Ollie’s always been drawn to trouble, but he’s never met trouble quite like Fin before…

Ollie’s difficult to love. The youngest of five. The problem child. And after getting dumped by his boyfriend, he’s aimless—more invisible than ever. But when Fin drops into his life like a hurricane, one hookup with them opens up a whole new kinky world…at Whipped.

Fin never does relationships. Dodging around their drunk dad as a kid was enough for them to steer clear of anything lasting. Yet when Fin uncovers what a perfect sub Ollie is, a total diamond in the rough, they can’t help but find excuses to meet up again—and what better than as the model for Fin’s first photography show?

The more time they spend together, the more of Fin’s rules they break, sleeping over, actual dates, everything Fin swore to avoid. Not only is their connection unparalleled, but Ollie sees Fin in a way no one else has, and for the first time, Fin’s looking for a future. However, when Fin’s past collides with present threats, the tremulous bond they’ve begun to form is destined to shatter.

Enter Whipped, a unique cafe that caters to coffee and kink addicts alike...

Wonderful, sexy, fun, are a few words I'd use to describe this book. Fin is just mesmerizing. And Ollie is the wonderful himbo everyone loves. The MCs have so much depth, Kat doesn't write one-dimensional characters, and if they would it would be because they wanted to.
The "Dungeons & Dating" cameo was so fun! The "Leather & Lattes" family has me begging for more. I love the way the author writes kink, which includes all the MC's POVs. This book as so fun, Finley was so interesting, and even though one feels like "damaged goods" and that there's no fixing it up, there is always people who feel the same way who share the same pain, we're never alone. Specially with the wonderful chosen family that loves unconditionally.
Very well written, I loved every second, and I love *Follie* so so much. They are remarkable ❤️. And soooo fun! I can't wait to catch up on how they are doing on the next book.
Ollie's and Fin's connection and chemistry were out of this world. I ate it all up.

Fin has finally met their perfect sub in Julian's brother Ollie. Ollie is new to the kink scene and newer to understanding his attraction to all genders. These two meet for an explosive scene together, not knowing if they'll see one another again. Fin is that weird, perfect combination of a bratty Dom who needs a snarky sub who just accepts them as they are. The pocessive nature while still both having feelings is that right dichotomy of two people trying to figure out now to make this work out. This book could come across a Fin centric, but the balance just works cause of Ollie's other issues he's all learning to come to terms with. Kat handles self-harm recovery in a respectful and not over the top way, where you get the feelings behind the thoughts, but it's not politely put insensitive to readers with similar pasts. Another great addition to this kink based series with that right blend of angst, kink, and a found family that will do everything and anything for the people they allow into the inner circle.

Kat hitting us hard in the feels with book 4 of the Leather & Lattes series. Heavy on the kink and found family with queer and disability reps. This is Fin and Ollie's story. I absolutely loved the characters, their dynamics together and their growth - and the entire Whipped crew. Can be read as a standalone but definitely best reading them all in order.

⚠️ triggers for parental abuse (mostly off page, one short instance on page), alcoholic parent, urge to self harm/past of (cutting).

Release date is September 23rd.

I LOVED this book from start to finish. I adore it and already want to reread it. Not only do the emotions really pack a punch, but the found family vibes (and actual siblings) are just sooo GOOD. One scene in particular between two brothers had me tearing up. Even with all the emotional bits (that were so, so well written) it just felt so safe and warm. And as with the rest of this series, it had some really fun, kinky scenes 🔥

Something about this entire series is just so, so refreshing!

Filtration Play is the 4th book in the Leather and Lattes series. This book can be read as a standalone but in my opinion this series is best read in order. This is the story of Ollie and Fin. I loved the characters and all the feels that we get in this book. The kink and chemistry are perfect. I love this series so much because of the found family aspect. I can't wait for the next book in the series. I would definitely recommend this book and series as 5 star reads.

