I liked the first book wayyy better. I honestly was ready for this one to be over. I felt things happened quickly. Like she was trying to tell herself to get over him in one weekend. I always did have a soft spot for her and wes but i’ll always be team Noah. I think her and wes getting together wasn’t necessary. They could’ve dating without being girlfriend and boyfriend. I feel the whole book was her trying to get over noah but she still got together with wes and the timeframe was so short. I thought this book was okay. I honestly was kinda bored reading it. The first one was so much more interesting but i will read the last one to see how it ends!

um what was this book, it was so messed up and I HATE HOW NOTHHING HAS HAPPENED AND I KNOW WES IS GONNA BE HURT IN THE END UGH. i dont understand and i hate the fmc shes so weird like she thinks 17 yr olds shouldnt be doing anything beyond kissing and is litterally a prude and a hoe like wth. wes and her relationship was so randomly based like she wasnt even over noah however the only star here is because of noah's epilouge THANK GOD

so so so good, the ending had me so shocked!
first of all isobel and wes i love them together and like them more than isobel and noah which is shocking to me!!

when i first read this in december i couldn’t stop thinking about this book it was all i had my mind on, i’d constantly check when it was coming out and counting the days, when i saw it turned 12am i ran to my kindle and wasted no time in reading it all.

anna and cress i love them, same as sawyer and wes i made a whole pinterest board of them while reading as i was just so mesmerised. and i read some other books of Alexandra moody and she does not disappoint she might be one of my fav authors she responded to one of my comments once and i danced around in my room, i love this book so much honestly i’ve already recommended it to all my friends

I love Wes and Isobel, but I have a feeling that at the and of the third book Noah and Isobel are going to be together so please don’t make Wes and Isobel hate each other. Please leave them to be friends.

Team Wes over here!🙋🏻‍♀️

First, I want to say I called what happened in the epilogue. But even though it wasn’t a total shock, I was actually glad I had seen the signs beforehand. However, much of Noah’s actions don’t line up with what the epilogue insinuates. So I’d really like a timeline of when things took a turn to see if they match up with how things went in the storyline. Also, I don’t think it’s wise to have kept Isobel in the dark about it. Not by a long shot. In fact, the deceit and trickery makes me not want to trust either of them.

Secondly, I really like Wes. I know this whole series has been touted as being about Isobel & Noah, but really, I was tired of the toxicity and angst of those two even back in book 1. The entire book was about them FINALLY getting together and they share one ‘date,’ which I admit was sweet, but then he’s all ‘you’re the enemy and I don’t want you, you liar!’ And I was just OVER it. Thank goodness for Wes or this book would have been boring.

Thirdly, I love the found family/friendships and camaraderie in this. Like…LOVE it!! It melted me. I had tears several times over it. Along with when Matthew allowed himself to be a bit vulnerable with Isobel and showed how he really wanted to be in her life.

Lastly, I legit laughed out loud at sooo many witty jokes and repartes and scenarios. They weren’t dumb humor, but rather very clever play on word scenarios or just banter that was so delightful. So much so, that I plan to check out this author’s other books in hopes they are much the same.

That said, I’m not happy I have to wait 3.5 months for the next book to come out. I originally planned to wait until it was out to start it, but nothing in my TBR pile appealed so I said ‘why not?’ BUT did I mention I’m Team Wes? CLEARLY we know where the next book is heading and it’s going to get messy and ugly and there are going to be more broken hearts. And I’m just not looking forward to that.

I was team Wes, I was screaming team Wes, I absolutely hated Noah… but then Wes said “Date me”
I immediately said yes but than I thought about it and was like “no” and then at the Halloween Carnival my heart felt a little tug after Noah got dunked. Also I feel like Isobel dated Wes for the wrong reasons. She said a kiss with him felt right, but she used to say a kiss with Noah felt magical, she lasted a full two minutes with Wes, but with Noah like two sentences. I am, was team Noah until the epilogue now I’m team Isobel honestly

Look it was predictable but I still enjoyed it, but honestly, this whole thing is just being dragged on. Like am I going to read the next book, yes, but honestly, I don't feel like I will enjoy it. I hate when books use nice, sweet guys as a bridge for the main character to get together, especially if it's Wes—praying for the sake of my time that she and Wes' inevitable break up isn't forced.

Where was this book series when I was 14? I mean there’s no plot 95% of the book and the writing is not a masterpiece but these books are made for teenagers, the drama, the gossip, the romance!!! It’s one of those books where you’re just going through the motions of the life of a teenager. It’s so bloody cute.

My Review: Sweet Temptation by Alexandra Moody is book 2 in the Weybridge Academy series.

My Final Say: Oh my goodness! I knew there was more going on than was obvious. My heart can't take it.

Other: Yea...so I'm fangirling this series. I don't care if it's Wattpad, Tik Tok, Crunchroll, or any other. This series is insanely good for a YA. Whew! It's the angst and the tension. It's the unresolved feelings. It's the side stories. It's the friend group. It's the sacrifice. It's the love.

I’m lowkey mad but only because the characters are too good for the romance to be this shallow. Like, every single friendship in this series is 10/10. The characters are really well-developed, and and they would work really well together in a relationship in theory, but then as soon as they are together, they’re only thought becomes “that person is really attractive.” Drives me up the wall crazy, but still a really good series. Absolutely hooked. Also, THAT EPILOGUE 👀👀👀

Help. Why are these books so incredibly addicting?!? Literally just read 2 books in less than 24 hours. And I still am so excited to read the last one too!!!

Noah’s and Isobels relationship is definitely at the low point and I was really starting to get worried about the two. Especially because she started to date Wes now and really seems to like him. And he is really cute but arghh. I want her and Noah together haha 🥲😂.

Still, the last chapter kind of explained why Noah was/is acting the way he is and hopefully, when Isobel finds out that Noah and her dad are working together on some kind of plan, she forgives him and they get back together!! Because I swear, I don’t wanna read more scenes about Wes and her being all cuddly and happy!

Also, it really freaking annoys me how fast she moved on from Noah. Like girl chill. You need more than 3 weeks to move on. And come on, how fast can you get together with a new guy?!?

All in all, this book was soo amazing!! Only thing is that there are, as mentioned before, not that many scenes between Noah and Isobel. Because of that:

I just read this in one sitting. There is something wrong with me

Was I the only one overjoyed when Wes and Isobel got together? I've been screaming it since book one
This is the weirdest series because I'm unable to pinpoint what exactly intrigues me so much. The writing is juvenile; it's like your preteen cousin is telling you a story (half of which you're positive is made up), but is allowed to swear as well. I have a sneaking suspicion the author's parents are divorced (don't have any good reason to back this up other than the parents reuniting plotline)
The cliffhanger was good and unexpected. Loved Luther, the twins, as always, and Sawyer is the best. Honestly hoping Isobel doesn't end up with Noah in the end, but that's just me (And I know it's going to happen). Going to start book three because I need to know how this chaos ends.

I liked how the story evolved and the characters grew, but it felt like more of a buildup than a full story. Not a lot actually happened, and it left me wanting more action or resolution. It’s clear the third book is going to be intense.
I’m especially worried about Wes. He’s such a good character and does not deserve the pain I feel coming his way. I’m not ready for what this series is about to do to my heart.

What the....whattt!😶. What stupid ending was this!. This was such a stupid ending! I was so enjoying the book, and then the author has to go and do that! 😤. Still needless to say, I'll be waiting for book 3 to get a closure.

I seriously think the author could've turned things and ended the series in just two books. It was unnecessary to drag it. But I'm excited. When will book 3 be released 😫 😭
