Oh, Annie, you never disappoint me!!
Lol, this was wild. Rhea, girl, Way to keep it in the family. 🤣
Stepdad and stepsons call for one wet, HOT, messy, emotional roller coaster, and I was here for it all.

Out of all three of them, Dean was my favorite.
Oh, my crazy Dean, it’s always the ones who don’t think they’ll fall in love who end up falling the hardest. I love this unhinged possessive man 😮‍💨

Lol, the way he reacted to her having the E carved into her, I was like, okay, I want that level of unhinged you’re mine from all my book boyfriends! 🤣

Im usually all for the sexual liberation. Girl let your freak flag fly high. But i’ve never seen someone do a complete 180 so fast. She went from hating Dean saying she’d never give in to him because she doesn’t want to give him the satisfaction to blowing him in the span of like 5 pages. AFTER he literally publicly humiliated and embarrassed her at her job by making her get on her knees to clean a mess he made. Dark romance is one thing but having no self respect and giving your body to someone who is actively treating you like sh*** is another. If she was giving as good as she got then fine but she’s letting him treat her like garbage he stepped on and then conveniently forgetting everything he did to her every time he mentions something sexual. It’s disgusting. I have never wanted to give a mc a wake up call so bad.

This was amazing, I loved every second of it! I couldn’t put it down, and it hit me right in the feels. The chemistry between Rhea, Dean, and Ethan was incredible, and her attraction to Professor Shaw added an extra layer of intrigue. I really enjoyed watching the boys fall for her just as much as she did for them. Seeing Rhea confront her past, surrender control, find relief, and explore what truly makes her happy was so satisfying to read.

Annie did it again.... 🖤🖤🖤

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌶🌶🌶🌶

Follow Rhea on her journey of breaking free from everything she was conditioned to believe, fighting against her past trauma, and feeding her darkest desires.

I absolutely loved this, and the plot twist!!! I had a theory, and to say it still surprised me... the gasp that came out of my mouth 🫣😳

We all need a sassy best friend like Nat, someone that is supportive and also pushes you to be your best self!!!

I loved how this book had more than two POVs, getting to see the inner thoughts of ALL the characters. It added so much more to the story.

As always, Annie's writing style never fails in captivating me. If you have read any of her previous work, this is a bit different. She has a talent for writing MMC's that wade into the morally grey territory.

(This book does contain dark themes, so please read the content warning! It is also important to note that this book is not designed to be a guide for bd$m)

This is the first book I’ve read where it truly goes into the beauty of BDSM and the power within it. Nothing about this felt cringy or uncomfortable. Right from the start everything was written with care and respect including the characters involved.

Also there were hot twins and sexy professor involved so I mean we knew this book was going to be good. 😂 But in all seriousness I was so intrigued by this story. The plot was great, the tension between characters and the lessons they grew through were perfection, and Rhea’s character and background story was perfect for the storyline. She came from a super religious upbringing and desired to study psychology and the way each of the men in her life pushed her to discover more and learn from experiences was so beautiful.

I’ve followed Annie since The Huntress and the Hound and I just love watching her push her boundaries with each book! I absolutely loved this!!

Annie Wild will never fail with her writing in my eyes. I was intrigued from the first chapter! The chapters in this book were a bit longer than I am used to for Annie’s books but once I got into it I barely noticed. I loved Professor Shaw from the beginning. The sexual scenes in this book were perfect in my opinion and I enjoyed reading it!!

Euuuwwwwwwweeeeeee Annie! Wow, This is the best one yet! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

I was hooked right away and then I just couldn’t put it down. There was this slow-ish build up to each thing that happened next. It was tantalizing! The first plot twists had me screaming! I resonated with Rhea a bit in this story. I love that she got stronger and stronger as the story developed.
I have read every book by Annie and each book gets better and better! Can’t wait for the next 🫶🏽

Rhea is a extremely virginal, innocent, pastor's daughter, red headed, senior at college. Poor Rhea catches the attention of not one, but three predatory men. One being her psychology professor. The other a frat boy jock who begins stalking Rhea right away. Rhea is too virtuous and wholly moral to ever stand a chance against these men.

