Great Book!!
I really liked reading Mafia Christmas Vows and it was a quick read for me. It was a great story and it sucked me in and kept me engrossed from the start of this book.

His Unexpected Soulmate -
Maggie had accepted her fate to ensure her mother was safe, but she never expected her first interaction with her soon to be husband would have her questioning whether she was doing the right thing. Even though Alexei knew he had to get married, he wasn’t really happy about it and made a decision to stay away as much as possible after they got married. However, fate and Mother Nature had other plans in store for Alexei, as he was forced to stay with Maggie during the blizzard, which gave them the chance to get to know each other better.
Alexei soon realised he enjoyed being with Maggie, which led to a change in his mindset about a lot of things, as Maggie had helped him overcome the pain from his past and given him the will to live a full and happy life together. This is a feel-good romance story, about finding the right partner to share your life with, family pressures and reviving traditions that allow you to spread love and joy. This gripping story had me totally engrossed from the first page and kept me eagerly turning the pages, until I finished. You will definitely enjoy reading this book just as much as I did.

I did enjoy reading this book. To me this was not a mafia read, but just a romance book. I think this book moves too fast and there isn't enough information in this book to really explain what Alexei does, there are references referring to him as a monster but does not go into his role at all regarding the mafia part of his life. There is not enough information regarding Maggie's Dad either, what was his role within the mafia and why does he have enemies. It feels like there are important facts missing and it does impact on the book. i think it would make all the difference if those facts were added to this book. Regarding the characters I did enjoy reading about Alexei, and how after all this time the death of his mother is as raw as it was when she passed. I liked how Maggie helped him move on from that but liked reading about how their relationship grew. It did happen quite quickly to be fair. It did help that they were attracted to each other, Plus things were alot better once Alexei started to get to know Maggie.

Maggie and Alexei are an absolutely perfect pair. Their chemistry is undeniable, and I found myself completely invested in their connection. While I would have loved to see this story expanded into a full-length novel, the novella did an excellent job of hitting all the key emotional moments without getting bogged down in unnecessary details. The fast-paced narrative kept me hooked from start to finish, and it was a delightful experience to watch them fall for each other so quickly yet naturally.

I love everything an Ivy Sky’s writes, but this one was absolutely perfect!!! Maggie was so sweet and for the new world she was thrust into, the perfect person for Alexei. For a man, who was supposed to be a monster, he was absolutely a prince.
Watching these two discover each other, an arranged marriage, slight age gap, instant connection, it was everything.
I was connected to these two instantly.
I loved everything about this short story and would have loved more.
I never saw the monster Alexei thought he was and Maggie was led to believe he was. He was so sweet with his surprises and discoveries.
Those discoveries were all incredibly hot. Gotta start making some cookies myself 😉

This was, at its core, about letting go of the past, grieving and finding love. My heart went out to both main characters, Alexei and Maggie. They were so different, yet despite those differences there were similarities that would shine through. Alexei comes off as harsh and cold, and he certainly can be, because he was groomed that way. Forcing back his positive memories has left him devoid of happiness and jot. Maggie, however, has had a life full of joy, despite her lack of paternal influence. Her arrangement with Alexei seems to her to be a cruel and punishing means of inserting himself in her life now. Can both these characters move forward from the past and find contentment in the present?

Mafia Christmas Vows is quite suspenseful and a definite page turning mafia romance. When I first read the blurb for this book, I knew right away that I had to read the book to see what was going to happen between the main characters. I absolutely LOVED getting to know the main characters Alexei and Maggie who I thought were quite interesting and intriguing at the same time. I couldn’t get enough of Alexei and Maggie’s amazing story and was slightly saddened when their story came to an end because I didn’t want it to end. Author Vivy Skys continues to prove to me what an amazing author she is with each book I have read by her so far. I would absolutely give this book as a recommendation for anyone who is Looking for a mafia holiday romance to read. I can’t wait to see what will be next from this author.

This isn't a mafia book OR a surprise pregnancy book OR a dark romance.
Furthermore, there's no actual plot and there are major holes in the story (her mom is in hiding but they're in contact and she comes for Christmas?! That's not how being in hiding works.). There also aren't paragraphs: every sentence is its own paragraph, and the dialogue for the MMC is written slightly grammatically incorrectly, which I guess is to make us think he has a Russian accent or something?

Mafia Christmas Vows is my first read by this author but not my last! This one is very pleasant surprise. It has a little bit of everything! Arranged marriage ✔️, surprise baby ✔️, dark and dirty ✔️, age gap✔️, well written, steamy and oh so yummy ✔️✔️✔️. All things that make Alexei and Maggie's story a great, quick read. Maggie's father is a mess! It's because of him that she marries someone she doesn't know but, it's also because of him she found the love of a lifetime. Their journey is fantastic! It's gritty, dramatic and sooo, so steamy.

