Layne lives alone above a pizzeria.
Window with access from the fire escape.
When Wes sees her for the first time, he is obsessed.

descriptiondescription

Wes is an investigator for the district attorney, so he has access to a lot of things, including criminals who are released and not properly convicted.

descriptiondescription

He begins following her, appear in her room while she's asleep...
Maybe he wants to kill her, maybe he won't...

descriptiondescription

Layne starts falling for him, he's way too obsessed for letting her go...
And he would do anything for her.

descriptiondescription

Wes's sister was killed, so he kinda avenges her.
The conflict between a villain and an avenger.
What's right? What's wrong?
Justice is blind.

descriptiondescription

The scenes between Wes and Layne are hot, kinky.
Loved Atlas, he's sweet and Layne's best friend.

descriptiondescription

Layne has a lot of issues, her childhood wasn't easy.
Now it's time for punishment.

descriptiondescription

This story has some triggers, but it's also very sweet, in a psycho way.

This was a very quick, fun stalker romance 😊

I devoured it, and honestly, my only complaint is that it's not a full length novel because I would eat that shit up 🤣🤣

Wes is absolutely delightful 🤤

Very much enjoyed it 🤌🏼🙏🏼

3.5 This one was pretty good and a new author!!

Wes has been stalking Layne for about 3 months he's obsessed with her. He stalking isn't too extreme like the ones I read, but he has some red flags. When he chased her through the park 😍 he was sweet to let her go when she confessed she was a virgin. I was pretty happy he was crazy but respectful of her.

Layne girl had her own problems, but she was okay with Wes and his darkness. She didn't care, she had her own problems and she spoke about them to Wes and I love that he would do anything for her and even took on her problems ;)

That wedding was so cute, and his gift to her 😈😈😈
Couples that kill together ❤️

Safety - there was none. We have a gut pizza owner who liked her, but nothing ever happened. He got mad she was taken.

No ow/om drama, no cheating, drama, Sexy time, virgin gal and no manwhore

Omg, this book is a hard yes! Layne is an adorable brat and I look forward to her character development. Wes? Phew. *chefs kiss* He can stalk me any day! I love a possessive, morally gray, MMC and he is IT! The banter and clear soul connection between Layne and Wes was fun to watch unfold in a short span. This novella will be ‘Haunting Me’ until your next book, Izzy! I cannot wait.

It's Release Day!

I am going to give this 3.5 rounded to 4 ⭐️

“I don’t know, Atlas, I just want something real. Someone who can see past all my brokenness and love me even though I am fucked up.”

Haunting Me is a super fast-paced insta love serial killer/Stalker novella with quite a lot of spice. Please be mindful that some of the content may be triggering. Things such as non-consent, stalking, murder, attempted murder, knife play, mention of child abuse, knife play, blood and etc.

"I am coming for all the monsters that haunt her nightmares. They fucked with the scarier monster’s girl."

I enjoyed my time reading it, and it's a good book, but I just didn't end up loving it quite as much as I wanted to. I am starting to think that maybe insta-love just isn't my jam, so with that acknowledged I definitely will still recommend this book bc I know there is a niche out there that this book is going to resonate very strongly in!

“Don’t mistake my obsession and undying devotion to you as weakness, baby. I fully intend on taming the brat inside you.”

Overall, I loved the concept of this story, and Wes was definitely 🥵🥵🥵. A lot of people are going to be getting a new book boyfriend for sure!!

I received an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you Izzy for allowing me to read this early!

Izzy weaves beautiful words together to create this story about a serial unaliver removing evil from the world and stalks his obsession, a dark haired beauty with a tragic past and a passion for knives that find an intense love.

This is a fast paced novella that will leave you wanting more of this dark dynamic duo. Luck for us, there’s a full length book in our future. The smut was really smutting during this book and I couldn’t get enough of it.

If you love a dark romance with an unhinged obsessed MMC and a sweet but equally sinful FMC this is the perfect book for you.

💀 Favourite Quotes 💀

“Next time, Ma Petite Mort. I’ll be so deep inside you, you’ll never get away from me”

“You’re mine, Layne. I have a lifetime to give you everything

“No Matter how we fuck, rough or tender, loving or angry. Know that the only pussy I want to die inside is yours, Layne.”

It’s a f**k yes from me
This short little stalker read hit all the right spots and made me now find that i love a curly hair green eyed man
I love the Scottish and Irish roots that are shown in the book and made me smile
(My husband and i shared similar vows)

It is hard hitting - instalove and lust
Every facet of it for a novella hit me like it was a full length story.

Can’t wait to see what comes next.

"I'll haunt you in the afterlife, my presence lingering in every corner of your existence. Our souls would haunt one another, connected for eternity."

Thank you, Izzy Ravas, for the opportunity to join your team of ARC readers.

