Working Together: A MMM Workplace Romance

Rate this book
Oliver Johansen was thrown a curve ball when his company asked him to work directly with Casen Robinson. Not only was he used to making decisions on his own, he’d also never heard of the supposed tech guru. After their first brief meeting he decided to go with the flow and mix business and pleasure while he dismantled the struggling gaming company Apex Investing put him in charge of. Casen was bored and lonely, stifled by his wealth and isolation, so he grasped the lifeline his friends at Apex offered him. He was off to New York to investigate the viability of the gaming company, Solient Games, and also see if its new platform could be used in other Apex companies. After his first meeting with the Apex powerhouse Oliver Johansen, he was also hoping for some personal fun. Their plans for a brief fling were disrupted by the young, hardworking and delectable Jeremiah Walker. Jeremiah, along with his entire company, was blindsided to wake to the news of Solient’s private sale to the larger investment firm, Apex. He’d spent many late nights trying to keep his struggling company moving forward, and all that was in jeopardy when Oliver’s impressive resume of destruction was released. After an embarrassing first meeting, Jeremiah found himself working closely with Casen to prove there was something worth saving at Solient Games, and beyond that, find out if there was something worth exploring for the three of them.

Horrific Grammar

Seriously wonder if English is the first language of this author; confusing sell and sale multiple times, isle is used for aisle every time. There’s no editing to speak of. Horribly distracting from what could have been a very good story.

Jeremiah- A brilliant gaming programmer, being manipulated by a hack boss, gets his chance to shine.
Caden- A coding genius finds his people.
Oliver- A guy whose been very successful dissolving assets gets to build something special
