Ava Walters is the founder of LifeZen Publications. Coming from a family with a history of mental health issues, her journey began as a personal quest to find balance, inner peace, and what we all desire—happiness. This pursuit has led her to explore traditional psychotherapeutic methods and a diverse range of holistic practices. -------------- Do you want free copies of Ava's books? -------------- She has an MBA with a specialization in International Project Management (IPM). However, her trajectory took a significant turn after experiencing “a burnout and a breakdown.” She then returned to her first love—writing, complementing it with her deep passion for psychology. This transformation marked the beginning of her new journey. One focused on unraveling the intricate connections between human behavior and mental healing.
Today, as a dedicated author, Ava seamlessly integrates the benefits of psychotherapy and holistic practices, offering readers a comprehensive roadmap to improved mental health. Her empathetic writing style creates a safe and nurturing environment for readers to embark on their personal journeys of healing.
When she’s not writing, Ava can be found on her yoga mat, taking long nature walks with her husband, or in the kitchen, where she is constantly experimenting with new recipes to her husband’s delight.
This 3-in-1 book was so helpful. It’s full of tonnes of information, resources, examples, worksheets, reflective tools, etc. for a range of uses (adults, teens, anxiety, stresses, etc.). I loved the range of tools exemplified in these workbooks and the ‘why’ they worked. I’ve lots of experience with mental health over the years, and acceptance is one I work with often in a brain injury setting, but this book gave so many ideas and adaptations for all ranges of life that it can’t not be helpful.

If you're new to ACT therapy this manual is the real deal. It's also great for persons who are already on their ACT journey. It's a lengthy read but very much worth it!
I have been gushing over Ava Walters since I read ACT Therapy Workbook for Anxiety Relief. It remains one of my favorite books on ACT and anxiety, so I was thrilled to explore this 3-in-1 bundle.
As a life coach working with clients who experience non-clinical anxiety and depression, ACT is one of the modalities I use. I'm always searching for tools to add to my practice, and this workbook is now a go-to resource. This bundle of three excellent books is definitely a must-have. And yes, it’s an actual workbook—you get to write in it! (Side note: It amazes me how many books slap "workbook" on the cover but are just regular books. Where are the exercises? The writing space? The work?!)
One of the reasons I love Ava Walters' books is her gentle yet direct tone. Her writing feels personal and authentic—she actively practices what she teaches and never claims perfection, which makes her guidance even more relatable.
This 3-in-1 workbook includes:
The Radical Acceptance Workbook
ACT Therapy Workbook for Adults
ACT Therapy Workbook for Anxiety Relief
Each book is strong on its own, but together, they form a well-rounded guide. The bundle also includes a Mindfulness and Acceptance 15-Day Planner and Journal, which adds even more value. Since these books are deeply connected, it makes perfect sense to get them as a set rather than separately.
Walters does an excellent job of drawing similarities between ACT and Radical Acceptance, showing how they are interconnected. I’ve practiced Radical Acceptance and mindfulness for years, yet I still found this workbook engaging and insightful. It’s interactive, requiring active participation rather than just passive reading and is great for both individual and group work.
As someone who deals with high anxiety and panic attacks, this workbook felt deeply personal and real. Walters has lived through anxiety herself, making her incredibly relatable. She shares her vulnerabilities, which invites us to do the same.
Beyond ACT, the author references other therapeutic approaches, such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Her integration of multiple modalities makes this workbook incredibly well-rounded and insightful.
If you're looking for a practical and engaging way to explore ACT, Radical Acceptance, and mindfulness, this bundle is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!.

I read the first part of this workbook in 2024 and fo7nd it incredibly helpful. I think my favorite part of this book is the part on Anxiety. The events of 2020 really set my anxiety on edge. Up until then I really managed well. I am beyond excited to sit down and really dive into this workbook. My only wish would be that it would be available as a Goodnotes version so I could do everything digitally.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
