Love Kathleen Brooks books, Love the Townsend brothers and their books just get better and better.
Forrest works all round the world but the Amazon is the place which nearly kills him. Jordana needed help to escape the Amazon but brings trouble with her. Forrest and Jordana escape the Amazon and make their way to Shadow Landing. All the normal characters are back which I love. Love Black Beard too.

Let's talk about a fun series that will make you laugh out loud and is entertaining from beginning to end. That's what we get from Kathleen Brooks every single time. This book is no exception. We meet Forrest Townsend, who has invented an economical and innovative method for producing clean drinking water for people living in rural areas. He travels all over the world and, like all the other Townsend family members, he's intelligent and honorable. While working with a tribe living in the Amazon jungle, he meets a woman running for her life.
Jordana Alves is a botanist who has discovered a plant that has advanced healing properties. She, along with other scientists, wants to harvest this plant to save lives. While on this expedition, she is kidnapped by a group seeking to exploit the rainforest's resources for profit. After she escapes her captors, she meets Forrest, and he helps her by taking her to his family and friends in Shadows Landing. Forrest knows that this is the best place to keep her safe, but they didn't return alone. Forrest has also rescued a goat they named Black Beard, and like all the other animals in this world, he has a personality of his own!
The story was fun, exciting, and entertaining from beginning to end. I laughed out loud so many times, my husband said he may have to read this one. I recommend reading the whole series if you're looking to really be invested in the lives of some great fictional characters. Each book has been captivating, delightful, and thrilling. With the narration done by the magnificent and skilled Eric G. Dove, you can't go wrong. These two together are a powerful dynamic duo. Worth every credit!

Love trumps all, even diamonds!
And Townsend number six is knocked to his knees by love! It's the hardest hit Forrest has ever taken, but also the best. Jordana is everything he could wish for in a perfect woman, she is confident and fierce, super smart and spends her life in jungles searching for cures, she knows that family is the most important thing and she is loyal down to the bone. She is his perfect match and I love them together, when they are geeking out and getting excited about science, or fighting shoulder to shoulder to escape, wrestling gators on main street or embracing the pirate spirits of Shadows Landing, every second they are totally in sync and totally in love. It is awesome that she and her father fit straight into the family and the community, although I am a little sad there are no naked apple pie pics in this visit to Shadows Landing!
I look forward to Rowan's book and I hope we get more flirty banter with Damon and his possible match, please, please, please tell me they end up together....I am assuming we have to wait for Rowan and Pen to get their books first but would love it if we have just witnessed Damon meet his future wife! Perfect!

When doing good deeds go wrong. Forrest and Jordana were on two different missions in the Amazons but found themselves fighting the same battle.
I loved there chemistry and also how Jordana was a strong woman even when she felt nothing but fear. Also, give it up for the pregnancy announcements.

As always, Kathleen Brooks hits a home run with this book. I loved it. While this is really Jordana's and Forrest's story, we get to see more blooming romances in Shadows Landing. Kathleen writes with such humor and fun. It is also a thriller that keeps you guessing to the end. She said she loved writing this book and it shows in every page. Thank you, Kathleen Brooks, for another wonderful book.

Forrest Townsend an Enigineer take a trip to the dangerous Amazon in Brazil to help get some of the locals water. Jordan’s Aviles Botanist, goes to the Amazon jungle with a group to help find a vine to help cure Sepsis. But she was kidnapped and her team was killed. After four weeks she manages to escape. That’s when she runs into Forrest literally. Together they manage to escape the jungle and go to Shadows Landing. The excitement doesn’t end there.

Family
It was a wonderful visit in Shadows Landing with all our favorite pirate-loving characters! The Townsends quickly became one of my favorite families to read about! All I can say is that Forest didn't disappoint! He is everything we have come to love about this family! He's quick to step up and protect and loyal to those he fiercely loves! I can't wait for what's to come with this family!

I really loved the premise of this story, along with the characters & community. I did feel that some of 'helps' were over the top unrealistic fulfillments. I don't want to give anything away but really? Of course, these are no ordinary people. I enjoyed seeing the blooming romances of some of the side characters & wish we could have been there for Peter's wedding it's been a long time in coming. I really can't wait for Damian to find his match.

This series and this author have a chokehold on me. I read every book the second it comes out, usually in a day. I’m honestly getting anxious wondering how much more she can write about this town because I’m not ready for it to end. I love everything about this world: the community, the family dynamics, and how easy and enjoyable these books are to fly through. Another fast, comforting, and really good read. Also i NEED Damon’s book ASAP!

amazing story
Altho i gave it 4 stars, the same characters and storyline as all previous books. Hard to put down and keeps you hanging on. The 4 star is due to poor edits, missing words in sentences and wrong grammar used, which surprises me as this author is usually on top of it. Very disappointing.

Who else can take a kidnapping and hostage situation and have you laughing, cringing, crying, giggling, and feeling a little stronger internally at the end? Get ready for an adventure that has hilarious animals, caimans vs alligators, pirates, ghosts, bad guys, machetes, knives, teenagers speaking in tongues, and so much more! Loved every minute of it.

As always, beautiful, hysterical & well written
I've read every book Kathleen Brooks has written. I have loved each and every one. I follow only 3 authors for new releases but she is my favorite. When my spouse can't get my attention he asks, "Is it Keenston or Shadows Landing?? He laughs when he wakes up at 3am and I'm still reading!! He knows.

Running into love
Forrest was not expecting to find the love of his life in the middle of the Amazon after she literally ran into him. As they began their adventure that would bring them to Shadows Landing, their love blossomed and grew very quick. Watching the entire town assemble around them was good. Let’s not even talk about the goat! Another good read

I love this series and absolutely adore the characters and town. Every time we visit though I just want to stay and enjoy the banter, action and love. It’s like one big happy family that always has excitement. Terrific story that makes me want more and I cannot wait until Rowan’s story.

Great book
