Done with this series
The first book was great and the second ok but this was so stupid I can't go on. How many times will people let him live when they have him dead to rights. And the ultimate villain plot was idiotic.

Total crap. The first two books in this series were great. This book took a dive off the deep end. I’m done with the series.

Ok, I really loved the first 2 books in this series. This book was not good. It felt like Blake Banner lost the plot with this book. The protagonist has been trying to figure out who he is and the details of his life, (and kicking all kinds of ass along the way). To dealing with white supremacists, a town full of a members of a religious cult (white supremacists meet polygamist pedophiles), to the elite class (said supremacists pedophiles) starting a settlement on Mars because the Earth is dying and finally to clones. To add insult to injury...a cliffhanger.
I believe I got whiplash trying to keep up with all the twists and turns that occurred in the last 40% of the book. I am normally excited to read other books by this author, but this was just a whole lot of hell no. I don't believe I will be reading book 4.

Talk about jump the shark. I enjoyed the first two books in this series but this one was ridiculous.

The frozen wilderness in Ice Burn becomes just as dangerous as the enemies hunting Rogue, and Blake Banner and David Archer absolutely crank the suspense to another level in this installment. When Rogue is pulled into a deadly situation involving a missing Russian scientist, secret weapons research, and a brutal race against time in the Arctic, the tension never lets up for a second. The icy setting made everything feel even more claustrophobic and dangerous, especially once Rogue realizes he’s being hunted from multiple sides and can trust almost nobody around him.
One of the things I loved most about this book was how unpredictable it stayed. Just when it looked like Rogue had figured out who was manipulating the mission, another twist hit and completely changed the stakes. The scenes involving the hidden research facility and the escalating cat-and-mouse game across the frozen terrain were fantastic. You could practically feel the cold, isolation, and desperation coming off the pages.
Rogue continues to be such a great lead character because he’s relentless, resourceful, and never feels invincible. He takes punishment, makes mistakes, and survives through grit and instinct more than luck. That makes the danger feel real. The action sequences were sharp, fast, and cinematic, but the suspense is what really carried this book for me.
This is another outstanding entry in the Rogue series and an easy five-star read. Entertaining, intense, and loaded with twists that kept me guessing all the way to the end.

Reading a chess game
Reading "Ice Burn" is like watching a 5D chess game, though I was reading it instead. All the moves and counter moves, game of wits between Rogue and Kristos. It appears Kristos was checkmated. Now I have to wait a year for "Judgment of Fire." Thanks for that Blake and David. NOT!!!

Another page-turning book
It took me only 3 days to finish this book. That should tell you how much awesome this book is. Rogue was still wandering around trying to find his identity. He met Kristos who talked and sounded like a cult leader and things got heated from there. I can’t spoil the book. You will have to read it to find out for yourself!

Ok, I have to say this one had me hooked! The writers have done an amazing job building this amnesia patient who cannot find his past. The only complaint I have is that there aren’t more books to read!

I would recommend the 1st book. Really got into the character. This last book was definitely odd, and totally off the wall that I honestly wanted to skip through.
