Drew is an enjoyable and engaging romance about two opposites finding love against all odds. Their story reads like a rollercoaster of funny, entertaining episodes laced with attraction, insecurities, and developing feelings. It is an enticing and captivating narrative that keeps the reader’s attention. Despite a straightforward plot, it is a refreshing and entertaining story about two opposites: Drew, a middle-aged rockstar hiding his inner small-town boy mentality, recovering after a messy breakup, and Taylor, a younger, socially reclusive small-town florist. The sparks are flying between the two immediately after their first meeting. Based on their breakups with previous partners, they are both reluctant to venture into their attraction, fearing heartbreak and disappointment.
It is an enjoyable and sparkling experience following them on their path of overcoming insecurities and misunderstandings to surrender to their unavoidable destiny and acknowledge that they are falling for each other deeply and quickly. The characters are easy to love and developed enough to relate to and understand their emotions and decisions.
What to expect: An easy-to-read, straightforward plot, engaging and eloquently written, heartwarming romance, captivating and entertaining without overwhelming emotions.
What not to expect: A dark drama with high angst, suspense, complex emotions, and sensitive and challenging issues.
Disclaimer: I firmly believe that for every book written, there is a reader who will appreciate and enjoy it. This review reflects my personal and subjective opinion and should be read as such.
I received an ARC of this book. Regardless, this review is an independent and genuine reflection of my thoughts.

This book made my heart sing
Taylor had moved to Jasper Springs after breaking up with his boyfriend. He wanted a new start, and to make his dream of owning his own flower shop come true. Which he succeeded in. He also made some really good friends and was happy, but sometimes lonely. When his friend G gets him to go out with her to see the famous Drew Axel perform, he found himself lost in Drews eyes while he sang.
Drew decided to come home to Jasper Springs. The band had decided to concentrate on their solo careers, and it was also a perfect time to get away from his lying cheating ex. Who he caught in bed with another man. He was playing performances in small venues. That night he decided to zone in on a sexy man in the crowd, and he totally got lost. What was even better was, he was sat with a friend that he went to school with. Giselle. But it looks like Taylor is not bowled over by the rock star.
What would happen when Drew invited Gisele Julie and Taylor back to the band bus?? Could this be the start of something beautiful?? I’ve got to say I thoroughly enjoyed this book I really liked seeing the real Drew behind the rockstar. And the connection he felt with Taylor. A really good read. I am super loving this series.

"Drew" by Eve Riley is a captivating addition to the Jason Springs series that had me hooked from the start. Having read the previous books in the series, I was eager to dive into this one, and it exceeded all my expectations.

The story follows Taylor, a florist with a broken heart from years past, and Drew, a rockstar whose tough exterior hides a vulnerable core. The writer beautifully and deeply develops both characters, making them relatable and drawing me in with their emotional depth and authenticity.

What stood out to me most was the poignant exploration of love and heartbreak woven throughout the narrative. Riley masterfully balances the tender moments with the more intense emotions, keeping me engaged until the very end.

The writer expertly crafted the dynamics between Taylor and Drew, allowing their relationship to develop naturally. I appreciated both characters stayed true to their dreams, which added a realistic touch to their romance.

Overall, "Drew" is a heartwarming and nostalgic tale of love, self-discovery, and the importance of staying true to oneself. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy small-town romance with depth and charm.

A wonderful 3rd book in the Jasper Springs series by Eve Riley. Throw in some wonderful minor characters makes for an awesome Breakfast Clubesque type of characters! A florist, a rock singer, and the american beauty makes for a unique “groupie”. I absolutely enjoyed reading this one despite the fact that I am Deaf and I don’t particularly care for books with singers. I was wary that I wouldn’t enjoy it because of the rock band singer but I devoured it!!! That says something about Ms. Riley’s style!!! I’d give this one 5 stars!

The story focuses on Drew, a singer who was publicly humiliated by his famous boyfriend decided to do some traveling by singing in different places. By doing this, it brought him back to Jasper Springs where he grew up.

