You are a pilgrim and life is your pilgrimage. It had a distinct beginning and it will come to a distinct end.
Make the most of it. It is both a test you are taking and a gift you have been given.
"You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes." - James 4:14
This book takes you on a pilgrimage that crosses 1500 miles and 500 years. Along the way you will meet Michelangelo, Leonardo DaVinci, Galileo Galilei, Bernadette of Lourdes, and others who have had a profound effect on the world.
I finished the book and I truly enjoyed such a wonderful adventure!!! My favorite passage was
"I raised my hand and pointed at the simple dark doorway frame that Da Vinci had painted under the figure of Jesus. Then I turned and looked at him. He was intensely staring up at me and tears were streaming down his face."
I love this passage because it is true that the most important thing .. that which leads to the fullness of life...is humbly and faithfully willing to be empty and wide open in exchange for the will and wonder of God . The door is the cross and crucifixion...it appears dark, but by the faithful and humble will of Jesus, leads us to everlasting light and life ☀️ 🙌🏼💛
His tears are full of sorrow for those who don't yet have eyes to see this, full of hope that one day they surely will, and full of unexplainable joy that God has forever made a way 🥹❤️
