Following the events of “ U.S. Hidden Revenge,” Timber and Else part ways and both find themselves in Fredricksburg for different reasons. Timber is investigating Judge Westbrook—a judge Governor Fullerton doesn’t trust and has a bad feeling about. Else, following her instinct to become a bounty hunter, heads back to where it all started for her. Together they collide once more and find themselves in the middle of a spiralling cat and mouse game with lawbreakers.

From the moment they meet up, the action comes thick and fast as nothing is right in Fredricksburg with Timber and Else having to use every ounce of their talent to unravel a mystery that threatens to leave them dead. Timber and Else are in trouble—and only they can get themselves out of it.

Timber is like good wine, as wine's flavor increase, with age! As,Timber does!!

Just, another walk in the park for Author Hanlon, as each new story he tells seems to be better than the previous one!
these endearing storylines will definitely keep any reader turning pages, to see what excitement his lead character might become involved in next! This is his very best, thus far, and I have been fortunate to read all books in this series!
Too, his character selections, are perfectly selected for their respective assignments! These guys, and gal, go about their respective roles with vigor, whether it's the good guys, or the bad guys!
This is,a must read for anyone, regardless of your normal reading desires, as you will enjoy riding along enjoying the ongoing excitement!!!😃

Getting near the end and still all alone.

I have to put this comment in sometime. I’m hoping in the last of these books somewhere the author might want to share the story of his long lost child from Timber’s second wife. I think it’d be really cool if he had a son and he came searching for Timber and found him in his later years, but these books have already been written. I just hope I see it.