Taylor, a florist, was persuaded to meet his friends to listen to this musician who was passing through even if he didn’t want to. When he got there, he could feel the heat by the singer and to make it hard, he constantly would stare at Taylor as if he was singing directly to him. I’ll stop here and encourage you to pick up the book to read to find out what happens after that hot energy!

This is the third book in this series with all new characters. The story is simple. Rockstar Axel returns to his hometown where one of his former classmates drags a introvert florist to the performance. Taylor, the florist has guarded his heart since his high school sweetheart went off to find fame which makes Taylor extra cautious about even meeting the Rockstar.

Eventually, because Axel's schedule changes he is around longer than expected. Taylor gets to show off his vocal abilities in a karaoke and a night together changes things. Axel wants to get out of the limelight and settle down while Taylor finds a mutual love for Swift songs and provides a home base for Axel in his home town - the book ends with Axel taking three months off from travel to be with Taylor.

This book is a quick read - does not warrant 5 stars as there is nothing exceptional but it is a good fun read if you just want to get lost for a few hours.

This is the third book in the Jasper Springs series. Each book can be enjoyed as a standalone. This is the story of Drew Axel and Taylor Meade. Drew is a hometown rockstar who was dumped and hurt by his boyfriend of one year. While performing, he has to be so many different things to different people. He is sure no one will ever love or want to know the real him. Taylor is a local florist. He moved to town seven years ago after being told by his boyfriend "that he wasn't enough" He too has walls around his heart and believes that no one will ever want the real him. The two of them meet through a common friend. And other than each being "Swifties" they don't recognize the things that they do have in common. But fate isn't through throwing these two together. This is their story. I really enjoyed this book. It was fun to read. The book is written well and is easy to read. I look forward to the next book in this series.

This book features two men meeting up in Jasper Springs when Drew, a rock star visiting his home town while his band is on break, meets Taylor, a mutual friend of an old high school friend and the town’s florist. Drew has recently had a very public breakup from his year long relationship, and Taylor is still very damaged by his breakup seven years ago. Both seem to think no one would really want the “real me”, and a very wary of any commitment or more than a vacation hookup. But the physical attraction is strong, and the emotional attraction soon follows, leading them to hope for more, all with Taylor Swift songs in the background.

Relatable, realistic characters with realistic reactions given their past experiences. Good world building with the small town atmosphere. An enjoyable read in the Jasper Springs universe.

I received an ARC from the author and this is my voluntary review.

This was the third instalment in the Jasper Springs universe that sees a rockstar (Drew) and florist Taylor (who funnily enough is a big Swiftie). Both are recovering from the emotional wounds of previous relationships and though these two are different personalities they have a few things in common. Taylor is as sweet as they come and not sure about jumping into a relationship with the bad boy rockstar.

This can be read as a standalone, as there isn't a huge cross over with other characters, thought there are the occasional connections. These are explained pretty well and it's a series that's light and easy enough to go back, without feeling as if the current book has spoiled all the plot. This instalment is pretty low angst, and reasonably light on the drama. It's a nice read - a good way to spend some time on a weekend. Enough to be invested in for sure.

Not earthshattering though either.

About 3.75 stars.

Drew is a rock star and has decided to move back to his small hometown and begin to heal from a rough breakup. Taylor lives in said small town and is a florist. These two wind up hungover and together in Drew's tour bus. What happens now? Well, there is some angst due to how popular Drew and his ex are and Taylor has some issues from his past as well. I like how this book shows the side of our rock star that is vulnerable and not as sure of himself in "real" life as he is on stage. It also shows our florist as being stronger and working on being able to open up to his new "friend", Drew. Read along to this next book in the series and fall in love with both of these young men as they work towards each other.

Jasper Springs... A small town full of interesting people. Taylor is a florist, just trying to do what he loves and keep his business going. His two best friends talk him into going to a local bar to hear Drew play a set. Rock really isn't his kind of music, but there's something about the guy up at the mic who is singing Taylor Swift songs.