I loved Fin from the moment we met them in Immersion Play, and I am SO excited to get their story! They broke me and healed me all at the same time as we have very similar life stories and seeing them so strong and confident but vulnerable at the same time—when they allowed themself to be—was very touching and needed.
Ollie is such a great character as well. I have things in common with him too and I cried reading his struggles because it was so real and raw.
Katherine McIntyre is writing something special with this series, and I am here for it.

💬 My Thoughts:
👉 This book completely stole my heart. Fin and Ollie had such intense, beautiful chemistry... I was blushing at their spicy scenes and swooning at their tender ones, because wow... this story is packed with some of the spiciest moments. 🌶 And the way Fin calls Ollie their little... even though he’s such a big guy (with all the deliciously dirty nicknames like “slutty little tease” and “pretty little boy”)... 🤌 Mmmm... 🫠 oh-ooh, I was melting!

❤️‍🩹 Ollie broke me a little at first... so vulnerable, so eager to be seen, and Fin, with all their sharp edges, was exactly the person to see him clearly. 🫠 Their connection felt electric, but also deeply emotional. I loved watching Fin slowly break their own rules as their bond with Ollie grew.

☕ The found family at Whipped is one of my favorite parts. Every character brings warmth, humor, and support. It feels like walking into a café full of love, kink, and acceptance.

✨💘 This is going straight to my favorites shelf... Spicy, heartfelt, funny, and healing. The banter made me grin, the emotional beats hit me in the chest, and the romance gave me butterflies! 😘🤌

▪︎FAV QUOTES▪︎
■ Fin: Ollie melted into the kiss. Fuck, this massive man surrendering to them so easily was heady, but what was headier was knowing Ollie’s guardedness. How he didn’t give like this to just anyone.
They’d won him over fair and square, and they didn’t want to let go.

■ Ollie: He loved the way they fixated on him. How they made him feel seen when he’d spent so many years feeling invisible.

■ Ollie: “Pretty sure it’s too late there. Clearly, I’m already ruined. And not just my hole.”

Ugh, such a tease 😏. Absolute menace. 🤭

🏳️‍⚧️ 📖 👍 I'm definitely going to read this again. 📖🏳️‍⚧️

Series: Leather And Lattes #4
Story: 5/5

I ADORE this book!
Completely head over heals over this story 😆

Kat strikes perfection again.
Ollie and Fin's hurt and healing journey touch me deeply.
Fin's brattiness and dark humor with Ollie sweet heart, so different but they fit seemingly together.

What I love more about this book (besides the scorching heat) was how Kat portraits both MC's mental health, it wasn't cure by their love for each other, just the support you need to take care of yourself.

Fin has finally met their perfect match, well, perfect Sub, in Julian's little brother Ollie. This story is heavy on the kink, found family goodness, and mental health representation. Not to mention the amazing wide spread representation with each and every character that was mentioned and featured within this wonderful story. Fin themself is a spectacular nonbinary, enby character, they are representation themself, but then when you add in Ollie, and the whole crew at Whipped - it just shows the prowess of Kat's writing, and her passion to highlight those sexualities, identities, and stories that don't often get highlighted. I'll be honest this book is going to hit you in your feels, it's going to make you laugh; make you roll your eyes in fond exasperation, and it'll most likely make you tear up a time or two... or you know, full on cry. But let me tell you, all of those intense feelings will be worth it to read the entirety of this book.

I'm a sucker for a good emotionally driven romance, alright? And while this one was HEAVY on the spice, it was also focused on the connection that formed between Ollie and Fin, as well as the emotional bonds that formed the longer they got to be in each other's orbit, which I loved. It was really amazing watching Fin find their equal... In the previous books, whenever Fin's character was mentioned, they were always referred to as the one who would never 'settle down', in fact, they themself were quite insistent on their 'No relationships' rule.... So to see their character grow and evolve alongside Ollie in this story was really beautiful. And I SO appreciate that their realization of them wanting a future with Ollie didn't happen right away, because if it did it wouldn't have been true to their journey and with who they were at that time. They needed that time to grow, to learn what they truly wanted deep down, and that ability to recognize that they had a family who they could share themself with and be safe enough to let their walls down. That was just so beautiful.

