About the author

Brooke Keith's poetry for children has appeared in children's magazines and storybooks around the world. She is a devotional and family writer for the Christian Broadcasting Network, a columnist for War Cry Magazine and a regular contributor for many well-loved Christian magazines such as Mature Living, Christianity Today, and Young Salvationist among others. When Brooke isn't writing, she is a volunteer and mentor for the Hugs and Hope Foundation.

Radically Red: Dare to Live the Words of Christ by Brooke Keith was a beautiful reading experience.

With the words of Christ highlighted and many heartwarming devo-styled entries, Keith encouraged readers to live out the Word and to find what they need in it.

What I Liked:
- the immediate visual appeal; the cover was simple but pleasing to the eye
- the red theme utilized throughout the book made me appreciate and reflect on Christ, His sacrifice, and His connection to those who follow Him
- the Daily Dare written per entry
- the Q & A in each section (questions were more functional than academic)
- the soft journal-like format that was laid out

I received an ARC of Radically Red: Dare To Live The Words of Christ by Brooke Keith. I have read through the book and totally enjoyed it. It is written as a daily devotional, starting with the words of Jesus in red, followed by a heartwarming devotion, with questions and answers at the end of each day, along with a daily dare. You can read the book as I did straight through or as a daily devotional. Would also make an excellent group study.

I love the red theme throughout the book it makes you reflect on Jesus and his love for all.
I will be going back and re-reading this now as a daily devotion. I am looking forward to it.

This 40 day collection full of personal reflections and encouragement based on the words of Jesus in the gospels. It was different than I thought. Rather than the commands of Jesus, Keith gives us encouraging and comforting words. Her reflections on the Scripture are very personal, such as her being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and trusting God for her future. She includes questions and space for writing. There is also a challenge to action at the end of each reading. This book would make a good choice for a Lenten or Advent reading.
