Ex boyfriend to new boss
Leo always competed with Cassie in college. He always called her second best. He beat her at everything they took. She was smart but needy looking. He went out with her, but when he broke up with her, he told her it was because of a bet. She was broken hearted.
Three years later, she interviewed for a new job. At the interview, she saw Leo and froze.
She didn't know that he was the Ceo and owner of Soundease.
He hired her. But he enjoyed tormenting her every chance he got. He still cared for her. He realized that he still had feelings, but how was he going to get her to forgive him.
He makes a dinner date with her and is looking forward to seeing her. But a secretive call confirms that he is going to meet with the person who has been threatening him. He never got a chance to call her. She thinks he stood her up to be mean.
Everything in his personal life is upside down. What he thought was the truth are all lies. His parents lied, and his heart was broken.
Cassie doesn't know how to forgive him. But he shows up at her doorstep several days later, and he collapsed on her floor. He tells the whole heartbreaking story of all the lies that his parents kept from him. But he does tell Cassie that he loves her. And apologies for all the hurt he caused her.
There were many mistakes in the grammar. Sometimes, you don't know if Cassie or Leo was thinking or talking. Words were misspelled. Whoever did the proofreading missed a lot.

Daisy Grace has written a 5-star book. This is the story of Cassie and Leo. Cassie and Leo had been a couple until she found out that he was only with her because of a bet with his friends. Things happened that he did not know how to handle so he withdrawals from everyone. Now three years later, Cassie has a job interview with SoundEase. When she gets to the interview, she is shocked to see Leo sitting at the interview table. She hates him for the way he treated her. Leo wants to talk to her but she has nothing to say to him and tells him so. She walks away from the interview. She calls her friend Lisa and tells her what just happened. Lisa tells her that she needs to walk away from Leo. Cassie doesn't think that she will get the job but she gets an email telling her that she did have the job and she is to start the following Monday. She goes in on Monday but after she gets settled, Leo has her called into his office. This goes on for a while until Cassie gets tired of him and his games.

This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

Love reading Daisy Grace’s books, can’t wait for the next one.
Cassie Evans and Leo Woodrow dated in college and he always told her she was second-best. Leo tells her he dated her based on a bet with his friends, he then disappeared.
Cassie is in financial trouble, her friend Lisa got her a job interview at Sound Ease. Cassie is called in for her interview and who does she see “Leo” thinks he is on the panel. She tells them she made a wrong turn looking for the restroom.
Cassie receives an email that she is hired. Her desk is next to a window – did Leo remember? I love that he keeps calling her to his office, she doesn’t want to play his game, just do her job.
Leo asks Cassie for a date and she agrees, he never shows up. At work she ask his assistant if he knows where he is. He’s been missing since Saturday.
Leo gets these weird text messages and phone calls. Leo finds out the truth about his family.
Leo shows up at Cassie’s drunk and he tells her everything about his accident three years ago and what happened with his family.
They decide to give it a second chance.

This book was very hard to follow at times but overall, it was good. This is a story of how drinking and driving can change your life. How the things you remember may not be what actually happened but what you have been told. How the story changes when the truth is known. Could this happen to you?

I am reviewing the audio version
I loved the story line of this book. There is some suspense and mystery. The characters are decently written. Leo got on my nerves a bit, and Cassie had her issues as well, but her heart and brain were warring with each other, so she has a pass. However, I'm going to have to read the book myself because the audio was awful. It sounded like the narrator was using a cassette tape recorder from the 1980s (yes, I know what those sound like because I still have one). All in all, I loved the story but did not like the narration.
As always be mindful of trigger warnings, what I like you may not.

A very emotional story that has an intriguing storyline full of heart and pain. Cassie and Leo use to to date in high school and now years later the pain from the past still haunts them and something they have carried around with them for a long time. The twists and turns the story takes was unexpected and keeps you wondering if second chances are in the cards for these two. Although I did enjoy the storyline at times the flow of words and paragraphs was hard to follow, otherwise it was a pretty good read.

I loved this book. This book held my interest from beginning to end. The story is well-written and the character development is great. I loved each character, even if they weren’t perfect. I loved that the story is both romantic and suspenseful, making it a page-turner. I finished this book in one sitting. There were a few unexpected plot twists, which was a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend this book.

Well the idea based on title...lost... ?
Needs to be edited!
The errors in narration, whom (character) was speaking or thinking,
and the tenses, made the storyline difficult.
Then, the areas that simply did not make sense...if, Nemmy talking to Leo as if lovers in college ,,,?
Characters need far more development, we very one dimensional, secondary characters were even worse.
Idea of story could be very good with real work.

Off-Limits Bad Boy Protector is an OTT, frenemies-to-lovers, second-chance romantic suspense. I wanted to love this book, but it needs some serious editing first. The story was hard to follow as POV and tense kept changing, making it very confusing and difficult to keep things straight. The couple got their second chance, and it ended on a happy note, but there were gaps that made it confusing to follow.

I loved Cassie and Leo's story. Cassie thought that love story was over after 3 years, but fate had other plans for her and Leo. Come along on a fantastic ride with these two and see if they will have a happily ever after. This is a page-turner. It has wonderful characters and just the right amount of steam. I highly recommend this book.

I enjoyed reading this book. Once I started reading Off Limits Bad Boy Protector I didn't want to put it down. The characters are great and the storyline hooked me from the start. I don't want to spoil this book for anyone so I won't give details. Please read the book blurb for some information. I recommend reading this book. I hope you enjoy it!.

Quickly gave up on this one which I started listening to with my wife. Unfortunately the narration was really off-putting as it sounds like either the narrator had mic issues or had his head in a bucket. Loads of echo and distortion. Neither of us were invested in the story but it was the narration that killed it for us.
Having listened to samples of others in the series with this narrator we will be giving the rest of these books a wide berth.

This is a well written second chance romance with strong characters in Cassie and Leo. The author does a great job developing the story and painting her scenes perfectly. She pulled me in with all the emotions and kept me glued to the pages from start to finish. Loved reading their story!

This book had a fun storyline and you can definitely see the connection between Cassie and Leo throughout the book. I did find the characters a little tricky to follow at times but overall it was quite the fun book to read as I relaxed this weekend.

This book seems to have been written by AI. The POV flies from 1st to 3rd person from 1 chapter to the next, even in the same paragraph. Even the characters change, sometimes mid-paragraph, and the speech is awkward, with I interspersed in it at odd times. I tried to keep reading, but I just couldn't do it.

I gave up on this one.
The story and narrator need work.
I won't look at this author's work again for a long while, to be fair to them. In time their skills may improve to allow me to actually understand plots and characters and the narrator may develop the skills needed, but for now I cant do this.

This book is dripping and oozing some of the best romance ever between the characters. I thought that Daisy has written a really good book that will lift your mood and make your heartbeat fast due to the suspense and intense moments.