And let's not forget about Ollie, because who could, right? He absolutely stole the show! Fin's a brat in their own ways, but Ollie is a firecracker, sometimes an unpredictable one. I loved when his snarky brattiness side came out to play, especially those scenes where he gave it back just as fiercely as it was given to him. His character at times hurt my heart because of all he's been through emotionally, and how his brain is constantly fighting against him... But seeing him fully accept support from his family, (finally), and letting Fin in to see every single part of himself was really incredible.

I fully appreciate how this book talks about several heavy topic matters because you know what? That's life sometimes, there's really good moments, and there's also bad ones. And Kat did such a lovely job of depicting not only that message, but she showed how you can not only just get back up again, but you can thrive regardless of what you've been through. Fin and Ollie's journey's to get where they ended up was a long one, that left them with scars neither will be able to get rid of, but they ended up exactly where they needed to be, and ended up finding something that neither expected they would ever had. And that's the beauty of Kat's storytelling abilities.

It's safe to say I am very excited to read the next book in this series, I am so curious to see how that book is going to play out.

Filtration Play is the fourth book in Katherine McIntyre’s Leather and Lattes series. This series can be enjoyed as standalones, but I think it’s more fun to have all the characters’ unique backstories. Here’s what you can expect from Fin and Ollie:

🏍️ MX romance
🏍️ Third person dual point of view
🏍️ Guaranteed happily ever after
🏍️ Open door spice
🏍️ Hurt/comfort
🏍️ Kinky found family
🏍️ Group play
🏍️ Fisting, chastity cages, bondage, and edging
🏍️ Bratty, shorter nonbinary Dom
🏍️ Sweet boi bigger sub
🏍️ Kink discovery

Ensure you review the content and trigger warnings to decide if this book is right for you. Note this list of warnings may be incomplete. Please take care of yourself while reading.

Leather and Lattes is such a unique series, and I’m glad Katherine continues to write it! It features a unique café in San Francisco that caters to coffee and kink addicts alike, and the amazing found family there is the perfect backdrop for everyone’s happily ever afters. I appreciate that the author has been able to bring a different dynamic to every single story, so each character truly gets their chance to shine. I had a lot of fun reading Ollie and Fin’s story! I’ve been dying to get to know Fin better since we first meet them in Immersion Play and I had such a good time getting to know their character.

Ollie and Fin are both characters with damaged pasts, and they’re sharp edges and pain just melded together in a way that was everything they deserved and more. The author did an excellent job at balancing the hurt/comfort with the budding relationship and the kink exploration in this book. As always, I appreciated her safe and honest portrayal of kink, and my only hope is that everyone can find a place like Whipped where they belong. Of course, Ollie and Fin don’t get the easiest road to happily ever after but the pain they endure towards the end of the book only strengthens their relationship. Seeing Fin’s walls come down for Ollie was perfect, and I was just so thrilled that Ollie found a place where he could belong and truly be seen for himself. That’s all any of us really want! It’s always a pleasure reading Katherine’s work, and I’m looking forward to the next book in the series!

I was gifted my copy of this book.

This is book 4 in the Leather and Lattes series, but you can read it as a stand alone book. Reading the other books will give you the bigger picture of Whipped and the people who work/live/play there and their kinks and the relationships between them, but it's not necessary. HOWEVER! I loved them and I think you should, if only cos I said so!

Ollie is newly single, and a bit in the closet about his bi-sexaulity. He finds himself dragged by his brother to Whipped, and is smitten immediately by Fin, who gives him an offer he cannot refuse. There follows a wonderful story about two people finding their own place in the world, not in anyone's shadow or on anyone's coat tail.

I really enjoyed this, I can't quite love it and I hate that I cann't say why! (insert wailing!)

I liked that Fin and Ollie get a say. I loved the immediate and powerful connection between these two. It burns bright and hot from their very first meeting, and does not let up. It sets the page on fire at points and I lovevd that Fin was able to let themself go with Ollie and just BE, you know? They needed someone like Ollie in their life, their bed and most importantly, in their heart.

