a fantastic resource on southeast Asian cooking. Beautiful photographs, great recipes and descriptions of the origins of them. Love the glossary in the back explaining some of the unknown ingredients and how to use them. So excited to start cooking!

A basic introduction to the "best of" hits from Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, and more. Lovely watercolor illustrations and full color photos. Very light on research and cultural context, techniques, and consistent themes.
