And now I’m being pushed into this fake relationship with a Beta I saved a few months ago from a freak accident. I always thought I’d be settling down with a cute little Omega but this Beta, a mixture of muscles and smiles, is growing me. Dare I say, he might even be adorable. This was a sweet m/m romance between Rockstar Alpha Kellen, and Beta Micah. When Micah has an accident and is saved by Kellen, it triggers their mate bond unexpectedly. With polar opposite lifestyles the pair don't expect to reunite again, until Micah is tricked into fake dating Kellen to improve his bad boy rockstar image. As the two grow closer they just want to explore their true connection in peace, but are forced to follow contracted dates, media narratives, and to fake it all. They have to navigate the public focus on their relationship, the pressures of the band, and the manipulation of the scripted PR agenda. It's a sweet contemporary omegaverse romance, about fighting for unexpected love.
"This is what I want. This feeling, this connection, this simplicity"
"Tomorrow, well tackle the hard stuff. Today, I just want to be with you"

I’ve never been a huge fan of rock and roll or band books, but Nic changed my mind with this one. I loved the alpha/beta pairing. I also just adore all of the betaverse books because the different pairings without the omegas
Really enjoyed this book. I loved how sweet they were with each other. And even through the drama they continued to chose each other. I’m glad Kellen found his person. Cause everyone in his life pretty much sucked. I loved how these two took care off each other. The writing was great the spice was yum and hopefully Jamie will find his person.
Things to know
Dual pov No cheating or sharing No om/ow No mpreg Strict Relation before Could use diversity
I really enjoyed this book. It was different and just what I needed to read. I loved the band vibes and the characters. N slater did a good job with this one!
I really liked the MMCs and the way they fit together even though at the beginning bf they weren’t sure. I like how they come together and realize their feelings for each other.
Overall, this was a good book and one I needed from all the dark books I’ve read lately. Highly recommend! It was a good one.
I have loved this whole series but there is something about this relationship that made me so freaking happy!! This started very traumatizing for both of characters but it turned into such a wholesome and sweet relationship. I really really loved these characters!
Fake dating with a twist. I loved this different approach to the fake-dating trope, where both parties actually wants to be boyfriends and are open about is, but the circumstances are against them.
I truly enjoyed this book, read it in under 2 days. It didn't have a lot of twists, but was so heartfelt and almost had me crying at times.
Micah and Kellan are both very well-written and have a wonderful connection. The angry bit loving alpha and giant but sweet beta works wonders.
The Beta Accepted verse is so easy to fall in love with, and the underlying mystery is so intriguing, I can't wait to learn more!
Wow loved the drama and the unexpected. This is an Alpha and Beta pairing and omg I loved it. Never read one without an omega but I ain’t complaining. The accident Micha got into left me speechless. But I’m glad that Micha and Kellan found each other. If you want something different this is your book.
This was one of my very first MM beta verse reads, and I was not disappointed in the slightest. It was such a good, cute, and surprisingly addictive story, and it completely solidified why I love N. Slater’s writing so much. Her style is easy to fall into, emotionally engaging, and perfectly balanced between sweetness and heat.
Kellen absolutely stole my heart. I loved his personality—his warmth, his patience, and especially how deeply he wanted to help and protect Micah. His care never felt overbearing; it felt genuine and rooted in love, which made their connection even more special. The way he shows up for Micah again and again was everything.
Micah’s journey paired so beautifully with Kellen’s energy, and their dynamic together was the perfect mix of soft, emotional, and 🔥. They had great chemistry, but they also had moments that were tender, comforting, and quietly powerful. Watching their relationship grow felt natural and satisfying, and I loved how their bond developed alongside the beta verse elements.
Overall, this was such an enjoyable read—sweet, spicy, and full of heart. If you’re new to MM beta verse like I was, this is a great place to start, and if you’re already a fan of the genre, this one is definitely worth picking up.
Micah is just trying to do his job when 2 alphas come by and start trouble which ends badly and Micah finds himslef falling off a latter and into the arms of Kellan, the lead drummer of Lunar Ransom. Both are a little confused as to why they can't get each other off their minds and when the PR team for the band decides that he needs a fake boyfriend Micah just happens to be the one who wins. Micah and Kellan are sweet together, lots of band drama, mean alpha drama and family sticking together when it matters.
I love how this author writes, blending angst and darkness with love, romance, and mystery. Micah was such a relatable character. How he viewed the world, his anxiety, and panic attacks after all he went through felt real and tugged at my heartstrings. Kellan drew me in with his bad-boy image, and when I saw him interact with Micah and show his soft side, it made me melt.
Another fantastic read from this author; I look forward to reading more.
Rockstar x construction worker, hurt/comfort, fake dating to lovers, fast paced, short, alpha x beta, non-shifter omegaverse, no mpreg, alpha rut, no 3rd-act breakup
The relationship was sweet but the plot was very angsty. I was secure in Kellan and Micah's chemistry and knew they would be ok no matter what Kellan's label and horrible manager made them do. I'm glad they were able to get away from that toxicity in the end.
Loved Micah's best friend, Jamie. Wished the book was longer so we had a bit more scenes with him, and also with Kellan and Micah as a couple. Kinda wished all the people that failed Micah (the police and the perpetrators) and took advantage of Kellan (Tom and the label) had a more karmic ending. Otherwise, this was very sweet and the smut scenes were very hot.
I loved this book. I loved how sweet and cute they were with each other and how real it was even if it was “fake”. They kept everything real when the manager wanted it fake and to end to promote the band.

Omg this book was thrilling engaging right from the start I really enjoyed reading about these wonderful characters and the love that is shown in this book is beautiful .
I absolutely love the beta-verse series. I feel like it's so underrepresented in the entirety of the omegaverse sub genre of books. It's always everybody's an alpha or everybody's an Omega or oh you thought they were a beta and then they ended up being an Omega. So now everybody loves them and I just love how the series is like. No, they're a beta and they're always a beta, but they can still be just as loved and important as an alpha or an Omega. This book had a really fun premise and I don't know what it is about Show Business books for me but they just irk me because it's so slimy. I guess with how it's all about the image and manipulation to get the most likes and how it completely washes down the authenticity of artists work. The spice wasn't crazy high, but the story was very good and it's worth a read.
