This was a action packed quick read that kept me on the edge of my seat hoping that everyone would get through the rescue mission safely. Dane and Ginger had instant sparks that turned into full blown flames by the end of the book.
I enjoyed this book over all but the way the FMC spoke took me out of the story a bit, it didn't take away from the storyline just something that took awhile to get used to.

This story was about Dane and Ginger. This story had wonderful plots, tons of action, and heartfelt emotion. The main characters had a strong connection, which I loved. Both were strong characters as well. The author did an amazing job with this book, and I enjoyed the storyline. Although I have not read book one, I am eager to do so as well. Highly recommended!!

This is the 2nd book in the Fitzpatrick series, the 1st being Surrender.
Just like the 1st book, it did bot disappoint. Ginger and Dane are made for each other. Nice quick read full of action and spice.

The dedication page is just perfection; diving into this book blind without ever reading the 1st one was an experience. It did not disappoint, I love Ginger and Dane's characters, they are so strong and both powerful in their own ways. It is definitely worth a read to dive into the life of Ginger and Dane as they go through it all.

I loved the plot of this novel so much, even without the smutty bits! Usually I’m looking forward to the banter, and all that jazz for a romance, but honestly, the plot she had written out was just too enthralling that you forget it’s a romance novel too. This had me in the edge of my seat through its entirety. Would make for a great limited series! Would have finished it a lot sooner because it’s one you don’t want to put down, but life got in the way. I’ll be reading the rest of the series as they come out! Don’t know how she’ll top this one but I have every confidence she will!

The quote that spoke to my soul when I read this book. Every woman wants to hear these types of words spoken to them. The feeling that we are strong even in the face of a storm. That the man of our dreams thinks we can still stand even through all thats thrown our way. A strong willed woman but we know we can break in the company of our man. If one quote makes you run to read a book, let it be this quote.
To be completely honest, this head cold made it take a moment to get into this book and I even said “I need something epic to pull me in.” Well author Samara Reed said “hold my beer” and dropped the bomb that grabbed my attention. Just buckle in, she’s going to take us on a ride but I promise, if you like mafia, you will love this ride! I absolutely love that the title of this book is exactly what the plot of the book was about. Dane was righting the wrongs of his family and had Ginger along side the entire time.
Author Samara Reed did such a beautiful job with this book. I felt like this book moved and that it wasn’t stuck in one spot. The entire plot was perfect and consistent. Also I loved how the love felt natural. Like it wasn’t a lot of “can’t fall for them” or “this is wrong” or “its too soon” etc. This love story truly fell into perfect place.
This is my first time reading anything from Samara Reed but I will be back to read more. I truly loved how the flow of this book felt. I can’t wait to see what comes next from Samara Reed!!

Goodness, I loved this book! Ginger and Dane are everything, the chemistry, the power play between them, the spice....so good!
I really enjoyed enjoyed their similar back stories and their shared childhood trauma. I felt like it added a depth to their relationship, almost a maturity of sorts.
The action was so intense. I was glued to my Kindle through the entire thing, on the edge of my seat.

This was a great read with an immersive detailing of the world building. I love Dane and Ginger's relationship. It's packed full of tension and the spice is good. The reason I gave this a 4 out of 5 is Gingers way of speaking, it threw me off. Overall it was a great read though.