I loved that Ollie walks into that first playnight knowing full well what might happen, and it does, but with Fin at his side, he revels in the attention. Ollie loved that Fin and ONLY Fin would be taking him that night: Ollie know and Fin knew it and I think that's why they both enjoyed themselves so much.

The emotioanl connection comes fast and furious, but it's Fin who runs when things get tough. Having their business trashed by a bitter excuse of a woman was almost what broke their relationship with Ollie but it's Ollie who says the magic words to Fin and they make their way HOME, to Ollie.

What didn't work, I've no idea so I'm leaving it at that, but I will continue with this series, cos I love the whole set-up at Whipped and I *LOVE* the people in it!

4 very VERY good stars

I have really gotten into these books set in the world of Whipped, the kink cafe and dungeon. The main characters this time are Fin, a trans man, one who keeps to himself, doesn’t do relationships, never thinks of the word love since he isn’t loved by his family and considers himself unworthy of love; and Ollie, younger than Fin, but like him in a lot of ways, never feeling like he fits in, considers himself a burden on his brother and the family, has just been dumped by his boyfriend so is unlovable, a loner looking for a place to fit in. Both men have found the place to fit in, Whipped.

Ollie is new to the kink scene, a born submissive, and Fin sees the potential in him and slowly helps him enter the world of kink. The blurb lays out the path of the story very well as the two navigate the unexpected feelings and pull in their relationship, each finding someone that sees them as they really are and accepts them without question or concerns. Fin finds a family at Whipped, but also through Ollie, and Ollie finds a found family through his acceptance at Whipped.

Ollie is quickly drawn into the world of kink with Fin, finding something he never knew he needed in his submission and giving up control to Fin, and Fin finds the sub of his dreams in Ollie, finally a person that ticks all the boxes he would be looking for, if a partner is what he wanted. Both are able to fulfill a deep need in the other, and to give a sense of finding their person and a coming home.

Realistic and relatable characters, recurring characters from previous books, great world building with the supportive and accepting atmosphere at Whipped, and a found family rooted in their love of kink. Be sure to read the content warnings, as this is an explicit book with various elements of the world of BDSM as well as trauma through family. Characters ring true, as does the relationships that develop through the family at Whipped, both in the cafe and the dungeon. An interesting, and at times, informative read.
I received an advance copy of the book and this is my voluntary review.

This is the fourth book in the Leather and Lattes series and it can be enjoyed as a standalone read. This is the story of Ollie and Fin. Ollie is the baby brother of Julian (from the Dungeons and Dragons series). While relaxing with a coffee while his brother plays boardgames, Ollie meets Fin. An only child, Fin's homelife was toxic and abusive. To that end, he has no interest in a relationship. When Fin meets Ollie, sparks fly. Fin, a Dom, introduces Ollie to his world of kink. A natural submissive, Ollie enjoys dipping his toes in the kink pool. In spite of their respective baggage, the two don't want to stop seeing each other. Ollie is constantly afraid of being a bother or inconvenience. He is dealing with his problem of self harm. Not even his big brother knows about this. Fin finally disowns his family after a violent encounter with his dad. Luckily Ollie finds him and shows him how he already has a family at Whipped. A found family. And when a crisis hits, Fin sees how they all truly care for him and actually are a found family. This crisis triggers Ollie's old demons to re-emerge but this time, Ollie calls on his big brother for help. This is their story. I enjoyed this book. It is very written and easy to read. I received a complementary advanced review copy of this book from the author and I am voluntarily leaving a review. Fin and Ollie were perfect for each other. I liked watching their relationship grow. I also enjoyed revisiting the Whipped Crew. I look forward to the next book in this series.

I love the Leather and Lattes series. Each book is a stand alone but we get to see all the characters that make up the crew at Whipped, a kinky coffee cafe. Filtration Play features Fin, a nonbinary dom, and Ollie, a submissive man new to the kink scene. Ollie is a brother of Julian from the Dungeons and Dating series. Julian takes Ollie to board game night at Tabletop Tavern but board games aren’t really Ollie’s thing. While Ollie is chilling with his coffee at the Tavern he meets the enigmatic and snarky Fin. Ollie agrees to a date with Fin and soon discovers his kinky submissive side.

