An excellent resource for anyone interested in beginning their deconstruction journey of dogmatic faith systems. It’s a quick read that plants seeds of reason in a once irrational thought process.

Having recently read Will Gervais’ Disbelief, this book maintains the tone of new atheism. The atheist belief is that If only we can offer better arguments then religious believers will deconstruct. This isn’t true exactly, though I used to think it was. Beliefs are culturally constructed and transmitted and so we don’t believe in a vacuum- we are entrenched in families, relationships and communities that affirm our beliefs. This means there is an emotional component to deconstruction- not just a rational one. Reasoned Reality instagram puts out amazing content often.
