Well written story with plenty of action. Will keep you turning the pages until the end. Expecting this to be a great series.

Eradicate had a really interesting storyline that kept me wanting to know more. The main character, Quinn, is sent to hunt down a child abduction cult. He must face his past and his father.
I also liked that there was a hint of romance.
Despite that though, I did not think the quality of writing was quite what I expected. It was jarring and kept me from being able to fully immerse in the story.
Just to name a couple of things that stood out to me, The main characters name was mentioned WAY too much in every chapter that was from his perspective. At one point I stopped and counted how many times on just one page and it was over 12 times!
There was also a lot of repeating of things more than what was necessary, it felt like I was being told what everything was or what was happening all the time, instead of being guided through the story. It was definitely written in a “tell” and not a “show” way.
The third thing that stood out the most to me was the over explanation of weapons or fighting styles throughout. Again, it felt less like a story and honestly more like a screenplay or script.
I was interested in the story and thought it had a lot of potential!

I loved how this book made me feel every punch, every choice, and every shadow of Quinn’s past—it’s action with a conscience, and I couldn’t put it down.

Kyle Quinn is out here kicking down doors, dodging bullets, and facing off with the kind of family drama that makes your Thanksgiving dinner look like a picnic. It’s gritty, fast, and totally addictive—like Jason Bourne went full dark ops in the Louisiana swamps. I was glued to the pages, cheering, gasping, and maybe yelling “Get him, Quinn!” once or twice. If you love action, attitude, and a hero with a haunted past, this one’s your new obsession. 💥📖

Not for me. Quinn felt like a blank page. Sure, I'm told he hates his father but I never felt it. He mows down the bad guys and...yawn. I didn't really care. In fact, Kardinal has something to lose so he's more of an interesting character at this point.
Recommended for fans of thrillers who don't mind a bland hero. Just be prepared to suspend a lot of disbelief when it comes to the child-murdering cult.

Excellent start to this series. It approaches a contemporary issue that is happening right now and applies action and retaliation through its characters and plots. It will keep you interested until the very last page.

An exciting story about a hit man who is hired to go after a group that has been taking children for years. He also has a chance to go after his father, who has been after him for many years. An exciting story with excellent characters.