I enjoyed the dynamics between these flawed characters and how they became more to each other than they were expecting or wanting. Fin grew up in a toxic family where they were the only child. Their early example of a relationship between their parents was abusive, so they always hesitated to become more than sexually involved with someone. They were known for being a fun dom but not the relationship type. Fin has an incredible found family in the crew at Whipped, the cafe they work at.

Ollie grew up the baby in a family of five siblings but his mother passed when he was young so he mostly remembers being raised by a single dad and his older brother Julian. Ollie has a great and supportive family but he’s always felt like the odd one out and like he was a burden. He’s struggled with self harm in the past and the desire to self harm is still something he struggles with.

I loved these two characters and watching their relationship blossom into something serious. There was a little drama but honestly this felt like a low angst read to me despite some of the serious topics. The serious topics were handled with the perfect amount of finesse and not glamorized. The spicy scenes were hot hot hot and extremely well done, something I’ve come to expect from Katherine McIntyre’s writing. I always enjoy revisiting the Whipped crew and consider the Leather and Lattes series a must read. I look forward to reading Nolan’s book next.

The Leather & Lattes series just keep getting better and better, and I don't know how that's possible. Ollie and Fin's story might just be my favorite yet. From the very beginning, you're drawn into this wonderful world of found family and kink, and it's tough to not get swept away.

Ollie's vulnerability and Fin's sharp edges collide in a breathtaking way, and the romance the author has created for them is raw and messy and deeply, deeply moving. Their chemistry is electric but it's the emotional connection and the way they challenge each other - the way they see each other - that made it hard to put this book down to deal with real world responsibilities.

The writing is bold and beautiful, and I wish Whipped was a real place. I would love a place so inviting and so welcoming to be part of. Watching Fin break their own rules and Ollie discover his strength was lovely to watch. The author has this way of blending kink and intimacy and emotional growth in a such a perfect way, and it never feels over the top or fake in anyway.

This is one of my favorite series and this installment proves why. I can't wait to see what comes next!

Filtration Play - Katherine McIntyre
5/5✨🌟

* SPOILERS *

First off, I loved Finn and Ollie so freaking much! I loved how they evened out one another. Both of them have definitely been through it. I loved how Ollie and Finn were able to discover the people they were. I also loved how Ollie finally felt at ease and felt loved.

Ugh, the spice was so hot and made me so eager what spice was next. When Finn brought Ollie to Play Night, I knew their dynamic was changing only for the better. And man, that scene was everything and it was something that Ollie more than he even realized.

I about cried when Ollie’s dad hugged Finn because he wasn’t used to such love. I just absolutely love the found family in the book from the monk and coffee club and to Ollie’s family. Finn’s family can kick rocks because they deserve all the love anyone can give them.

There is a little bit of angst but it made you want more of the story. I cannot wait for these next installment for the next couple.

I received a copy of this book and this is my honest review.

Filtration Play - Ollie & Fin

‘He lost himself in the velvet feel of their mouth, the sting of their teeth. How their breaths mingled together, how this kiss wasn’t any tame or quiet thing. It was a benediction, a silent prayer offered to whatever existed beyond them. As if he could stay here longer. As if he could be worthy of someone as raw and wild as this, who seemed to understand him better than people he’d known his entire life.‘

OMG! I love each story that is birthed by Katherine McIntyre, but this one is exquisite in its deep sense of longing and need.

Watching relationships develop, especially in her Leather & Lattes series, we have come to embrace each character and their specialness. We knew Fin was a uniquely human character, one where their past and present clashed on such a monumental scale, that their heart would need to connect with a very special soul.

Ohhhh, Ollie! The right puzzle piece to complete not only Fin’s puzzle, but his own.

This is one of the best books, from Kat, that I have truly had the joy of reading.

