I enjoy learning more about the entertainment industry in Great Britain and in this case it was a happy surprise to find a well-known actress has stayed married to her former footballer husband for more than 35 years and has two boys as well. I had heard the name Leslie Ash but knew nothing about her. Now I do.

I found this biography quite interesting. I only knew of Leslie Ash being an actress on Men Behaving Badly and more recently Holby City. This followed her early career at the Italia Conti stage school into her early jobs, marriage to a footballer, tv and film work, modelling and voiceovers and her tragic accident causing her to catch MSSA in hospital which she will never fully recover from. It has caused her to have no perception of her foot placement- so she will fall trying to walk in the dark. I knew that she still had to use a stick to walk - but didn't really realise that it had caused such severe problem for her.

It was a purchase from Poundland- I get most of my biographies there.

Fantastic read could not put it down

I have loved men behaving badly for so long. So I purchased this on a whim. And I loved every bit of it. I had not heard of her injury so I was shocked and saddened what she had to go thru. But amazed at her recovery and healing a very strong a brave woman

I really enjoyed reading this book as I had read so many different versions of events that it was good to hear it from the horses mouth. It gave me a huge amount of respect for Lesley Ash!