This debut novella was amazing!! I devoured it in one sitting. For being on the shorter side, I was surprised by how much plot and spice we got.

Layne, the FMC, is struggling to get her life back on track after suffering abuse from her family as a child. She is a bad ass heavy metal chick with a drinking problem and a stalker.

Wes, the MMC, her mask wearing stalker/ vigilante will never let anyone hurt her. He is possessive and is willing to do anything to help her through her trauma.

As always, with dark romance, remember to check trigger warnings before diving in, but I highly recommend you give this one a go.

I hope we get a full-length novel about these characters.

Insta lust but intriguing. Wes was very funny to me, plus I loved that I knew the band from the concert. That was fun lol

The whole part where he ate her out even though she bled……….im sorry that was hot 🙈 lmaoo

I see there’s gonna be a full length book about them upcoming so that’s something I’ll be looking forward to. Maybe she’ll want to be like him in that one and they kill together since she murdered her dad in this one and got a taste

Thank you so much to Izzy for the opportunity to review this lovely novella early!

𝖄𝖔𝖚 𝖈𝖆𝖓 𝖉𝖗𝖆𝖌 𝖒𝖊 𝖉𝖔𝖜𝖓 𝖙𝖔 𝖍𝖊𝖑𝖑 𝖓𝖔𝖜 𝖋𝖔𝖗 𝖋𝖚𝖈𝖐𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝖒𝖞 𝖘𝖙𝖆𝖑𝖐𝖊𝖗 𝖆𝖘 𝖑𝖔𝖓𝖌 𝖆𝖘 𝕴 𝖈𝖆𝖓 𝖙𝖆𝖐𝖊 𝖙𝖍𝖎𝖘 𝖒𝖆𝖓 𝖜𝖎𝖙𝖍 𝖒𝖊.

In this fast-paced novella, we follow Wes and Layne. Wes is our stalking MMC with a dirty mouth and even dirtier acts. But he’s also (what I think everyone in the discussion stated) a big cinnamon roll. Layne is our bratty and feisty FMC that is totally up for matching unhinged energy. She also has a bit of need to seek revenge on someone, and Wes is all about helping her with that. 😈

“𝕯𝖔𝖓’𝖙 𝖒𝖎𝖘𝖙𝖆𝖐𝖊 𝖒𝖞 𝖔𝖇𝖘𝖊𝖘𝖘𝖎𝖔𝖓 𝖆𝖓𝖉 𝖚𝖓𝖉𝖞𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝖉𝖊𝖛𝖔𝖙𝖎𝖔𝖓 𝖙𝖔 𝖞𝖔𝖚 𝖆𝖘 𝖜𝖊𝖆𝖐𝖓𝖊𝖘𝖘, 𝖇𝖆𝖇𝖞. 𝕴 𝖋𝖚𝖑𝖑𝖞 𝖎𝖓𝖙𝖊𝖓𝖉 𝖔𝖓 𝖙𝖆𝖒𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝖇𝖗𝖆𝖙 𝖎𝖓𝖘𝖎𝖉𝖊 𝖞𝖔𝖚.”

For a quick read, there’s a ton of plot and a ton of spice. I highly enjoyed it and recommend it for anyone that has that particular thirst for a dark romance with insta-lust-for-your-masked-stalker kinda vibes. Izzy did not disappoint with this, and we’re all in luck that a full novel will be coming soon. I can’t wait for it!

“𝕸𝖆 𝕻𝖊𝖙𝖎𝖙𝖊 𝕸𝖔𝖗𝖙, 𝕴𝖋 𝕴 𝖙𝖔𝖑𝖉 𝖞𝖔𝖚 𝖆𝖇𝖔𝖚𝖙 𝖆𝖑𝖑 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝖉𝖆𝖗𝖐𝖓𝖊𝖘𝖘 𝖎𝖓𝖘𝖎𝖉𝖊 𝖔𝖋 𝖒𝖊, 𝖜𝖔𝖚𝖑𝖉 𝖞𝖔𝖚 𝖘𝖙𝖎𝖑𝖑 𝖑𝖔𝖔𝖐 𝖆𝖙 𝖒𝖊 𝖑𝖎𝖐𝖊 𝖞𝖔𝖚 𝖉𝖔 𝖗𝖎𝖌𝖍𝖙 𝖓𝖔𝖜?”