Rhea is fighting against her overly religious upbringing. These men want to corrupt Rhea in every way possible so she can be liberated to explore her deepest desires. Except, Dean is her bully and Professor Shaw comes across as her mentor and savior, ready to liberate Rhea at any moment. Both are taking advantage of Rhea's naivety. There's a twist and some treachery, in regards to the third man. Rhea is their amusement. Rhea is prey and the men are the hunters, of Rhea. Underneath the prim and proper religious girl, lies a sexual awakening waiting to be explored. Exploring it in a BDSM club? Way to jump all in with someone she hates! However, things take a very twisted turn in this sex club of inequity. Talk about mind blown! 🤯😱 I never would've seen this coming in a million years! I give the twist part of the book 5 stars but the overall book 4 stars. So good but Rhea should've been more affected by this twist. I've read all of Annie Wilds' books. Although I liked this one, it wasn't my favorite.

Multiple men decide they want to own and rule Rhea, sexually. With dominant sex, surely comes emotions. That is a hard concept to navigate when multiple people are involved. I must say Rhea is letting her sexual awakening and desires rule her decisions. Rhea quite literally forgot the word NO or RED. I thought Rhea was smart? Its like all logic went out of Rhea's brain when seeing a man and just the mere thought of sex. This psychology student needs to take a hard look at herself, possibly in the mirror too. If I was Rhea, I might have a problem with this unrelenting need to be blindfolded for every sexual encounter. Somehow to me, that is very telling, add in no touching by Rhea. I really wonder if Rhea will, at some point, express regret or have conflicting feelings? This naive girl jumped off the deep, deep end without being able to swim. I have to think there is a reason for that, that doesn't actually involve the sex. This is a storm of epic magnitude, that's going to blow up in ALL their faces! How is everything going to play out with four people involved? Yes, four. There is a unconventional solution. I do have to wonder if Rhea was liberated or sexually repressed?

The novel was good. I got into reading right away. The sexual scenes especially involving multiple people, F-I-R-E 🔥🫦! Who knew underneath Professor Shaw was hiding all that? However, the rules worked for Rhea. The rules were certainly extreme and significant. Again, I think the reason Rhea needed this was because of her past. Plus I probably had 5 pages of quotes or commentary that I thought were great and important. There are a lot of potential triggers. Also a tremendous amount of BDSM sexcapades! Check the triggers before reading.

In so many books, we see the female lead (and on a few occasions the MMC) pulled into the BDSM world unwillingly, only to end up enjoying all it has to offer. But Rhea steps into it of her own accord though she doesn’t know what to expect, driven by a desire to explore and push the boundaries that have kept her confined her for so long. After years of repression, she’s ready to break free of her past, though I thought a sex club might have been a bit extreme. Whether she’s trying to shake off the weight of her strict religious upbringing or simply craving the taste of newfound freedom, that first step into Deviant was a fateful decision. From the moment Dean laid eyes on her, he wanted to claim her. So, imagine his surprise when she walks into the club. But he wasn’t the only one with his eye on Rhea. His twin brother, Ethan, was just as mesmerized, and together, they wanted to transform Rhea into their perfect submissive. Watching how her innate need to please played out in this dynamic was utterly captivating. However, the constant push and pull between the twins, both vying for her time, her attention and her submission, slowly took its toll. She was totally in their thrall, and though it was exhilarating at times, you have to ask at what cost? Perhaps that’s what drove her into the arms of her professor, in search of some sense of stability. But what happens when Rhea discovers the shocking connection between the twins and Professor Shaw? A revelation that changes everything. I absolutely loved the concept of high protocol and the structure it gave Rhea that she so desperately needed. But what stood out most was how the twins recognized that they had pushed too hard and that Rhea deserved better. Their care for her ran deeper than their need for control, and in the end, anything was better than losing her completely. I particularly liked one line in the book, which seems to sum things up nicely:
"The thing about morality, dear, is that it’s not as black and white as some would have us believe."
I couldn’t agree more.

