Canadians know Elizabeth Baird from her past work with Canadian Living Magazine. I also enjoyed her as a guest on TV shows sharing recipes and cooking skills. And I have another one of her cookbooks where I found some of my favourite recipes.
This Christmas cookbook is one that I've turned to for the past few years since I got it and I use it for what are now some of my go-to Christmas baking recipes in particular. This year I went through the book again and tried a new recipe for a Christmas fruitcake with chocolate and pecans which I adapted a bit and which will now join the list of go-to Christmas bakes for gifts or to enjoy at home. It was yummy!
