This book is an excellent place to start for those who see what's going on in our culture today and need a solid understanding how we got here. The author also does a solid job of advising how Christians can biblically respond. I highly recommend it!

Any Christian could pick this book up and gain a basic understanding of the ideas behind the woke agenda of the day.
Engler begins by laying out the historical track record of Marxist movements and what they have led to. She also delves into some of the children that have spawned from Marx, including neo-Marxist sentiments. Remember, ideas have consequences.
Time is spent on how words are redefined by Marxists and arguments are used to spur emotions while largely leaving behind facts. Marxism is an anti-God, anti-family, anti-freedom movement of disorder, and Engler is faithful to back this up with Scripture.
She also gives the Christian hope in the midst of "a woke new world" that Christ is the ultimate Victor, and we are on the winning side.
I would consider allowing an older teenager to read this (some of the themes are heavy) as they prepare to leave home so they get an idea of what they will face in society. It would be especially good for young adults already in college or starting out on their own.

Such a clear guide for Christians wanting to explore these multi-layered ideas. I especially appreciated the detailed, but not overwhelming, explanation of the history behind today's Neo-Marxist concepts.
