On The Mob 2: The Cuppacio Twins
Jagoda Bay, known for its lavish mansions and flashy mobsters, is currently the city of bizarre problems, erratic decisions, and difficult circumstances thanks to the Cuppacio family and their associates. With only three marriages holding back the Cuppacio men from securing their place in the Rinaldi Mafia, all eyes are on the twins, Renello and Metavello, as they are next to wed their prospective wives.
Twin one, Metavello, unbeknownst to him, has bitten into forbidden fruit. With nothing but Discover and her glorious "center" on his mind, he is determined to remove all obstacles that block her from becoming his forever. But is the fruit worth the trouble that is attached to being with his Big Mama, and how can he decide when he can’t stop his desire for another bite?
Discover has never felt more stuck than she does with the three men currently tapping in and out of her environment. She left her child's father behind when she decided to raise her daughter alone, and now, at every turn, there he is. Her husband is ready to create an heir, but how could Discover ever split her time with her firstborn, Discovery. And her handful of run-ins with Metavello have caused highs and lows that Discover has decided she can do without. All three men are unsolvable issues, and it's literally making Discover sick to her stomach.
Twin two, Renello, wants nothing but to see Pia happy, but only if he is the one making her happy. With his actions showing Pia that he wants more from her than the title of "once my cousin, not my cousin, but still maybe my cousin," Renello has no plans but to get money, remove any threats to Pia's well-being, and get married. However, his bridal choice has yet to make any moves to solidify that she will be agreeing to marriage, and this causes Renello to push boundaries until someone caves.
Pia has made tough decisions her whole life. Having Renello come back into her world gave her a glimpse of security Pia had not seen since she was a young girl. Now, she is leveling up again when her long-lost father enters the picture, and she plans to hit pause on anything requiring her to use her decision-making skills. But is the pause helping Pia move forward to find her purpose in life? Or is it all just more excuses for her to avoid her horrid past and her new underlying feelings?

Now, he is set for life as a highly sought-after tattoo artist, and with his current mixtape blowing up, he's adding up-and-coming rapper out of Chicago to his resume. Love/Hate Relationship With This Book
I hate this book but at the same time, I’m so vested in this book. The only characters that I truly like are the kids Nelz and Discovery. All of the grown-ups are too messed up. Pia is confused, Discover is selfish and Missy is a hoe. I can’t stand Missy the most because I do not like the whole prostituting storyline. However, Ms. Austin seems to favor that storyline often in her books. Discover is wrong as two left shoes. Your daughter’s only wish is to know her father and you withhold that from her all the while claiming to love her. As far as the twins, they’re DUMB! How do the think its okay to turn on Rio? Why not step to him like a man? They’re way too childish and immature to root for. Essex is just nasty. How do you wife a ran through woman, that everyone has slept with. Ugh! I feel like this book could have been over. It’s starting to drag now.

Hanging From The Cliff... Again!?
Pia and Rio's introduction was so gut wrenchingly heartbreaking and heart-healing all at the same time. I actually shed a tear or two at all that came from that chapter. Lisa did her BIG one with that part of the story, including Patty's breakthrough. Unfortunately, after that revelation, however, it was more of the same comedic relief and plenty of new subplots that started, and a few characters introduced, but nothing got resolved. At this point, I am just going to take a break from this author until she has released all the books in and adjacent to this series so I can finished what I started and be completely done with Jagoda Bay and all it's residents.

Oh Heck Nawl!!
When I tell you these twins keep me laughing. They had to both be dropped at birth. I love them both. Now both these leading ladies they love are working my nerves. They are making these relationships harder than they have to be. Nel about to definitely be a crashout now that he’s had Pia Baby. Vello is so confused with he and Big Mama’s situation. I understand somewhat because of who he now knows she is. But for the life of me, I don’t know what either brother thought with the thoughts of coming for Don Rio. Now they both damn near frozen because Don Rio is about that business. But Hobo has signed his death certificate for what’s happened to Lil Nel. Prayers up… Really Lisa!!!!!

The story keeps you on the edge of your seat!

I’m at a loss for words this book was so good! I’m sick it’s a part 3 for the twins story and I hope we don’t have to wait too long to read it. The story was written very well. The story plots and characters developments was chef kiss especially since there are so many main characters.
There were also some new characters introduced that I can’t wait to see how they carry on in the story to come. Lisa Austin knows how to write a book! She does not miss!

One thing about this author, she’s gonna leave you with a BOMB CLIFFHANGER! I know Pia’s whole life just flashed before her eyes! Neltz being shot, will probably be the catalyst, that pushes Pia into her role in the Mecanio mob. I hope Hobo knows his days breathing are limited. Not only did he lay hands on the heir to the Mecanio mob, but he’s also working with the police to take down twin. He’s gonna have to answer to not one, but two Dons! But that’s if twin doesn’t get to him first!

Nel and Vel was being their usual selves handling business and trying to handle being in love! Vel in love with Big Mama came with more secrets than he bargained for! Nel trying to navigate this new life with Pia, and her new Daddy was putting him in his feelings! The rest of the crew were living their lives! A lot was going down in Jagoda Bay and I can't wait for book 3! A great read!

Buckle up for the twist and turns
The plots and the foundation laid for this book behind the characters was well written and the bantering between each chapter was everything. Book 2 has left me with so many questions, heart dropping moments, mind racing moments to where if you don’t pay attention to each page you will miss something! A wild ride for sure, The twins betta get ready feel like a war brewing! Lisa I’m ready for part 3!

I’m not even gone lie at times I found myself skimming what I deemed filler/fluff just to hurry up & get to the good stuff/the plot. Give me the dialogue, help me out these pieces together faster, etc. I didn’t need some of the background info that was given fr (& maybe I will in the next book). Despite that I loved this book & how it ended really got me shocked & sad af cause come on now.

Just when you thought the secrets all came to light, Lisa hit you with a double, triple, whammy.