ARC REVIEW !! 🙌

Story follows fmc Layne going about her day to day when she wakes up to discover her stalker has broken into her apartment. Being the thoughtful stalker he is leaving her some hangover relief for the morning. After that emerald green eyes haunt her and one night walking home from work late at night he decides to claim her as his own.
I definitely enjoyed this little novella. It was very fast paced with an Insta love possessiveness between the characters. I would have loved to have seen more from before they meet when hes stalking her but otherwise I loved it. The characters are developed really well by the author and although falling for your stalker so quickly might not be the most normal thing in the world when your stalker is someone like Wes it’s understandable. He’s so caring for her even before they are together and protects her without her knowledge. He has this vigilante persona about him that kind of rubs off on her in the end. They support each other through all of their past trauma and ultimately Wes is a big softy who falls for Layne as quickly as she does for him.
There is a lot of dark themes within the book. Things like blood and knife play which can be triggering for some but I feel wrote into the characters perfectly. They both have an affinity for knives so it makes sense. Wes also likes to unalive bad people hence the dark vigilante persona and the scenes can be graphic but are written so perfectly there isn’t any question about what’s happening.
I would say in terms of spice it would be about 3-4/5 there is a lot of spicy scenes with blood and knife play involved. Overall I’d rate this novella at a 4/5 only because I would have liked more of a back story on his stalking leading up to their meeting. I unfortunately don’t think the suspense of “will he get her or not get her” was built up enough for their first spicy scene to be like omg they’re doing it but Was still a very good read. Definitely recommend checking it out 💜💜

I’m going to be honest, I DEVOURED this novella.

I can’t say how refreshing it is to come across an FMC who is down bad for her stalker right off the bat. This sounds like an odd statement, but typically our FMC grapples with hating and resisting her stalker in these types of stories and eventually gives in.

Layne quickly sees who Wes is and accepts him for it anyway. Despite his introduction to his woman, he quickly shows that he cares for nothing but her and her happiness.

Wes and Layne both come from troubled backgrounds and find their version of peace and happiness within each other and I honestly just 🥹🥹. (I know emojis aren’t words but I really went through all the feels towards the end).

This is also one of the few works I have read that has made me actually laugh out loud while reading internal dialogue.

This novella is very fast paced & super spicy. Wes & Laynes story in Haunting Me is a set up for future works by Izzy Ravas and I absolutely LOVE that.

For those who hate cliffhangers, it does NOT end on one. However, we do get a fun to be continued…

🖤🖤🖤

This was a whirlwind romance with a dash of stalker drama! Layne is on a mission to take back her life after some seriously shady family baggage. She’s a tough-as-nails heavy metal fan juggling a drinking habit and a not-so-chill stalker. Enter Wes, the brooding vigilante who's been watching her like a hawk for the last three months!

Their flirty banter and undeniable chemistry make this rollercoaster of a relationship a blast to read, even in such a quick tale.

Want more? Check out their full-length novel, "Tormenting Me," now hot off the press!

When he would k!ll for her!

Short, oh so spicy and an introduction to the deliciously dark bad boy that is Wes Larimore.

It’s a Stalker/serial k!ller read with obsession, retribution, 🍒 popping, nicknames, kn!fe play and insta love with a Celtic spin!

He’s obsessed with her and she isn’t scared. This is the story of two souls that recognise the darkness and need for one other, their devotion and connection intense. I absolutely loved it!!!

The way Wes and Laney fit is just *chefs 💋! Definitely recommend giving this novella from Izzy Ravas a go, my first read of hers and by no means the last.

Wes: “You’ll crawl and beg too.”

Wes can literally stalk me any day!

I truly enjoyed this amazing debut by Izzy Ravas! There’s so much story packed into this novella, it’s like you’re on a rollercoaster. There’s not a slow moment from cover to cover. It’s exciting, and spicy af. Wes is deliciously obsessed with Layne and let’s face it - obsession is a necessity when it comes to book boyfriends. 🖤🫶🏻

I had the pleasure of beta/arc reading this beauty and omg am I in love.

Wes is everything you want in an MMC. Stalker, masked, possessive and protective and will absolutely annihilate anyone who wishes you harm. He looks out for you and leaves some Tylenol on your nightstand to help with your hangover. He unalives bad people. Takes you for breakfast after a very steamy night.

Layne our FMC has a traumatic past that keeps her up at night and has her numbing her mind to be able to sleep. Lives her day to day working at a record store and lives above a pizza shop (which has its perks when the owner is your landlord and gives you free pizza). Her life's a lil hectic and she's procrastinator, getting to work late and not ordering her Uber in time; making her have to walk home .. in the dark..late at night..with headphones on not aware of her surroundings (catching my drift here)?

This story will teach you to lock your windows and doors (or not, if you want a sexy masked man to climb thru your fire escape)

This is novella with 13 chapters long and let me tell you, you will want to have so much more from this duo.

This was a short, high-heat stalker romance.

Wes has been watching Layne for months but now he's ready to finally have her.
Layne has pain she's holding from her past that keeps her from falling for anyone because she's afraid they can't handle the darkness she keeps inside.

This was hot. It has all the things I love: obsessed MMC, spunky FMC, spice, stalking, and violence.