Drew is taking a break from touring with the band and is doing his own thing. After a bad breakup he jyst wants to sing his own songs and chill for a while. Seeing the cute florist with friends peaks his interest. Soon he's seeking out Taylor's shop and going out on dates.

Book three is jyst as good as the first two books and I'm looking forward to reading book four!.

Drew had a very public split from his actor lover that TMZ showed Roger throwing out Drew’s clothes. Drew was a rock star his band was taking time off so after 20 years him and his manager moved back to his hometown and began preforming in different bars. Giselle talked Taylor into going to a bar that Drew was singing at and was a good friend of Drew too from school. Taylor met her when he bought the florist shop and moved there and wasn’t sure if he wanted anything to do with Drew as his ex left him behind and was in a band. Giselle and Julia made Taylor go to another concert so Drew sang to him, Drew made him believe that they could have a long distance relationship when he had to go on the road especially since Roger wanted him back. Good book!

I'm giving this 3 stars because I really liked Drew as a character; I wanted to know more about his career and friends and I thought he was a good mix of sweet, surprisingly down to earth and charismatic. Sadly, I didn't really gel with Taylor though. I thought there was a lot of potential there and I could see the local boy - rockstar vibes ripe for the taking. However, for me Taylor was far too prickly for far too long. Drew hadn't even done anything to warrant it so it just made Taylor seem like a giant you know what. They did have some explosive chemistry though which was good to read. Like I said, I loved Drew so I did enjoy parts of the story but the romance here just wasn't my favourite.

I received an ARC and this is my honest review.

I loved Drew: An MM Bad Boy Rockstar Romance Book 3 of Jasper Springs. Drew Axel returned home for the first time in 20 years to Jasper Springs. Taylor is a small town florist, they couldn’t be more different. When Drew starts singing Taylor Swift, it melts the ice around Taylor’s heart a little. He’s cautious and he knows Drew is leaving soon. Why would a rock star want a florist? It doesn’t make sense but he does. When Drew’s ex shows up, Taylor believes the worst. Can Drew show him the truth? I loved the storyline and the characters. They may seem to different but in reality they are perfect for each other. I would definitely recommend this book and the series.

While this definitely wasn't my favorite book in this series, I still think it's pretty good! Drew and Taylor are a cute couple and the rockstar trope isn't abused like it is in most stories like this. If you like Tylor Swift you will definitely enjoy this book more than I did, as a lot of the things Drew and Taylor connection relate to her. I am not a fan of her, therefore i had no reference for the gravity of certain things that were alluded too. That is really the only reason this isn't 4 or 5 stars. It truly is a great read!

Drew comes home to Jasper Springs for a little R&R & to play a few little hometown clubs. While he's singing at M's place his best friend Giselle comes with one of her friends Taylor. We learn through the story Drew & Taylor are fellow Swifties. They slowly hit it off, Taylor thinks Drew is just one of those big shot rock stars who can get whomever he wants & is just not going for until... One drunkin night & all bets are off. Through the uncomfortableness of a one night stand they become friends, they date and find they more than like each other. Axel, a famous rock star and Tayler, a small town florist. They both had a love for Taylor Swift. Talk about opposites attracting. These two definitely opposites.

I am sure Helena would never admit it. However, she was Axel's protector. It was nice to see. I loved her.

I love this small town series so much. I want to live in Jasper Springs. There is drama, however, minimal. Which is refreshing. I have read this whole series thus far. I look forward to more. They can be read as standalones. They all have HEA.

Tested and passed! Drew, has gone as far as he can in his career. He is ready for a change and his public disagreement with his ex, gives him the push he needs. He goes back to his hometown of Jasper Springs. Taylor, thinks finding his one is not going to happen. He tells himself he is content, with his job with the flower shop. Then Drew and Taylor meet and discover new things about themselves. They face a decision point of having to make possibly career defining decisions. Both men learn to stand takk and lean on each other. Good story, great discoveries, nice characters, excellent cover art. I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Jasper Springs, book Three. Drew. I thought this book was very well written. Taylor who had been in a very bad relationship and Drew who had completely lost himself in the character he had to be for his fans. Two broken men who were both afraid to commit and love again. All those feelings are also somewhat expressed by music by Taylor Swift. Not my favorite, but fitting for this story. Gives us all some hope that there is someone walking on this earth for us too and that we should certainly not give up or think that we are not worth loving. Good to read.

