This book reads like someone’s dissertation. Half of the book was resources. It was a good breakdown of each of Taylor Swifts eras and their importance. However, the authors use of “Tay-Tay” and “T-Swizzle” really took from the book. I tried to brush past them.

Taylor Swift: stories, Anecdotes, and Inspiration From Across The Eras by Clara Debeyer
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Nonfiction

I'm a swiftie and I have a little collection of Taylor books and I'm not gonna lie, the cover made me do it.

The writing is so over the top flowery. It's like she is trying to write as beautifully as Taylor does but fails miserably.

I really enjoyed this. Short and sweet and fun! It did bother me when it kept referring to her pop roots. Her roots were country.

This book is really only 119 pages. There are a ton of references.

I am a fan of Taylor Swift, but not virtual voice
I steered clear of virtual voice after a first try a while back. However, because this is focused on Taylor Swift, I gave this a chance. I didn’t get far at all. The virtual voice is extremely stilted and monotone. Boring. Why, oh why, are they using virtual voice? Never again. I remain true to my favorite narrators and there are many; after 10 years with Audible, I’ve accumulated a vast library of audiobooks.

Out of the 251 pages, only 119 are the actual book. The last 132 pages are references!!
I was excited for this book but the amount of times Taylor is referenced as T-Swizzle and Tay Tay really got to me. Plus the repeating paragraphs and mis-information made me give it 2 stars. Also, the random facts just thrown in wherever.

2026 Alphabet Challenge T- I had fun reading this book but nothing in it was especially new. I had fun because as I read about an era, I listened to the album. Half the book is references so it was really fast to read.

Love Taylor Swift, and while I appreciate another Swifties love of Taylor Swift, I didn't love this, found it "super cringe" as my eldest would say.
