BITCH, your man is a fucking organized crime fucking leader, he fucking killed someone before. And why the fuck are you letting the man who tried to kill your man by shooting him in the head fucking free? WHAT THE FUCK? Where's the anger? Where's the retribution? THIS IS SO FUCKING FRUSTRATING!!!

Needless to say, this fucking book was fucking dumb. And don't even let me start with ALL the medical miracles these two protagonists went through.

This is final book in the Middleton trilogy (at least for Hunter and Megan). Megan has never been my favorite FMC but she at least had a little growth between books 1 & 2, but in this book she was just awful! She was bratty, annoying, and MEAN. I understand stress and being pregnant but that was not pregnancy hormones that was her being a straight up b word to people.

She gets mad at Hunter for everything and she doesn’t understand the word compromise. I really think Hunter could do better. He’s seriously injured and you don’t want him to retaliate on the person?! Girl, what?! It’s like the book wants Hunter to be a part of the underworld but not actually a part of it. Also Megan legit has more attitude for her found family than she did for her school bullies or her family. She gets mad and questions if she can trust Hunter because he didn’t tell her that their bodyguard has an estranged daughter. Huh?? Why and when would he?

Also there’s not a wrap up of the main conflict, it just goes away because Megan doesn’t want them to retaliate. Again, what?!

The anger she has for Naomi while there’s a little justification for it seemed over the top considering she had none for Parker and literally let her friendship with Parker cause issues in her relationship.

I really wasn’t feeling this one but I wanted to finish and see how they dealt with the conflict but it wasn’t dealt with so that was disappointing. Overall not for me, but if you’re reading this series give it a chance, you might feel differently.

Megan was just trying to make ends meet. She was attending college on a scholarship and working late shifts at a bar that had questionable clientele, but even with the excellent pay, she was barely making ends meet.
Because no matter how far she runs she can’t escape her family and the hold they have over her.

She is in the fight of her life from her family, from jealous college mates and from Hunter’s enemies.

I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. This is the final book of The Middleton trilogy series and is not a standalone so make sure that you read Obsession and Submission beforehand.

This series is action-packed and full of suspense and intrigue from page one to the end of book three. It had surprising twists and danger around almost ever corner, but I love how it all came together.

This dark romance was smoking hot and full of drama that have you turning the pages to see what happens next. Lisa Lang Blakeney has definitely moved to the one-click author category. I totally enjoyed this trilogy and can’t wait to read more from this author. Highly recommend!

It was a long road to this final book. It was worth every bit.

Hunter and Megan have fought their enemies and ghosts and made it out to the other side.
Through all the dangers swirling around them, they are stronger together, always.

The steamy, spicy connection between them.
All the possessiveness and protectiveness that Hunter had when it came to Megan, she returned when it came to Hunter.
The banter and angst, the side characters that played a part in their journey, all made the story fantastic for me.

I loved each book and the trilogy.
I definitely recommend 👌

This is book three and The Final Book in The Middleton series and it continues Hunter and Megan’s story and omg it is definitely a must read. The book continues where Submission book two left us with Megan being kidnapped by Naomi’s father who is a cruel, powerful, possessive, dangerous and controlling man and he is determined to take Naomi home and marry her off to Gabriel but Hunter is in a complete panic esp as Megan means everything to him, pregnant with his baby and he will do anything and everything regardless of what he had to do or the consequences involved to find Megan and bring her home safely. When a close range attempt is made on Hunter’s life everyone rallied around to keep his business going and it is Megan that steps up to take over until Hunter can but being close to giving birth there are now many enemies and complications surrounding them as chaos keeps them all busy trying to carry on with the business while keeping everyone that important safe and protected. Spies, enemies and danger are everywhere and definitely closer than they know but Hunter is even deadlier and ready to eliminate the threat which had started the biggest war ever but Hunter will burn down the whole city if he had to because protecting Megan and there child is all that matters. Megan and Hunter have had many ups and downs and there relationship had definitely not been plain sailing but there love for each other had pulled them through some of there darkest times while giving them the happiness, power and future that they both want and deserve after everything that they have both been through in there lives and to get everything that they ever wanted. This book will take you on the biggest rollercoaster ride of your life and there will be many twists and turns along the way. I read this book in one sitting until the early hours of the morning because I just couldn’t put it down as it was so addictive and had you on the edge of your seat while keeping your attention throughout. Lisa Lang Blakeney is a amazing author and writer and she pulls you into her stories making you feel like you are there living through everything with her characters and I definitely recommend you read her books and you will not be disappointed.