Drew returns home for a break from his rockstar life. Recovering from his break up and just wanting to find himself, he is doing a self tour around the area.
Taylor is the local florist and his friend drags him to Drew's concert. Taylor hasn't been with anyone after his high school break-up.
Taylor at first comes off as rude, he doesn't want to give Drew a chance to break his heart.
Drew is sweet, done to earth and the more that Taylor gets to now him he can see the pain behind his eyes.
Overall, this is a sweet, low angst story with a HFN

Drew is a bonafide rockstar. Visiting his home town of Jasper Springs to kick off a short solo tour he meets Taylor, a local florist. Their shared addiction to Taylor Swift sort of brings them together and they fall hard for each other very quickly.

Not a whole lot of deep development between the main characters however some of the peripheral people were very entertaining.

The story was low angst. Not a complicated story, just a sweet tale about two men from totally different worlds who just clicked with each other.

I received an arc of this book.

Drew (Axel) and Taylor are 'tailor made' for each other. They've both had bad breakups with cheating exes. Drew was from Jasper Springs and Taylor lives there. And they both love the music of Taylor Swift. But falling for a famous rock star isn't easy. Lots of angst. Drew isn't as confident as his Axel persona. And Taylor isn't sure he has anything to offer Drew. The pair of them have a hot and sweet chemistry. And some nosy, interfering friends.

I'm undecided as to whether there's a HEA here. And while it is a very nice book, not my favorite of the series. It was a quick read. Just a bit disappointing. But read in series order, it does fit in.

I do enjoy the play on the name of the group. This time we got to enjoy Drew singing cover songs on his solo trip to the area around Jasper Springs. His meeting Taylor was a spark to the flame and had both the steam and emotions going when they were together. Both had been hurt in the past and wary of a relationship.
This author captures one's attention and had this reader jumping through hoops to charge devices during a power outage to finish the book.

Rockstar Drew returns to Jasper Springs after an absence of twenty years.
After a bad breakup from his actor boyfriend Rockstar Drew Axel does a solo tour of small venues including Jasper Springs where he grew up. He does a jig at M's Place there and meets old school friend Gizelle there and become attracted to her friend Taylor Meade. This Rockstar romance is where the glitter has worn off and the need to be needed for himself has become dominant.

Drew is a rock star who after a very public break up decides to go back to his hometown to perform in dome small venues and heal. Florist, Taylor, had been hurt in the past and still wary of relationships. They meet when a mutual friend asks Taylor to watch Drew play. They have an instant connection but they are both nervous to take things further. Sweet, steamy romance with amazing chemistry, loving, caring, vulnerable hero’s and a lovely HEA.

Drew and his band are on a break and he is doing a small tour to small towns, the first in his home town, Jasper Springs. He isn't looking for a relationship because he just broke up with his cheating boyfriend. Taylor owns the floral shop in Jasper Springs and not looking for someone. He was hurt by his ex several years ago and afraid to open his heart again. When the two meet Drew wants more than friendship but Taylor is afraid of being hurt again but it might be too late. I'm really enjoying this book and the series.

Taylor has been burned and has a hard time opening himself up. He makes a lot of assumptions and is extremely rude to Drew. Luckily for him Drew is into that and still tries to connect with Taylor, despite his band recent experience. Seeing them find their way to each other and their HEA was sweet and I really enjoyed the story.

Taylor, a florist, meets Drew , a rock star, through a friend. Both are soured on life- and men- from exes dumping or cheating but both are irresistibly drawn. Taylor is a sarcastic, defensive, untrusting and insecure guy and Drew is a wounded bird. It's a sweet story of two guys falling in love with a background of Taylor Swift songs. You wish them nothing but happiness. I received a copy of this book through Booksirens and this is my voluntary opinion.