"Fin had a way of making him feel claimed that he’d never experienced but sorely loved." - Ollie

"Ollie made them feel less broken, and damn, they never thought that was a possibility." - Fin

Both Ollie and Fin have a hard time with expressing their emotions and being vulnerable; they understand each other on a deeper level, which is why they are such a great match. Ollie is very new to trying kinky things, and Fin is the perfect person to try new things with. They are both sassy, and they have the same humor. Fin is closed off, but they slowly let Ollie in. Fin isn't used to all the love and care that Ollie gives them; the only family that Fin has is the people from Whipped.

Ollie thinks that he's not good enough, but even when he thinks that, he still tries and opens up to Fin. Ollie is a diabetic, and Fin always checks in to see if he is okay. While they are doing spicy things, Fin also breaks their own rules by bringing Ollie to their place. They understand when the other has a hard time and can be there for each other like nobody else can. They both grew so much by simply being together and learning from each other. They both finally has someone that fully sees them and gladly stays by their sides. They are loved! The found family is so sweet and loyal; they are safe people that also aren't afraid to have difficult conversations while always making sure to stay within someone's boundaries. This is such a fun & heartwarming series!

A Joyfully Jay review.

3.75 stars

This is the fourth book in Katherine McIntrye’s Leather and Lattes series, following a found family that works at Whipped. It’s also a crossover from the author’s Dungeons and Dating series, as Ollie first made an appearance over there and is Julian’s brother. I haven’t read that series and didn’t feel like I was missing anything. I do, however, suggest that this book works best in conjunction with the rest of the Leather and Lattes series. While all the information you need is present in the book, it does work better having read the series.

The two MCs work really well together. The chemistry is there from the start and it’s easy to see their connection. The employees at Whipped continue to delight and I love the connection they all have with one another.

I really enjoyed being back in the Leather and Latte’s world. Ollie and Fin were made for each other but it took Fin a little while to admit that. Both of them have broken parts but together they can face those parts and heal.

Ollie is new to kink but it doesn’t take him long to realize that he wants to try so many things with Fin. He discovers things about himself that he never admitted to before and Fin is the perfect Dom to teach him. Fin’s background wasn’t easy to read about but neither was Ollie’s and I was finally brought to tears in chapter twenty-three. I love it when a story affects me so deeply.

Coincidentally, I read most of this book while I was at a book con that celebrated all kind of kink. While participating isn’t my thing, I do like reading books with kink and in Filtration Play Ollie explores many different types.

I was happy to learn that this wasn’t the last book in this series.

Being back at Whipped was great, and I love this kinky found family!

A prickly Dom who doesn't do commitments falling for a baby sub? Yes please! I love prickly characters, and Fin was definitely an expert at keeping people at a distance. They couldn't help but break their rules for Ollie though, and I loved seeing them together. It started out with simple scenes combined with photoshoots, but with all the chemistry they had, it didn't take long until they both started catching feelings and became a little possessive of each other.

I really enjoyed their dynamic, and they fit together really well. There was a lot of steam in this one, and Fin's dirty talk was definitely top tier. I loved their scenes and how they made sure to take care of Ollie and his drops. It was also refreshing to see a sub with diabetes and how it might affect scenes and aftercare.

Filtration Play was a steamy and enjoyable read, with a few emotional moments and a bit of drama sprinkled in. The mental health rep was heavy at times, but was overall focused on healing and support. There's always a strong sense of found family in this series, and I can't wait to go back to Whipped for the next story!

I thoroughly enjoyed this read.
Firstly let me say I got this book from gay romance reviews and this is me leaving my honest review.
Wow what a book I couldn’t put it down. I’ve got to say this is a fourth book in the series of leather and lattes. It is a standalone but I’m glad I’ve read the books in order so far.
I’ve got to say Finn and Ollie are just perfection together. Ollie had recently moved back home after a break up and his brother Julian had taken him to café where they play games, board games. And this is where he meets Finn who is a transsexual goes by the pronouns them/they. Finn has just started taking pictures of people who are into the BDSM kinks. And as soon as they meets Oliver, this attraction begins and this book is the journey that they both go on. Both have trauma from their past and this is the story how they cope with that and cope with the feelings of one another. Because let me tell you these two are hot the passion is off the chart the chemistry is on point just amazing and my heart oh gosh in some places it is just too sweet.