This is the final book in "The Middleton series". It is a continuation, so you should read all three books in order. Megan was kidnapped by her friend Naomi's father, and Hunter is going crazy. Megan is betrayed by someone close to her. Megan was getting stronger in her dealings with certain people, probably as a result of her pregnancy hormones being out of whack. Hunter loves her to the moon and back, but he is also so used to being the boss in his organization that he isn't always as sensitive to Megan's feelings. Hunter is eventually catering more and more to Megan. Wait until you see the wedding negotiations. What a hoot that was. There is plenty of chemistry, steam, and surprises. I do not usually like mafia-type books, but I love this author's writing and have reviewed about 18 of her books, and it turns out I loved this one also. I can't wait to read whatever she comes up with next. This was a contemporary romance with a wonderful HEA ending.

Tragically Sweet

We return for the epic finale to Megan and
Hunter's story. When we left them, Megan had just been kidnapped by someone we never expected. Now Hunter has to find her and still face the ultimate betrayal of loyalty by someone close to him and Megan. We watch as Megan navagates life  with the newly discovered disloyalty she experienced and just as she finally get on her feet, a devastating tragedy occurs leaving her to make some ultimate choices for her and her child.

This is a perfect way to wrap up Megan and Hunter's tragic yet sweet love story! So many twists and turns I didn't know which way was up but it all came together beautifully! I love seeing Megan thrive through all the chaos while we saw Hunter soften just enough to make him putty in Megan's hands as a good man should be for his woman! I love the wedding negotiations and spicy spicy sexy times! Well done on those Miss Lisa! I say a 4/5 for spice level and and 4.5/5 over all! I am sad to see Megan and Hunter end but eager to see more from this world

This is the conclusion of Megan and Hunter's story. You have to read the first two books, Obsession and Submission before diving into this book. This book picks up where Submission left off. Megan has been kidnapped by Naomi's father. He is a cruel, very powerful and extremely dangerous. But he is a man with a plan to marry his daughter Naomi off to Gabriel. I know that makes no sense just reading it like this but you will see what I am talking about when you read these books. As you can imagine Hunter is losing his mind over Megan being taken. After all she is his entire world now and pregnant. He will go to the ends of the earth if he has to to bring her back home. However, he is in more danger than he realizes and he has to learn to relay on his family a lot in this book. There is a lot going on in this book. It is fast paced and will have you on the edge of your seat. I really loved reading this series.

Possession (The Middleton Series Book 3) is the third part and conclusion of Hunter and Megan’s story. As with the first two installments, it is fast paced and riveting. Hunter’s protective instinct is set into overdrive as serious threats emerge to the couple and consequences are left that must be dealt with. Like a domino effect, his need to protect Megan triggers her to rebel, and her trust issues cause additional upheaval. It becomes increasing difficult to tell friends from enemies. Hunter’s love for Meagan dictates his life but she must decide if she can accept him as is. This is an age gap billionaire romance with an alpha man who you can’t help but love. I enjoyed the series and highly recommend it!

What an amazing conclusion to this trilogy. From the very first chapter I was truly on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. I really enjoy when an author plays with my mind, meaning making me second guess how the story will play out. I thought I knew exactly how this finale was going to go. But nope - not even close!!
Once again, I was drawn to the relationship between Megan & Hunter. It's not perfect, but it was so realistically written I had goosebumps several times throughout. The emotions Lisa drew out of me went from happiness to sadness and quite often concern almost gave me whiplash. But I couldn't have asked for a better ending to this trilogy, it will definitely require a reread in the future

The series started really strong and I was ready to read the early copy of POSSESSION but spent some time reviewing the first two books in the series again to get the feel and energy of the characters again.

POSSESSION has a lot going on not only with Hunter and Megan, but with a number of the secondary characters. Some of them really surprise us. Others disappoint us. From a series standpoint, it gets high marks for steam, betrayal and characters. I can say some of the twists I saw a mile away. Others caught me off guard.

I have to say, though, that Hunter disappointed me in that it seemed like he lost that dark, dangerous mojo I love in a MMC. Being vulnerable about your woman is one thing, but Hunter dropped the ball too many times in the “I’ll keep you safe” arena.