This read took a spicy turn on me!

Rhea is a straight A student, never did anything wild, was raised in a strict religious home by parents who made her feel she was just a disappointment and was famned for all eternity. She was afraid to be herself and to grow as a person because of this upbringing.

Rhea moves far away from her home and her family values. She is studying psychology, and she has one hot and sexy professor, which she lusts over.

She also has Dom twins, Dean and Ethan, who become obsessed with her and can't let her go. She meets Dean at a party, and he is a total ass with her. Rhea turns him down, and he has to have her.

She bumps into him a couple of times, but one night, she wonders into a place and discovers it's a sex club owned by Dean's step-father. Things get spicy between the two, and he really becomes obsessed with her.

Due to mistaken identity, Rhea ends up "playing" with Ethan. Through jealousy, the brothers make it work, but they start becoming selfish and forgetting that a true Dom role is to also please his/her Sub.

Let me tell you, Rhea falls into her role as a sub, but hers and the twins' emotions are spriling out of control. They need someone to take control.

Now the twist 👀 when it comes to her professor, when you find out who he really is, his role, and how fits into this relationship will have you on edge.

The professor and the twins just want to make Rhea feel comfortable in her new role as a Sub. The scenes on these pages get really spicy 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 especially when her men are determined for Rhea to understand who she belongs to and to let go and accept her true self.

Even though my favorite was Dean, all three men were written deliciously. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Annie, you did an amazing job bringing these characters and the emotions to life. I love the fact that Rhea grew into the woman she always needed to be. Anybody who grew up in a strict religious home feels like they're always sinning and always being judged, so kuddos to you, Annie, for writing Rhea the way you did!

I was excited to read this one since it had a different theme than the other books. First off let me say I was enjoying the professor x student dynamic and was loving the slow burn. Then came Dean and I was like ok maybe it’ll be good with them both cuz I like why choose. Then came Ethan and I was like uh ok I guess one more. After they came the story kind of took a turn and it was more about them than the professor. It kinda felt like trying to piece a lot together at once. I kinda wish they were two separate books. One with the professor and one with just the boys. The whole break thing kinda was just dragged out. Don’t get me wrong though, the spicy parts were good! I enjoyed them and wish we had more because it did have a bdsm theme so I expected more scenes. It was a decent read though.

Favorite quotes:

"You can't help others navigate waters you're afraid to swim in yourself."

"You can and you will." He sucks hard on my clxt while driving the vibrating toy deeper, making me keen. "Because you're such a good girl for me, aren't you? And good girls take everything they're given. Every. Single. Gift."

“No girl has ever looked at me quite like this—like they see past all my arrogant defenses to the damaged kid beneath and want to stay anyway. It's terrifying. It's intoxicating. It's everything I've spent my life running from. And somehow, sitting here with her gentle hand on my leg and understanding in her eyes, I can't remember why I was running in the first place.”

"I want you to show me what that pretty mouth can do."

"And after they've thoroughly used you..." I pause to take a slow sip of wine, letting the anticipation build. "After they've marked you as theirs inside and out...then you'll crawl to me and show your Master proper appreciation."

"You're lucky to have that." Her sigh holds a wistfulness that makes me want to pull her into my arms. “To have someone who knows all your broken pieces and loves you anyway.”

"Keep your eyes on me. Let me see everything you're feeling. Show me how much you love being our little fxcktoy."

"Sometimes walking away is the harder choice."

Rhea Foster left her hometown and very religious family to start fresh in college. Turns out he knows the owner of the 𝘽𝘿$𝙈 𝙘𝙡𝙪𝙗 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙩, and Rhea is intrigued to say the least. This book was so addictive I ate it up like “Dean” did Rhea🙂‍↕️I was so surprised of the plot twists, and I loved the story as a whole. Nat is such a great best friend, I love how she cheers Rhea on💜 The fact that we get not one, but THREE MMC’s is crazy, and crazy good. I like how each character gave a different vibe to the story.

