Nature Therapy is a collection of poetry based on the most inspiring passages from Scott Stillman’s works.
A blend of raw beauty and heartbreaking vulnerability, Stillman's poetry is a profound exploration of what it means to feel deeply. Each verse guides us toward a deeper understanding of our place in the universe, and the healing potential that nature offers the weary soul.
"we are born with playfulness— and play we will until we’re taught that life is serious there are very important things to be done and we must focus not on the present but on the future
happiness is stolen from us and projected to an imaginary place that we can never reach
we become lost in the illusion that happiness resides in the future
Generic, boring, holier-than-thou repetitive “poetry”. How much do you REALLY care about nature if you’re wasting so much paper publishing your stupid book in the most wasteful formatting.
dnf but bryce gave me this so i gave it a shot out of love for my friend. but damn. repetitive and quite frankly unoriginal, felt like this book was yelling at me the whole time to be …..? off my phone? i don’t know but it didn’t make me feel good or even bad in a good way, just straight up felt bored!!! also reading the author profile made me laugh a little because this totally seems like it was pumped out in a couple of weeks just to…. make money to live? good for them but i fucking hated it
not what i thought it would be…. and very political. writing is gorgeous and the style is informative, but I guess I am just not the audience for this book. if you like poetry with a punch and to make a political statement, this book is for you.