If you are into Mafia Billionaire books, this series the one to read. This one really had me up most of the night fighting my sleep. I didn’t want to put it down. Poor Megan, I don’t know how much mor she can take. Hunter and Megan just can’t catch a break. Hunter and Lena are bonding finally. Vaughn, and Christian are trying to help Hunter with everything that is going on. So much is going and it’s so stressful, you are trying to figure out what’s going to happen again.If you want to know what is going to happen next. Then get your copy of this book. I can’t wait for the next book to come out.

This is the third book and the finale off this awesome trilogy as Hunter and Megan’s journey continues.
This story begins with Megan having been kidnapped, and Hunter determined to find her, when they must both face the ultimate betrayal of someone close to them.
This is a well written action packed story, with family, friendships, emotions, disloyalty, betrayal, humor, witty banter, danger, suspense, intrigue, challenges, and love, which leads to an entertaining, tragic, twisted, and unpredictable, addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

The final book in the series. As usual Lisa has surpassed herself again. Hunter and Megan are the polar opposites, but they cannot resist the pull they have to each other even though there is an age-gap, age really does not matter to them, they cannot live without each other.
I would really recommend you read the previous two books in the series. The characters from this series are also in this book good and bad. You’ll love the conclusion to the book but I won’t spoil it for you just let’s say there is an additional
character.
I am an arc reader for Lisa but I give my opinion with no pressure.

The story of Hunter and Megan continues, and the action keeps coming. Their journey begins with Megan being in a dire situation, but it doesn’t end there as Hunter will soon find himself in a dire situation as well.

They now find themselves wondering who is friend and who is foe as they fight to overcome the danger they find themselves in before it reaches a point that they will not be able to escape from.

Both Hunter and Megan made mistakes, but it wasn’t because they didn’t love each other as they take us on an adventure filled with emotion, romance and surprises.

Excellent

This book like the first one is amazing and well written. It is a page turner and will keep you involved and excited to see the outcome and explore the twists and turns in the story. A strong and powerful love can only be found in a strong and powerful man and woman, who is willing to fight and die to keep that union. There were a history of pain, fear, abuse and hate but love shared overshadowed all and left behind strong and brave people. The characters are well developed and the love making is off the charts. You will enjoy this book.

The author Lisa had me from the beginning. So much happens to Hunter and Megan you wonder how they made it through. Los Angeles would not be same without Hunter Middleton the fixer. I loved the relationship that Megan and Hunter established. Despite all the things going on around Hunter and Megan also their relationship seemed to deepen. I loved this story because it had just the right amount of angst, mystery, excitement and of course romance and I loved that it had mafia background to make me look for another of her books. Loved, Loved this series.

This is a great ending to this trilogy.
Hunter is searching for Megan after she is kidnapped but nothing is going his way.
Will they be able to find her before anything happens to her and their unborn child.
So many twists and turns and plenty of drama but also a love that can't be denied.
Loved the ending but one little detail made me only give it 4 stars.

Non-stop Drama 5 stars. - You’d think there would be less drama because Megan is pregnant or because Megan and Hunter established that they love each other. You’re wrong. I feel like this third installment isn’t as long as the previous parts but it’s definitely packed with conflicts. At one point, it even made me doubt if an HEA will happen. What also made it interesting is the setting up of Lena’s story - can’t wait for that!

Megan even more stubborn in this book. She is always so quick to walk away when her and Hunter disagree. Hunter is possessive and lost his dark edge at times becoming soft too at times. Vaughan and Christian were more tough and acted more dangerous than him. Lena and Christian there is a story there and hopefully we get it. Megan and Hunter work through her kidnapping and their issues but end on a happy note.

I loved the action and suspense. I was surprised by Megan's gullibility. Given her upbringing and the fact that she briefly lived on the street, I thought she would be a better judge of character. Not so! Albeit, I liked the ending, the person providing Intel on Hunter and Megan was never revealed. That info was never revealed.

Where to start this book is the last in the trilogy and what a way to end.
what happens to Hunter and Megan the question is more what doesn't happen everything does but sorry im not going to spoil it for you all I can say it there is a HEA.

Such an awesome series! I truly enjoyed reading the Middleton series! So many different parts that made up the entire story - it was great. There were serious parts, funny parts, poignant ones, smeggsy ones, just so much that made up the WHOLE!