Dean’s character development was so interesting to follow, and Ethan turned out to be more to my liking than I thought🖤Professor Shaw definitely added a dimension to the plot, however the ending was a little too short/fast for me personally & that’s why I can’t give it five stars.

Annie is 100% an instant buy author for me so I knew I had to read this one!

This is a why choose with one female and three men. Honestly why choose isn't normally my thing but this was written so well! It's not all in your face like some why choose books can be and I love that. It actually makes sense.

Rhea is from a small town with a sheltered upbringing from being a pasters daughter and of course when she chooses to study psychology she is then shunned from her family. She meets the famous professor who seems to notice her right away. He doesn't really come into play into later in the book but we first meet Dean when she goes to frat party. He seems like a jerk at first and he is a major jerk to her but he secretly wants her BAD. Little did we know she talks herself into going into a BDSM club and wouldn't you know it Mr. Dean is there!

I don't wanna give anything away but next we meet Dean's brother Ethan who joins into this little group. I loved how each brother is so different and offer her something new to learn about herself. I also loved how impowered Rhea feels from this. Something that is honestly looked down on and considered taboo. It made her feel powerful in a world where we rarely feel that way as women! LOVE that so so much!

Next we get further with the professor and he joins in on the fun! I'm not gonna give it away but the plot twist had me going crazy! I never saw it coming!

The spicy was spicy, the plot was fantastic, and the characters and character development was top tier! Highly recommend this book to all my dark romance lovers! As always please check your triggers cause this does into some dark themes!

Rhea (h) thought she had it all figured out—college life, future plans, and staying under the radar. But when two intense and enigmatic twin brothers, Dean (H) and Ethan (H) , crash into her world, everything changes. Add in their stepfather, the commanding and mysterious Professor Shaw (H), and Rhea finds herself pulled into a seductive whirlwind of dominance, submission, and self-discovery. Torn between the twins’ fiery rivalry and Shaw’s masterful control, Rhea embarks on a journey that challenges her limits and forces her to confront her deepest desires she never knew existed, challenging everything she believed about herself. Caught between loyalty, love, and lust, Rhea must navigate their intertwined lives to find herself, and with the help of her three lovers, achieve the sustainable dynamic she needs and desires. Ultra-hot and steamy dark, emotional, erotic BDSM RH romance, with stalking, violence, degradation, consensual play/harm, and more, exploring desire, control, power, discipline, identity, trust, vulnerability, connection, and finding your place in the unlikeliest of worlds.

Annie Wild’s writing? Always a win for me. She knows how to deliver drama, steam, and characters that linger in your mind. When I heard she was dipping into the BDSM world with Deviant Obsession, I was beyond ready. And while there’s plenty to love about this book, it’s also a bit of a wild ride—for better and worse.

Let’s start with the positives: Dean and Ethan. Oh. My. God. These two are absolute fire, the kind of fictional men you daydream about for days. Rhea’s journey to embracing her sexuality was another highlight—I genuinely enjoyed watching her step into her power. The chemistry? Off the charts. The scenes? Hot enough to melt your Kindle.

But here’s where it gets complicated: as much as this is a fun, seductive fantasy, it’s a terrible take on BDSM dynamics. Boundaries? Nonexistent. Rules? Who needs ’em? Trust and mutual respect, the cornerstones of the lifestyle? Let’s just say they were missing in action. And if this dynamic exists in real life? Run. Don’t walk—run.

Speaking of running, Rhea’s best friend seriously dropped the ball. After all the glaring red flags, your advice is, “Go for it”? Girl, what? You were supposed to be the voice of reason, not the cheerleader for questionable decisions.

Now, don’t get me wrong—it’s a great story. The fantasy element is strong, the writing delivers, and the characters will keep you hooked. But please, please, don’t mistake this for a handbook on what actually happens in a BDSM club. This is fiction, folks, and that’s where it should stay.

Bottom line? Deviant Obsession is a spicy, swoon-worthy escape, but keep your critical thinking cap on. Enjoy the fantasy, but know the reality would look very different.

