DJI Phantom 2: How to Fly Drones, Quad Copters, and The Phantom 2

Rate this book
I have been fascinated with the DJI Phantom 2 ever since I first saw it in 2013. I was quick to purchase one, and quick to make a ton of mistakes with the first one I had, and when I was starting out there reallt was no where for me to go to find the information I needed to fly safely, avoid fly-aways, and to understand just how to turn things on, and get to making great videos.

I have been a professional video editor and producer since 1993, and I’m excited to explore how the Phantom can change the way videos are made,
by being able to put the camera in places never before seen or thought of before.

I’m always searching for information, on how to use these machines with less friction and I wanted to put together a guide for people starting out, and this is that guide.
This Guide assumes you know very little about the Phantom 2, and that you are wanting to learn in the shortest period of time possible. It is designed for you to get up in the air quick and safe.

In this book I cover the following areas of using your Phantom 2

> Preventing Fly-aways

> Where to Buy

> 2D Gimbal vs 3D Gimbal

> What GoPro to use

> Learning to Fly

> Where to Fly

> Adding FPV (First person view)

> Best Antennas

> IOSD

> Video editing tips

> Upgrading your lens

> Upgrading your controller

> Motor upgrades

> Propeller balancing and upgrades

> Batteries and Tips

> Software

> Parachutes

This guide is written so you can quickly get up in the air and start using your new phantom, not reading about it.

Easy read intro to Phantom but lacks proofreading

Easy read intro to Phantom but lacks proofreading

Good intro booklet on the DJI Phantom with helpful advice and references to additional info. Suffers horribly from lack of even the most basic proofreading. I couldn't even figure out what some sentences were saying. I'd like to give it another star because it was light and entertaining as well as useful but it was just too poorly edited, if at all.