Well this book will definitely hold you down till you read the amazing story that was well written, and the characters were sensational. When Maggie, is told to marry Alexei, to save her family, she has just been told who her father is, one monster passing her off to another monster. Her husband is mush older she is scared of him they are staying in separate rooms, until they were snowed in then communication was the key to start their marriage and that was hot and steamy.

There was subtleness to the read. I expected the domination of a Russian Bravta. Yes, Alexi portrayed as a monster when required but his trade for a wife to save his home brought him back to reality.
Maggie was a trade for safety reasons. No more spoiling. Soft start, sexual intro leading to light domination and yes, love.
A wonderful way to explore a new independent author for new readers. Vivy has awesome reads.

A very different Mafia story. Alexei agrees to marry Maggie as a business deal to keep his ancestral home out of the government hands. He had no intention f spending much time with her until he is forced back home for the marriage and finds he actually is attracted to her. Maggie agrees to the marriage to protect her mother and the father she doesn't really know. She finds herself attracted to Alexie. This is a must-read.

Maggie find out she has to marry someone. The housekeeper is nicer to her than the man she is to marry. Alexei saw Christmas decorations up and was not happy.. She told him she was going to make cookies and he softened a little. Later that night he kissed her. He thought about it for days. He decided that it would be nice to have a wife he could feel. When she got there she had no clothes. The house she lived in with her mother had burned down. He decided that since she had no choice in marrying him, he got her a ring so they could try again.

Best Christmas Romance Ever. OMG this story is amazing. Alexei and Maggie's story for the most part had me giggling and smiling so much my cheeks hurt by the end of the story. They have an arranged marriage and had never meet or seen pictures of each other. He is grumpy and off standoffish at first. Between Maggie and Elena his life long housekeeper he starts warming to Maggie. And the story only gets better and better. This is definitely a must read. It's romantic and hot and spicy. Yes please 💜 Great job Vivy. I absolutely loved it

OMG 😱 this was a steamy page turner and the suspense was insane and intense. I was on the edge of tears and my seat and I couldn’t even put it down. It was addicted and I was sucked right in this story. These sparks between these characters had ignited of passion and forbidden love and rage. They couldn’t fight the temptation any longer of danger but this relationship was about to heat up in this moment of pain and death.

This is Book 8 in the Ruthless Mafia Kings Series by this author, and can be read as a standalone. It is an age gap, enemies to lovers romance between Maggie and Alexei. These flawed but likeable souls and the unique plot make for an intriguing read. What starts out as an arranged marriage turns into something more. It is a wild ride with drama and steam, danger and suspense, sexual tension and chemistry, family dynamic, twists and turns, and engaging secondary characters. A mafia holiday romance.

Dark Mafia romance with a little bit of the holiday spirit all around. Maggie has just found out that her biological father is in the Russian Mafia. Her and her mother are in danger from his enemies. I love the characters. It was like a Beauty and the Beast meets Hallmark Christmas movie with a touch of Russian. It gave me good feelings throughout the entire story. Alexei had his moments of being a stubborn, pigheaded bastard, but in the end, he was sweet and caring. I loved Maggie. She was apprehensive about her situation but made the best of it and stood her ground.

I really enjoyed this book. It is about an arranged marriage that turns out good for both MCs. I liked that other than implied there was not much violence or angst against the MCs. This book deals with both MCs coming to grips with an arranged marriage and dealing with complicated feelings. I highly recommend this book to all dark mafia romance readers.

This story felt like it was between current year and past years. Like late 1800. The way Alexi spoke. The way they fell in love and how fast they fell in love. Yes their marriage was arranged to protect her and her mother, but she had a choice to marry or not. Maggie showed Alexi that he didn't have to live in the past so he wouldn't forget how happy he was as a child before tragedy struck.
Thus was not a mafia story, it was a love story. There was no violance.

Best book I've read in a while. Loved this story. Maggie is forced from her home and into a marriage to a stranger. Alexei is a dangerous man. Forced to spend the holidays together because of a snowstorm, they slowly learn about each other.

The author has given us a heartwarming older man/younger woman story that pulls us into the lives of Alexei and Maggie. The story keeps us turning the pages with danger, an arranged marriage, secrets, connection, denial, realizations and steam.

Nice story.
Maggie marries Alexei to protect her mother, and he marries Maggie to have an heir and keep his family home. This is mostly a romance with little Mafia references. Alexei is called a monster at times , but the author does not elaborate why he's called that. I enjoyed both characters and the Christmas
activities. There are steamy scenes.

Alexi and Maggie. She marries him to save her family. Hes cold and ruthless but she sees the man beneath. After a snowed in night in his mansion where he takes her innocense and her heart she wakes to him being gone. He marries her for a certain reason but wants to keep her for another. Really a good story.