Annie's latest masterpiece is a game-changer. With 'Deviant', she shatters stigmas and misconceptions, presenting a captivating and nuanced exploration of the BDSM world. Rhea's journey from innocence to self-discovery is both poignant and empowering, as she navigates the complexities of desire, identity, and acceptance.

The characters are multidimensional and relatable, with Dean, Ethan, and Lloyd adding depth and richness to the story. Annie's writing is evocative and immersive, making it impossible not to become fully invested in Rhea's transformation.

What I appreciate most about this book is its thoughtful and realistic portrayal of the BDSM lifestyle. Annie tackles sensitive topics with care and respect, promoting understanding and acceptance.

The Why Choose aspect is expertly woven, adding a delicious layer of complexity to the narrative. Twists and turns keep the reader on edge, culminating in a stunning conclusion that will leave you breathless.

Overall, 'Deviant' is a triumph. It's a must-read for anyone looking for a thought-provoking and scintillating romance.

I love everything that Annie writes and this book was no different. This book is nothing like anything else she has written and I was OK with that. It brought me in at the very beginning kept my interest in the entire story. The female character actually has the same name as my daughter so that made me a little weary about reading this book, she was very innocent or so it seemed in the beginning of the book until she met the male main characters the twins. She was told by one of her professors, that she needed to learn to loosen up and enjoy doing things just because they feel good and she did just that with Dean and Ethan. She started learning exactly what she enjoyed. It turns out it wasn’t what everyone else would necessarily enjoy. The spicy scenes are definitely hot and did not disappoint, but I could tell she was writing the boys as being inexperienced in carrying out the scenes, my only wish was that the instruction to make the scenes better and more inclusive and caring for Rhea came in earlier in the book and I could have seen The characters grow more. I felt things were rushed at the end. That’s the only reason I did not give this book 5 stars otherwise I loved this book. Annie wrote another winner and I can’t wait to see what comes next.

Deviant Obsession was my first spicy book, and I have to admit—it was an intriguing read. The story had me hooked with its dark themes and the tension between the characters, especially between the twins and Rhea. Their dynamic was one of the most interesting aspects of the book, and I enjoyed seeing how their relationship unfolded throughout the story.

However, I wasn’t a fan of how the professor was incorporated into the plot. His presence felt unnecessary to me, and instead of adding to the story, I think it took away from what made the main relationships compelling. There were moments that had me fully engaged, but also parts that didn’t work as well for me.

Overall, I found Deviant Obsession to be an intriguing introduction to the genre. While some elements didn’t fully click for me, the story itself kept me turning the pages. If you enjoy dark romance with complex character dynamics, it might be worth checking out!

Lord. Have. Mercy.

I don't know where to start but what a story. Coming from the Bible belt, I definitely felt a kinship to Rhea and her family situation.  She's slow to step outside of the lines until a hot professor essentially challenges her to take those unexpected steps in life. Between a frat bully, a sex club, and some miscommunication... this story takes off. This book is all about discovering who you are and not being ashamed for who you are, what you like and who you love.

The plot is great although I feel there are some parts that are a little rushed but it doesn't take away from the book overall. Rhea is super relatable from the start. The spice was most definitely kicking. The dynamic and the way things change over the course of the book feel very real with the ages of the main characters. Overall this was a great read and an even better reminder to be who you are no matter what others think.

I honestly struggled with this one by no fault of the author…on paper this book is right up my alley for my usual reads. But there was just something about the FMC that I COULD NOT STAND for like 85% of the book I’m like for someone who doesn’t wanna be judged you really are judgy towards your bestie when she’s just trying to be supportive of you( I definitely preferred the bestie). There was definitely more character development of the MMC’s during that first 85% and when the FMC ran into the old lady it’s like she had her lightbulb moment and finally got her act together and everyone was cohesive (which the fact they didnt communicate before that was mind boggling) The whole psychological aspect of things was definitely a refreshing twist and by the time I finished I just sat back and was like dang…the way the author wrote all these characters the book was super good 💜💜

Definitely not what I was expecting but so, so, much more!

