“ChArt” is an inspiring blend of Nadieh’s professional journey with glimpses into her personal story, showing how she evolved from visualizing data to creating data-driven art.
Throughout the book, she offers practical insights that anyone working with data can - and in my opinion, should - apply, while keeping it refreshingly real by sharing the struggles and missteps behind the scenes.
Whether you’re after hands-on tips, creative inspiration, or simply something beautiful to show on your coffee table, this book is a must-have for anyone interested in the visual side of data
I really appreciated how the book is specific to Nadieh's process and approach towards data viz, rather than some broad, generic data viz "how-to" (not that there's anything wrong with those books--they're necessary too!). It makes it a more compelling and illuminating read getting to see how she works. Nadieh's such an incredibly talented designer and even just thumbing through the book to see images of her projects is really awe-inspiring.