Ollie and Fin on a difficult path to a relationship

I love this series and I love brats so this book by Katherine McIntyre was right up my alley as far as reading goes. This book deals with some very serious topics, but there is plenty of kink to offset it and all of the snark from both Ollie and Fin definitely lightens the tone. Balancing things out like this is one of the things that McIntyre does exceptionally well as she likes to bring serious topics into her stories and yet the stories never feel too heavy because of the way she writes. On that note it is important to check the warnings if you do have any triggers.
Of course we also have characters from previous (and hopefully future) books involved in this book. I like that they are not just little cameos and that these are a whole bunch of people that form a community that support each other as well as play or work together. For me this community is one of the best things about this series. May it long continue.

This is a story about Ollie, an aimless "problem child" seeking connection, and Fin, a non-committal person with a traumatic past, whose casual encounter evolves into a deep, emotional bond threatened by Fin's past. After a breakup, Ollie meets Fin and is introduced to the world of kink at the unique cafe, Whipped. Fin, who avoids relationships due to a difficult childhood, is captivated by Ollie, seeing him as a perfect submissive. They begin to break Fin's own rules, moving from hookups to spending real time together, particularly as Ollie models for Fin's photography show. Just as their intense connection leads them to consider a future, Fin's past resurfaces, threatening to shatter their nascent relationship.

I loved this story with the two men who were damaged in their own way but found a way to make everything work between each other. I loved that Fin was finding himself breaking his selfimposed rules. Lots of emotions and feelings for both of them. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like D/s dynamic.

Great story, wonderfully written!

Fin and Ollie meet at Tabletop Tavern where Ollie’s oldest brother works. Fin likes the looks of Ollie and is flirty, they invite Ollie to take a ride on their Ducati. Ollie accepts and it’s the start of their journey.

Both think they aren’t lovable, and both feel they are broken. Fin comes from an abusive home, finally on their own, and Ollie is the trouble kid, the youngest, always the kid.
Fin is a kinky Dom, works at Whipped, their found family, and Ollie just discovered he’s quite the sub and loves the Whipped environment and the people, (especially Fin)

Fin doesn’t do relationships, but can’t seem to stay away from Ollie. Ollie knows not to expect anything from Fin, but a guy can hope!

The author takes us on a ride, h0t and s3xy, but we also get to know Fin and Ollie on a much deeper level. I love that in a read!
It wasn’t easy but they made it!
This story is so worth reading!

Such a great storyline - two matching souls finding each other.

This is sweet and tender, mixed with some fun spice and exploration.

Ollie’s such a sweet guy, but as the youngest of five with a single dad, he’s often felt unseen. Despite knowing he is loved, and loves him daily in return. Meeting Finley and the crew at Whipped changes everything for him.

Finley is a lost soul. They keep themselves guarded, even from his Whipped family. Never truly believing people will have their back and stick around. But at every turn, Ollie soothes that fear.

It’s a bit of an emotional roller coaster for them both, but it was a beautiful journey.

Filtration Play gave me all the feels. Fin finally meets their perfect match in Ollie, Julian’s brother, new to the kink scene and still figuring out his identity. Their bratty Dom/snarky sub energy was explosive, messy, and so much fun to watch unfold.

This book balances kink, angst, and found family so well. I loved how Ollie’s struggles were handled with honesty and care, especially his mental health journey...it added so much depth without ever feeling heavy-handed. Fin’s growth was beautiful too, seeing them move from “no relationships ever” to realising they could have a future with someone who truly got them.

Ollie, though… he stole the show. Fierce, funny, and heartbreakingly real, I adored his snark just as much as his vulnerable moments.

Overall, this was another fantastic addition to the Leather and Lattes series...spicy, emotional, and full of that found family warmth that makes the whole world feel alive. I can’t wait to see what comes next.