This book will drag you into the pages, eyes wide open, goosebumps crawling up your arms, a knot in your stomach. From the outset the tension is tangible, and it remains so until Rhea finally gives Dean what he wants. Then this book explodes into one of the hottest stories I've read in a while!

The plot plays out between the college campus and a sex club. There's some cool characters, especially the twins, low angst, plenty of spice, polyamorous situation in a BDSM lifestyle. What more could you want? Well, there's a couple of very good twists in this excellent plot, a very rare find in a sea of delicious smut, that had me admiring the author and seeking out her other novels.

Can't praise this enough! Smut heaven!.

Deviant Obsession was everything I didn’t know I needed — and then some.
Annie Wild delivers a sinfully addictive story packed with unapologetic spice, intense BDSM scenes, and three magnetic MMCs that stole my heart (and my sanity). Dean, in particular, had me completely hooked — broody, dominant, and absolutely unforgettable.

The chemistry between the characters was off the charts, and the emotional connection threaded between all the heat made this book impossible to put down. Every scene was crafted with care, creating a world that felt decadent, dark, and deliciously dangerous.

If you love steamy, high-stakes romance with a deviant twist and characters that own the page, this book is a must-read. Annie Wild doesn’t just push boundaries — she breaks them, and I loved every minute of it.

Meh

I was really interested in this book when it first started even though Dean's "bullying" was childish. But from the moment Rhea walked into the club the author started to lose me. She hates Dean but is following him in a s-x club that whole interaction was weird. Then one minute they're talking. He tells her to get on the cross, but she never takes off her clothes, but somehow she has none on. The author lost me for good when she agreed to be a trio but the the author skips ahead. Never really going into how their trio works, or their dynamic, they have already just been together a while. It's not just about wanting more smut (which is always great) it's about seeing the inner workings of their dynamic from the beginning, showing not telling.

Well that plot twist certainly took me by surprise 😳
I hate boyfriend’s dad trope & never would have read it if I’d known…but that would’ve spoiled the book
Here’s all my rambled thoughts-
Rhea literally gave in THE SAME DAY she told Dean to eat shit. Come on really?!
Rhea was sorry for what she did to the twins yet she curled up in the professors lap like nothing 🤣
And she talked to HIM first?!
AND the twins thought it was all their fault she slept with someone else?! Ugh
I’m sorry but this wasn’t the one for me.
I liked Deans character growth throughout the book but that’s about it.
And let’s be honest…this is one of those situations where the couples don’t stay together after the book ends. Dean is too jealous 🤷‍♀️

This book was such a genuine surprise, I really enjoyed it. At first I thought it was going to be like many of the reverse harems books because of Dean’s nastiness but I quickly fell in love with his character, even Ethan eventually although the twist of his introduction was a shock that I loved and changed my whole thought process on the dynamic. I would have loved way more scenes with professor Shaw and more of an ending but I did genuinely get into this book and was sad when it ended. I want to read more from Annie Wild.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

PLOT TWIST AND SPICE 🥵🥵

This is a dark why choose romance and boy is it spicy 🥵🤭

Rhea is trying to find her place in the world while working through her trauma of her past. During this time she is faced with temptations she never would have imagined . These temptations come in the form of THREE.. yes 3🤭, dark , fine men who all want to help her while also giving her the safe space to experience things she’s curious about . The twists were twisting and the spice was spicing !! I won’t give too much away but if you love slow burn , who choose romances with an inexperienced FMC and highly experienced MMCs then this is the book for you !!

Okay Seriously! What does Annie put in her MMCs?! They are unrivaled!
Her morally grey men are simply TOP Tier!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌶🌶🌶🌶

While this wasn't my favorite AW read, it was definitely an amazing introduction into the why choose trope! Good thing too cause these MMCs make it impossible to choose! The multiple POVs! Chef's Kiss! Annie Wild Does Not Miss!

This story will test your pokerface and mine definitely crumbled! I was dodging my more conservative relatives when they asked what I was reading. Use caution when reading in public. 🤭

Grab a copy for yourself and cozy up for a WILD read.
